BE SAFE:
We recommended that you have at least two people involved in the setup of this
overhead. Seriously.
BE PREPARED:
Contact your Distributor immediately if any parts
listed on the prior page are missing from your
overhead or your bulbs arrived broken
1. To reduce the chance of accidental bulb breakage:
remove the safety diffuser screen and light bulbs from the
overhead housing.
2. Install the 3-piece shield set as noted in your table’s
instruction manual. Use care when installing the overhead
unit to avoid scratching or damaging the
shields.
3. Place the Overhead Housing Mounting
Bracket on the floor with its threaded bolts
facing up.
4. Place the mounting tubes into the
bracket channels, making sure the
threaded bolts go all the way through.
5. Place the Overhead Housing on top of
the bracket and tubes, aligning the 4 holes
with the bolts and secure using the ¼” nuts
and washers.

8
6. The Fire Storm overhead’s unique design
has narrower-diameter tubes than the standard
overhead and it can be a challenge to feed the
Overhead Wire Harness from the housing
through the tube. We suggest taking a piece of
the nylon banding used to box your overhead
(or table). Insert the nylon banding into the
SQUARE hole at the base and route it through
the square hole in the top of the overhead
housing.
7. Securely tape all three components of the wire harness to the nylon strap (tape
them one by one to the strap, obviously all three cannot pass through the narrow
tube together) carefully pull the nylon strap back through the rectangular hole at
the base of the overhead tube to route the connectors from the Overhead Scoring
Unit to the table.
Step 6: insert the nylon banding into the hole in the
overhead unit, and direct it through the mounting
tube. In step 7, you will use the banding to pull the
wiring along this path.

9
Step 9 : Notice how the rectangular opening and
four bolt holes on the side of the table match the
rectangular opening and four bolt holes found in
the Side Mounting Bracket. Always install this
bracket large holes UP, small holes DOWN
Step 14:
On FRONT side wall above the service
door. Don’t fully tighten the bolts yet.
Step 12: On REAR side wall, feed the wire harness
through the bracket opening.
8. On the Front Side
wall of the table
(containing the long
door secured with
two locks) remove
the four screws and
washers found at the
center of the table.
9. Secure a Side
Mounting Bracket using the screws and washers removed in the prior step. This part
is tapered to follow the angled side on the table
and should be installed with the LARGE holes
UP, and the two SMALL holes facing DOWN.
Make sure this bracket is parallel to the top rail
or your overhead will be crooked.
10. Slide a Side Mounting Bracket Cover in
place. For now, secure the bracket with one
screw and washer in each corner. Thread just
enough to hold the cover loosely to the bracket.
11. On the Rear Side Wall of the table (no service
door, wire harness for overhead is secured) cut the wire tie
holding the harness in place. Remove the 4 screws and
washers as on the Front Side Wall.
12. Feed the wire harness through the opening on the Side
Mounting Bracket and secure using the four screws and
washers from the previous step.
13. Have at least two people bring the assembled overhead
to the table. Orient the side with the wire harness toward
the Rear Side Wall.
14. Slide the overhead tubes into the Front Side
Wall Side Mounting Bracket and tighten the four
corner screws on the Mounting Bracket Cover
enough to stabilize and hold the overhead. You
will fully tighten this bracket in a later step.

10
Step 18:
View from beneath the overhead
bracket. These bolts are the primary
attachment for the overhead, so make
absolutely sure they are solidly
threaded, and fully tightened.
Step 21:
Secure the diffuser brackets once the
lights are functional and the diffuser
grid has been installed.
15. On the Rear Side of the table, have one person hold and stabilize the overhead,
and another person connect the wire harness from the table to the overhead and
install the Mounting Bracket Cover. Thread all six ¼” Black Bolts using the included
washers and then tighten fully.
16. Install the two hex head bolts through the BOTTOM of the Rear side Wall Side
Mounting bracket. Make sure they thread into the bottom of each tube as these are
the primary attachment for the overhead. If these cross-thread, come loose or are
otherwise not secure, your overhead will not be secure. Fully tighten these bolts.
17. Install the remaining two black bolts into
the Front Side Wall Mounting bracket and you
may now fully tighten all six bolts.
18. Now install the two hex head bolts through
the BOTTOM of the Front side Wall Side
Mounting bracket. Make sure they thread into the
bottom of each tube as these are the primary
attachment for the overhead. Fully tighten these
bolts.
19. You may now reinstall the fluorescent overhead
light bulbs, make sure they are properly seated and lock into place.
20. Apply power to the table. Both bulbs should illuminate immediately. If either or
both bulbs do not illuminate, check to make sure
they are seated to the sockets as described in step
18. If the bulbs still do not illuminate, contact
Valley-Dynamo Tech Support.
21. Reinstall the safety diffuser, secure the diffuser
brackets using the ⅝” Phillips screws and #10 black
washers.
