splashing and dripping liquids.
•Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before
actually using it.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
Damage caused by user modifications to the device is not
covered by the warranty.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device
in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
•Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not

4. Features

5. Operation
Recording
•Point the camera [1] towards the field of interest.
•Press the control button [5] once. The status LED [4] turns on
orange to indicate that the device is ready.
•Press the control button [5] again. The status LED [4] turns on
blue to indicate that the device is recording. The recorded format
is .AVI.
•Press the control button [5] again to stop recording. The LED [4]
turns orange again. Note that this might take a few seconds.
•Press and hold the control button [5] for ±3s to switch the
device off.
Play back
•Hold the camera part of the device and turn the pen part counter
clockwise.
•Insert the USB connector [3] into a USB port of a computer (not
incl.). When necessary, use the included USB extension cable.
•The status LED [4] will light up orange and the device will now
act as a regular USB memory stick. Copy, open or delete the
recordings as you would with other files on your computer
system.
Charging
•The battery charges when the device is connected to a powered
USB port.
Reset
•When the device does not react anymore, use a small pin (e.g. a
paper clip) to gently press the reset-button [6].
6. Battery
•This recorder contains an internal rechargeable battery. When the
device is end-of-life, this battery has to be removed.

•Wear sufficient and appropriate protection (goggles, gloves, …)
when breaking the housing.

Dispose of batteries in accordance with local
regulations. Keep batteries away from children.

1. Inleiding
Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie
Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan
dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit
toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit
toestel (en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone
huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd
bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw
verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de

2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Houd buiten het bereik van kinderen en onbevoegden.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman®service- en kwaliteitsgarantie
achteraan de handleiding.
•Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de
bediening.
•Bescherm tegen extreme temperaturen en stof.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel binnenshuis.Bescherm tegen regen,
vochtigheid en opspattende vloeistoffen.
•Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht valt
niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Bij
onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van
bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de

hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Installeer en gebruik deze camera niet voor illegale praktijken en
respecteer ieders privacy.
4. Eigenschappen

5. Gebruik
Opname
•Richt de camera [1].
•Druk eenmaal op het knopje [5]. De oranje statusled [4] licht op
om aan te geven dat de camera klaar is om op te nemen.
•Druk het knopje [5] opnieuw in. De blauwe statusled [4] licht op
om aan te geven dat de opname (AVI) is begonnen.
•Druk het knopje [5] een derde keer in om de opname stil te
leggen. De oranje statusled [4] licht opnieuw op. Dit kan enkel
seconden duren.
•Houd het knopje [5] gedurende ±3 seconden ingedrukt om de
camera uit te schakelen.
Afspelen
•Draai de bovenste helft van de los.
•Steek de USB-stekker [3] in de USB-poort van uw pc. Gebruik de
meegeleverde verlengkabel indien nodig.
•De oranje statusled [4] licht op. U kunt de ballpoint nu gebruiken
als een USB-stick en bestanden kopiëren, openen en verwijderen.
Herladen
•Steek de ballpoint in een USB-aansluiting om de batterij te
herladen.
Resetten
•Reset de ballpoint door de resetknop [6] met een klein voorwerp
(bv. een paperclip) zachtjes in te drukken.

6. De batterij
•Deze recorder bevat een herlaadbare batterij. Verwijder deze
batterij aan het einde van de levenscyclus van de recorder.
•Draag beschermende kleding wanneer u de behuizing opent.
WAARSCHUWING: Houd de batterij buiten het bereik
van kinderen.

5. Emploi
Enregistrement
•Pointer la caméra [1].
•Enfoncer le bouton [5]. La DEL d’état [4] s’allume en orange
pour indiquer que l’appareil est prêt à enregistrer.
•Renfoncer le bouton [5]. La DEL d’état [4] s’allume en bleu pour
indiquer un enregistrement en cours (format AVI).
•Renfoncer le bouton [5] une troisième fois pour arrêter
l’enregistrement. La DEL [4] s’allume en orange après quelques
secondes.
•Éteindre l’appareil en maintenant enfoncé le bouton [5] pendant
± 3 secondes.
Lecture de l’enregistrement
•Désolidariser la partie supérieure du stylo.
•Insérer la fiche USB [3] dans un port USB. Utiliser le câble USB
inclus si nécessaire.
•La DEL [4] s’allume en orange. Le stylo peut être utilisé comme
une clef USB et les fichiers peuvent être ouverts, copiés ou
effacés.
Recharge
•Insérer la fiche dans un port USB.
Réinitialisation
•Enfoncer le bouton de réinitialisation [6] à l’aide d’un trombone.
