Counted Repeat Cycle
After the footswitch or "Trigger" switch is depressed, the output will be enabled for the amount of
time determined by the time set in the "On-Time" variable. The green "Timed On" light will be
illuminated when the output is enabled. The output will then be switched off for the amount of
time set in the "Off-Time" variable. The red "Timed Off" light will be illuminated when the output
is off. After the "Off Time" has been completed, the cycle will continue to be repeated until the
number of "on" cycles equals the quantity in the "# cycles" variable. The cycle may also be
terminated by another press of the footswitch or the "Trigger" switch.
Toggle
After the footswitch has been depressed, the output will be on even when the footswitch is released.
The output will remain on until the footswitch is pressed again. The green "Timed On" light will
be illuminated during the cycle.
Direct
The output of the SG-PST-III will be directly tied to the footswitch. When the footswitch is
pressed, the output will be on. The output will remain on until the footswitch is released. The
green "Timed On" light will be illuminated during the cycle
Purge Modes:
The purge mode is entered by pressing the footswitch twice in rapid succession (1/2 second). This
mode may also be entered by pressing the switch marked "Purge" on the front panel. The amber
light marked "Purge" will be illuminated whenever the purge mode is entered
Timed Purge Mode
In this mode, the purge will continue for the amount of time set in the Purge Time Variable. This
timed mode may be interrupted by pressing the footswitch during the purge.
Continuous Purge Mode
In this mode, the purge will continue until the footswitch is released.
Programming:
To enter the program mode:
Press the button in the upper left corner of the keypad marked (CHG PRE).
The Change Preset mode will be entered and the variables may be scrolled through by
pressing the (+) and (-) buttons.
When the variable that is to be changed is selected, press the Enter (ENT) key in the
lower right corner of the keypad.
The Enter key toggles the cursor between the variable name and the variable value.
When the variable value is selected, use the "Cursor Right"()and "Cursor
Left"()keys to move the cursor among the 4 digit positions. Use the (+) and (-) keys
to change the mode, enter a time or the number of cycles. Press (ENT) to continue
editing.
When editing is complete, press (MSG) to return to the Main Message Display.
