2. Functional specifications.
2.1 Installation.
On the front of the ALFANET TEMPLOGGER 16x Pt1000 and on the connection diagram is
shown how the inputs, power supply and the RS485-network connection should be connected.
After the Controller is connected to the power supply, a self test will be done.
The Controller is adjustable through the ALFANET PC-INTERFACE on the PC.
It is possible to connect a maximum of sixteen ALFANET TEMPLOGGER 16x Pt1000s on the
network. This will make an total of 16 x 16 = 256 sensors.
These modules should have a unique network numbers. This can be adjusted below the
terminal cover by DIP-switches from address: 110 till 125.
2.2 Operation.
From each sensor the measured value is shown on the PC. The refresh rate is at least two time
per minute. When there are big temperature variations, the refresh rate will be higher. It is
possible to adjust a minimum and a maximum alarm for each sensor. If an alarm occurs, there
will be a warning on the pc and the alarm relay from the PC interface will be activated.
It is possible to adjust a time delay for each alarm. The adjusting is per 5 minutes till a maximum
of 300 minutes.
All measured values and alarms are stored in the log from the PC.
