CONNECT AND OPERATE
1. Connect an HDMI source to the HDMI input of the HDCAPT1
NOTE: The HDCAPT1 is to be used with non-HDCP video content and sources
2. Connect the USB output of the HDCAPT1 to a USB 2.0 port on a
computer
3. Download the Video Capture software
NOTE: Below are instructions and screenshots when using OBS Studio
software. Visit https://obsproject.com/ to download OBS Studio
4. Select VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICE for audio and video within the software
being used

The Vanco HDCAPT1 is a device that allows an HDMI source to be streamed or recorded, resulting in converted content that can be viewed on computers and other
commonly found capture software locally and/or remotely. With today’s changing world of virtual attendance, the HDCAPT1 can be utilized for virtual learning, meetings,
or to stream a worship service for instance. HDMI signals from video recorders, webcams, game consoles, and mobile devices can be converted to be recorded or live
streamed. Easy to install and connect, the HDCAPT1 simply connects HDMI to a source, and USB to a computer with the software available to download from Vanco’s
website. With the ability to accept 4K@30Hz resolution, the HDCAPT1 is a great solution to capture HDMI signals and send to a remote audience, or to record for
playback.

OPERATION STEPS FOR USB VIDEO CAPTURE (OSB):
1. Open and run the correct version of OBS based on your operating system
2. Add new sources, choose Video Capture Device
3. Create or leave the default name of the device, then select USB VIDEO from the device dropdown menu and select OK
