1. Introduction

3. General Guidelines
•Refer to the Velleman®Service and Quality Warranty on the
last pages of this manual.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety
reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device
is not covered by the warranty.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the
device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
•Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will
not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or
problems.
•Nor Velleman nv nor its dealers can be held responsible for
any damage (extraordinary, incidental or indirect) –of any
nature (financial, physical…) arising from the possession,
use or failure of this product.
•Keep this manual for future reference.
4. Installation
•Install the device in a nice clean and dry environment.
•Before connecting the device to the power supply, fully turn
down all the knobs and faders to minimum, except for the
channel EQ and pan controls, which should be centred. Also,
make sure all buttons are in the out position.
•Next, connect all necessary cables, input devices
(microphones…) and output devices (amplifier, speakers…).

Press this button to select the music source.

Select the input with this switch.
8. Gain
Adjust the channel master volume.
9. High
Increase or reduce the highs for channel 1 or 2.
10. Low
Increase or reduce the lows for channel 1 or 2.
11. MIC Level
Adjust the microphone volume level.
12. Master Volume
Adjust the level of the master output.
13. Phone Volume
Adjust the level of the headphones signal.
14. Crossfader
Mix the signal of one channel with the signal of the other. If
the crossfader is on the centre position, both channels can
be heard.
15. Line Inputs Channel 1
RCA connectors for channel 1. Connect a turntable, rhythm
machine or sampler to the phono socket, connect a CD/MP3
player to the line socket.
16. Line Inputs Channel 2
RCA connectors for channel 2. Connect a turntable, rhythm
machine or sampler to the phono socket, connect a CD/MP3
player to the line socket.
17. Master Output
RCA connection to the main amplifier.
18. DC Connection
Plug the adapter into this input.

6. Care and Maintenance
Before starting any cleaning or maintenance activities:
1. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
2. Let the appliance cool down.
Cleaning
•Wipe all exterior surfaces of the appliance clean with a soft
cloth dampened with a soap and water solution. Do not
immerse or submerge any part of the appliance in water or
any other liquid. Never use solvents or cleaning agents
containing petroleum (petrol, kerosene, oil), paint thinner,
turpentine, alcohol, or ammonia.
Maintenance
•Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way,
such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has been dropped.
Storage
•Store the appliance and its accessories in the original
package in a clean and dry area.

1. Inleiding
Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie
Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als
het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade
kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij
een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet
dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Lees en begrijp deze handleiding en de veiligheidsinstructies
vóór ingebruikname.
Enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis!
Opgelet –Vermijd het langdurig luisteren aan een hoog
volumeniveau.
De bliksemschicht met pijlpunt in een driehoek waarschuwt de
gebruiker voor de aanwezigheid van niet-geïsoleerde gevaarlijke
spanning in de behuizing van het systeem, die zo hoog kan zijn
dat er een risico van elektrische schokken bestaat.
Het uitroepteken in een driehoek, zoals afgebeeld op het
systeem, is bedoeld om de gebruiker attent te maken op
belangrijke bedienings- en onderhoudsinstructies in deze
gebruikershandleiding.

WAARSCHUWING
ELEKTROCUTIEGEVAAR. NIET OPENEN.
Opgelet –Om het risico op elektrische schokken te vermijden,
mag u de dekplaat (of achterkant) niet verwijderen.
Er zijn geen vervangbare onderdelen in dit toestel. Laat het
onderhoud over aan een vakman.
Stel dit product niet bloot aan regen of vocht om het risico op
brand of elektrische schokken te voorkomen.
•Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf
8 jaar, door personen met fysieke, zintuiglijke of
verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder
toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe
zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn van de
risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich meebrengt.
Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen. De reiniging en

•WAARSCHUWING - Gebruik het toestel niet in de
onmiddellijke nabijheid van een bad, een douche of een
zwembad.
•Zorg ervoor dat niemand op de kabel kan stappen of erover
kan struikelen, bij de stekker, het stopcontact en het punt
waar de kabel uit het toestel gaat.
•Ontkoppel het toestel tijdens onweer of als het gedurende
een lange periode niet wordt gebruikt.
•Stel dit toestel niet bloot aan regen of vocht om het risico op
brand of elektrische schokken te voorkomen.
•Dit toestel mag niet worden blootgesteld aan druipende of
spattende vloeistoffen en objecten die gevuld zijn met water
(zoals vazen) mogen niet op de apparatuur worden
geplaatst.

