Introduction
Thankyo for p rchasing the Veho MUVI micro DV camcorder.
At Veho we like to do things differently. We s pply prod cts that make a statement and stand o t
from the crowd. Boring is bad and r n of the mill is not in o r dictionary. All o r prod cts are
man fact red to the highest standard and conform to worldwide safety standards.
The MUVI niq e micro design enables digital video recording in sit ations where it may not be
possible to se standard camcorders.
Co pled with the extreme sports mo nting kit the MUVI will allow the ser to capt re high q ality
digital video and so nd footage hands free.

Veho MUVI Operation
1. Charge yo r Veho MUVI by connecting the USB cable to yo r PC/Mac/Notebook or sing an
(optional) Veho USB Adapter and the mini USB jack on the base of the MUVI. While charging
the MUVI LED indicator will display red. Once f lly charged the red LED indicator will t rn off.
2. Insert the micro SD card into the slot on the right side of the MUVI.
3. Power the MUVI on by the switch on the left hand side of the MUVI. If no micro SD card has
been inserted then the LED indicator will flash green q ickly. While the MUVI remains well
charged the indicator remains solid bl e. When the MUVI becomes low on charge the
Indicator flashes bl e slowly.
4. If the MUVI has good charge b t has not been sed in 2 min tes it will switch to standby
mode. If the MUVI has low charge and has not been sed in 2 min tes it will power off
completely.
5. To record man ally once MUVI is powered on press the record b tton on top of MUVI. The
LED indicator will switch from solid bl e to green and flash slowly. If the MUVI is in standby
mode then press record once to re-activate (LED shows bl e) and record again to start
recording (LED flashes green slowly). Press record b tton to stop recording and the MUVI
footage will be saved to SD card as *.avi file.
6. If the LED is solid green then the micro SD card is f ll and yo will need to move yo r MUVI
footage to a PC or connect to PC to delete footage.

7. To se so nd activation mode move so nd activation switch on right hand side MUVI to on
and power switch on left hand side to on. When MUVI recognizes so nd of more than 65
decibels it starts recording. If MUVI recognizes no f rther so nd greater than 65 decibel for 2
min tes it will save MUVI files and enter standby mode. When in standby if so nd of greater
than 65 decibels is recognized again the MUVI will enter recording mode again.
8. To transfer MUVI footage to yo r PC connect via USB mini jack to PC USB port. Ens re power
is on and so nd activation is off. The MUVI will be recognized as a USB mass storage drive.
Drill into the drive and view/move/copy/delete the MUVI footage as yo please.
Important Information
1. If while in recording mode the power b tton is switched to off, the MUVI footage for that
recording session will not be saved.
2. D ring long recording sessions the MUVI will a tomatically save a file of 800mb every 30
min tes of recording.
3. While connected to the PC the LED indicator will show red for charge b t the MUVI is also
capable of record, standby and file transfer operations.

Setting MUVI Pro Date and Time

Software Installation
1. Insert disc and select 'Driver installation'
2. Select 'Create Desktop Shortc t' or 'Add to Start Men ' - m st select one or both otherwise
yo can't access MD Playback and Set Time
3. Select 'English', then next for all options ntil final window and then select 'Install' and then
'Finish'
Setting Date and Time
1. With M vi Pro connected Do ble click 'Set Time' short c t on desktop or select from Start
Men
2. 'Update Time' box appears.
3. Select browse and choose removable disk (M vi Pro)
4. Select pdate and following message sho ld appear:
Device Time pdate completely, please disconnect from PC and restart the device immediately in
order to synchronize the time with the comp ter.
Time is synched with the comp ter's time.

Using the MUVI as a Webcam/PC Camera
As well as micro recording device it is possible to se the MUVI micro DV camcorder as a web-
cam/PC camera. Please se the following instr ctions.

1. Install the MUVI camera drivers from the software CD s pplied.
2. Connect the MUVI to the PC sing the USB cable provided.
3. Switch MUVI power switch to on and so nd activation switch to on.
4. The PC will recognize the MUVI as a PC camera now.

Funzionamento di Veho MUVI
1. Caricate Veho MUVI collegando il caricatore di alimentazione mini USB o il cavo USB al PC e il
jack mini USB s lla base di MUVI. Mentre è in carica l'indicatore LED s MUVI si ill mina di
rosso. Una volta caricata completamente il LED si spegne.
2. Inserite la scheda micro SD nello slot s l lato destro di MUVI.
3. Accendete MUVI premendo l'interr ttore s l lato sinistro di MUVI. Se non è stata inserita
alc na scheda micro SD l'indicatore LED verde lampeggerà rapidamente. Mentre MUVI resta
ben carica l'indicatore rimane bl . Q ando MUVI comincia a scaricarsi l'indicatore bl
lampeggia lentamente.
4. Se MUVI è stata caricata perfettamente ma non viene tilizzata per 2 min ti passerà alla
modalità standby. Se invece è scarica e non viene tilizzata per 2 min ti si spegne
completamente.
5. Per procedere alla registrazione man ale na volta che MUVI è accesa, premete il p lsante di
registrazione s lla parte s periore. L'indicatore LED passerà dal bl fisso al verde
lampeggiante, con n ritmo lento. Se MUVI si trova in modalità standby, premete il p lsante
di registrazione na volta per riattivarla (il LED è bl ) e avviare di n ovo la registrazione (il
LED diventa verde e lampeggia lentamente). Premete il p lsante di registrazione per
interrompere la registrazione e il filmato verrà salvato nella scheda SD come file *.avi.
6. Se il LED è verde fisso la scheda micro SD è piena e dovrete spostare il vostro filmato s n
PC o collegarvi al PC per eliminarlo.

7. Per tilizzare la modalità di attivazione dell'a dio, spostate il relativo interr ttore collocato s l
lato destro di MUVI, s ON e fate lo stesso con l'interr ttore di alimentazione presente s l lato
sinistro. Q ando MUVI riconosce n a dio s periore a 65 decibel avvia la registrazione. Se
MUVI per 2 min ti non rileva n a dio s periore ai 65 decibel salverà i file MUVI ed entrerà in
modalità standby. Q ando è in modalità standby, se rileva n a dio s periore ai 65 decibel
passa di n ovo alla modalità di registrazione.
8. Per trasferire il filmato MUVI s l PC, collegate il mini jack USB alla porta USB del PC.
Assic ratevi che l'alimentazione sia accesa e l'attivazione dell'a dio sia spenta. MUVI verrà
rilevata come n' nità di archiviazione di massa USB. Accedete all' nità e vis alizzate/
spostate/copiate/eliminate il filmato MUVI secondo le vostre esigenze.
Informazioni Importanti
1. Se mentre siete in modalità di registrazione il p lsante di alimentazione viene spostato s
OFF, il filmato MUVI per la sessione di registrazione in q estione non verrà salvato.
2. D rante l nghe sessioni di registrazione MUVI salverà a tomaticamente n file di 800 MB ogni
30 min ti di registrazione.
3. Mentre si è connessi al PC l'indicatore LED sarà rosso per la carica in corso ma MUVI è anche
in grado di eseg ire operazioni q ali la registrazione, il trasferimento dei file e il passaggio alla
modalità standby.
