This motor has a 14V DC built-in rechargeable battery pack with an
integrated charge management. Max input voltage: 5VDC/2A
Please charge the motor before using for first time, make sure it is
fully charged before first use.
Please do not use motor when charging.
Four leds located on the battery body will provide information about
the battery level (1 led = 25%, 2 leds = 50%, 3 leds = 75%, 4 leds = 100%).
LEDs will turn on when you press the button near to them.

In addition to the individual channels, it is also possible in these
remotes to program up to 6 channel groups, which enable
multiple channels to operate simultaneously. When you are in a
channel group the icon is shown on the display.

Setting Bidirectional/Unidirectional mode on the remote
The following procedure activate or deactivate the bidirectional function on the remote. When the
bidirectional mode is activated, the icon will be shown on the display and the remote can’t be paired with
unidirectional motors. Please note the remote can be compatible with bidirectional or unidirecional motors
but not with both at the same time. Unidirectional and bidirectional motors can not be paired with the
same remote.
Please check if you have a bidirectional or unidirectional motor and set the remote accordingly.
Only the following models can be compatible with bidirectional or unidirectional motors. 6-800-AT-CHB02,
6-800-AT-CHB06, 6-800-AT-ESBT6, 6-800-AT-ESB16

Pairing the Motor with the Remote
*Make sure you are not in a group channel.
You are in a group channel when all the leds are light on or the display show the number 0 for models without display.
For models with display you are in a group channel when the icon is shown on the display.

Setting the Limits automatically
1. Once the motor is paired on the desired channel, press UP or DOWN button to make the motor run
until it reaches and auto set the first limit. Then, the motor will run in the opposite direction until it
reachs and auto-adjust the second limit. Finally the motor will go back to the original position.
Note: Please do not stop the motor until complete the sequence described on the step number 1.
Move the shade manually by pulling the fabric and make sure the current curtain position is
not any of the desired limits.
The following procedure apply to one way and center open installation.

By default, the motors are set to be installed on the right side. If required, please reverse their direction.
1. Select the channel where the motor is paired and press the UP and DOWN buttons at the
same time for about 6 seconds until the shade goes back and forth once. The motor will

track. Move the shade manually by pulling the fabric and make sure it is not in any of the
desired limit position before adjust the limits.
The following procedure apply to one way and center open installation.

the curtain goes back and forth.

Turn ON/OFF automatic operation by pulling the fabric.
Select the desired channel on the remote remote control.
Press P button on the remote until the motor goes back and forth.
Press STOP button on the remote until the motor goes back and forth again.
Press STOP button again until the motor goes back and forth once again.
Favorite position can only be set if the lower and upper limits were previously set. Press the Favorite
Button to move the shade up to the favorite position once it is set.

Repeat the same procedure to activate or deactivate the automatic operation of the motor
by pulling the fabric.

Adjusting the Motor Speed
Press the P button on the back of the remote until the shade goes back and forth once.
Press the STOP button until the shade goes back and forth once.

Increasing the Motor Speed
Within 3 seconds of Step 2, press the UP button. The shade will jog and the motor will
increase its speed. If the shade does not go back and forth, the maximum speed
is already set.

There are 3 speeds to choose from: Slow, Medium, and Fast. The higher the speed, the louder the motor.
The default motor speed is the medium speed.
Decreasing the Motor Speed
Within 3 seconds of Step 2, press the DOWN button. The shade will jog and the motor will
decrease its speed. If the shade does not go back and forth, the lowest
speed was already set.

Setting the motor in smart connection mode
Download the VTi HomeMate+ app on AppStore or Google Play and follow the steps in the app until it
ask you to set the motor in smart connection mode. Then, follow the procedure below. Refer to VTi
RE-LION SmartHub PLUS user manual for more details.

Press and Hold the H button on the motor head for 16 seconds until the motor goes back and
forth four times, then release it. All the motor settings will be deleted.

Led no.6 will turn solid orange when you press any button.
Models with Display
The battery icon will be shown on the display when you press any button.

The remote shows a notification when its battery is below 2.7V DC
Moving the Shade to a Percentage Opening
Hiding the Unused Channels
The following functions are only available for Bidirectional Motors and Remotes with
Display. Applies to models: 6-800-AT-ESB16 & 6-800-AT-ESBT6
Make sure you are not in a channel group before the step no.1.
100% Shade completely close. 0% Shade completely open.
Only the desired quantity channels will be visible. Repeat the same procedure to set a new
quantity of active channels.
Press and hold for about 5 secons the RIGHT (>) button and the FAV button together until
the display shows C 16 (for a 16 channel remote) or C6 (for 6 channel remote).
Press the RIGHT button ( > ) to scroll through the desired quantity channels.
Press the STOP button when you see the desired number of channels you wish to keep
displayed on the remote. All others will be hidden.

Select the desired channel and press the FAV button for 3 seconds (The screen will show
50%).
Press the select channel buttons ( < / > ) to change from 50% to the desired percentage in
10 percent increments. Then, wait 3 seconds. The shade(s) will move to the chosen
percentage position.

Adding Channels to Groups
Select the Group Number you would like to set.
Press and hold the RIGHT ( > ) and FAV button together until the screen shows G1 if you
are in Group 1, G2 if you are in Group 2, etc.
Press the RIGHT ( > ) and FAV button. C 1 will be flashing. If you want to add C 1 in the
group, press FAV button. C 1 will no longer be flashing meaning it has been added to the
group selected.
Use the LEFT/RIGHT ( < / > ) buttons to move to the next Channel (C2). If you want C2 in
the Group, press FAV button.
Continue with Steps 3 and 4 until you have selected all the Channels you would like to add
on the group selected.
Press STOP button. Display will show “OK”.

Checking the Battery Charge Level of the Motor
A lock icon is displayed on the screen when the lock mode has been set. Under this mode,
dual-button operation is not allowed and the motor configuration can not be modified. This function
should be set once the motor programming is completed to avoid any unwanted configuration change.
Repeat the same procedure to unlock the setting function.
The battery icon on the screen shows bars. 4 bars (1 bar = 25%, 2 bars = 50%, 3 bars = 75%, 4 bars = 100%).
Apply only to battery models.

Only the desired quantity of groups will be visible. Repeat the same procedure to set a new
quantity of active groups.

Select the Group Number you would like to check.
Press and hold the RIGHT ( > ) and FAV button together until the group icon blinks.
Press RIGHT(>) button to check the channels included in the group. Those channels that
are solid are included in the group; those blinking are not.
Press STOP button to exit. Display will show “EC” if there is no channels in the group.
Select the Channel 0 (if you have a 16 ch remote) or select all channels (if you have a 6 ch remote).
Press and hold for about 5 seconds the RIGHT ( > ) and FAV button together until the screen
shows “G 06”.
Press the RIGHT ( > ) button to scroll through the groups un to the desired number of groups.
Press the STOP button when you see the desired number of Groups. Display will show “OK”.

Press the STOP button for 6 seconds. A battery and shade icon will show on the screen.
The Bidirectional icon will blink and the battery level percentage will show on the screen
in increments of 10%.