•De netstekker, connector of voedingsadapter worden
gebruikt als stroomonderbreker, dus dient deze
stroomonderbreker gemakkelijk te bedienen zijn.
•Het langdurig luisteren naar harde geluiden kan permanent
gehoorverlies veroorzaken. De gevoeligheid voor
gehoorverlies door lawaai varieert van persoon tot persoon,
maar het gehoor wordt tot op zekere hoogte beschadigd
door iedereen die in de loop van de tijd aan voldoende
lawaai wordt blootgesteld.
•Als het toestel niet correct functioneert, schakel het
onmiddellijk uit.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
•Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie
achteraan deze handleiding.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht
aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De
garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van
bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen
die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Noch Velleman nv noch zijn verdelers kunnen aansprakelijk
gesteld worden voor schade (buitengewoon, incidenteel of
onrechtstreeks) –van welke aard dan ook (financieel,
fysisch…) voortvloeiend uit het bezit, gebruik of falen van dit
product.
•Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.
4. Installatie
•Installeer het toestel in een propere en droge omgeving.
•Voordat u de voeding aansluit, draai alle knoppen en faders
naar het laagste niveau, behalve de kanaalequalizer en
panregelingen moeten in het midden staan. Zorg er ook
voor dat alle knoppen in de out-positie staan.
•Sluit vervolgens alle noodzakelijke kabels, invoerapparaten
(microfoons...) en uitvoerapparaten (versterker,
luidsprekers...) aan.

Druk op deze knop om de geluidsbron te selecteren.

Selecteer de ingang met deze schakelaar.

Stelt het volume van het master kanaal in.
9. Hoog
Verhoogt of vermindert de hoge tonen van kanaal 1 of 2.
10. Laag
Verhoogt of vermindert de lage tonen van kanaal 1 of 2.
11. MIC Level
Stelt het volume van uw microfoon in.
12. Master Volume
Stelt het niveau van de master uitgang in.
13. Phono Volume
Stelt het niveau in de koptelefoon in.
14. Crossfader
Mengt de signalen van de twee kanalen. In de middenpositie
zijn beide kanalen hoorbaar.
15. Line-ingangen Kanaal 1
RCA-connectoren voor kanaal 1. Gebruik de phono-
ingangsconnector om een mengtafel, ritmemachine of
sampler aan te sluiten. Gebruik de line-connector om een
cd/mp3-speler aan te sluiten.
16. Line-ingangen Kanaal 2
RCA-connectoren voor kanaal 2. Gebruik de phono-
ingangsconnector om een mengtafel, ritmemachine of
sampler aan te sluiten. Gebruik de line-connector om een
cd/mp3-speler aan te sluiten.
17. Master uitgang
RCA-aansluiting naar de hoofdversterker.
18. DC-aansluiting
Sluit de adapter aan op deze uitgang.
19. MIC-ingang
Aansluiting voor uw microfoon met 1/4" jack.
20. Koptelefoonaansluiting
Aansluiting voor uw koptelefoon.

6. Reiniging en onderhoud
Voor het reinigen of onderhoud:
1. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Laat het toestel afkoelen.
Reiniging
•Reinig de behuizing met een zachte doek die licht
bevochtigd is met een milde zeepoplossing. Dompel het
toestel nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen. Gebruik
nooit oplosmiddelen of reinigingsmiddelen die petroleum
(benzine, kerosine, olie), verfverdunner, wasbenzine,
alcohol of ammoniak bevatten.
Onderhoud
•Laat het toestel herstellen door een vakman. Onderhoud is
vereist wanneer het toestel beschadigd is, zoals bijvoorbeeld
het netsnoer of de stekker, wanneer er vloeistof of een
voorwerp in het toestel is terechtgekomen, wanneer het
toestel is blootgesteld aan regen of vocht, als het niet
correct functioneert of is gevallen.

•Bewaar het toestel in de oorspronkelijke verpakking op een
droge en propere plaats.

AVERTISSEMENT

Attention - Pour réduire le risque de décharge électrique, ne pas
retirer le couvercle (ou le panneau arrière).
L'appareil ne contient aucune pièce maintenable par l’utilisateur.
L'entretien doit être effectué par un technicien qualifié.
Pour éviter tout risque d'incendie ou d'électrocution, ne pas
exposer ce produit à la pluie ou à l'humidité.
•Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans
et plus et des personnes manquant d’expérience et de
connaissances ou dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales sont réduites, si elles ont été formées et
encadrées quant à l'utilisation de l'appareil d'une manière
sûre et connaissent les risques encourus. Ne pas laisser les
enfants jouer avec l'appareil. Le nettoyage et l'entretien ne

impropre annule d'office la garantie.

négligeant certaines directives de ce mode d'emploi et votre
revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes
et les défauts qui en résultent.

indirects, quelles que soient la nature (financière,

4. Installation
•Installer l'appareil dans un environnement propre et sec.
•Avant de connecter l'alimentation, mettre au minimum tous
les boutons et les faders, sauf l'égaliseur de canal et le
panoramique doivent être en position centrale. S'assurer
également que tous les boutons sont en position 'out'.

1. Entrée
Appuyer sur ce bouton pour sélectionner la source sonore.

Lire/pauser le titre sélectionné.

Sélectionner le titre précédent.

6. Entrée USB
Entrée pour une clé USB.
7. Commutateur Line/USB
Permet de sélectionner l'entrée.
8. Gain
Régler le volume du canal maître.
9. High
Augmenter ou diminuer les hautes fréquences du canal 1 ou
2.
10. Low
Augmenter ou diminuer les basses fréquences du canal 1 ou
2.
11. Niveau Micro
Régler le volume du microphone.
12. Volume maître
Régler le niveau de la sortie maître.
13. Niveau Casque
Ajuste le niveau sonore dans le casque.
14. Crossfader
Mélanger les signaux des deux canaux. En position centrale,
les deux canaux sont audibles.
15. Entrées Line canal 1
Connecteurs RCA pour canal 1. Utiliser l’entrée phono pour
connecter des platines-disques, des machines à rythme ou
des échantillonneurs. Utiliser l'entrée line pour connecter un
lecteur CD/MP.
16. Entrées Line Canal 2
Connecteurs RCA pour canal 2. Utiliser l’entrée phono pour
connecter des platines-disques, des machines à rythme ou
des échantillonneurs. Utiliser l'entrée line pour connecter un
lecteur CD/MP.
17. Sortie maître
Connexion RCA vers l'amplificateur principal.

Brancher l'adaptateur sur cette sortie.

Connexion pour votre microphone muni d'une fiche jack
1/4".
20. Prise casque
Connexion pour votre casque d'écoute.
6. Entretien
Avant tout nettoyage ou entretien :
1. Débrancher l'appareil.
2. Laisser refroidir l'appareil.
Nettoyage
•Nettoyer le boîtier de l'appareil avec un chiffon doux
imprégné d'un détergent doux. Ne jamais immerger
l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide. Ne jamais utiliser
de solvants ou de détergents contenant du pétrole (essence,
kérosène, huile), diluant, térébenthine, alcool ou
ammoniaque.
Entretien
•L'entretien doit uniquement être effectué par un technicien
qualifié. Un entretien est nécessaire lorsque l'appareil a été
endommagé d'une quelconque façon telle qu'un cordon
d'alimentation ou une prise endommagés, lorsqu'un liquide a
été renversé ou des liquides ont été introduits dans
l'appareil, lorsque l'appareil a été exposé à la pluie ou à
l'humidité, lorsqu'il ne fonctionne pas correctement ou
lorsque l'appareil est tombé.
Stockage
•Ranger l'appareil et ses accessoires dans l'emballage
d'origine et dans un endroit propre et sec.
