Completing the following 1~3 steps to assemble the long C Channel beam. 2pcs
connecting beam design needed only! The whole beam design can ignore the
assembly steps on this page.
Step 1, Align the holes at the center of the 2pcs C Channel beams as seen in the
illustration (8ft size only).
Step 2, Using 4pcs M6x16 Hex bolts, 4pcs Hex nut and 4pcs Washer, assemble the C
Channel beam together on the outermost
Holes as seen in the following picture.
(Tips: to avoid alignment issues, place the remaining 2pcs M6 x 16 Hex bolts in the
center holes, as these will be used for the center suppo in a later step.)
Step 3, Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the remaining C Channel beams.
Pre-Assenbly

07
To punch holes on the ceiling more quickly and accurately, we have thoughtfully
designed the ceiling drilling positioning paper(included in the package). If necessa,
please follow the steps below:
1. First, nd the beam position on the ceiling, stick one of the long beam positioning
paper on the ceiling with double-sided tape, ensure that the two black lines at both
ends are on the beam or across the two beams, and the positioning paper is not
bent or sagging.
2. Then align the edges of the two sho beam positioning papers with the two ends
of the long beam positioning papers, and stick them on the ceiling perpendicular to
the long beam positioning papers.
Assenbly

08
3. Next, align the two ends of the last long beam positioning paper with the edge of
the sho beam positioning paper respectively, and stick it on the ceiling parallel to
the rst long beam positioning paper.
Ceiling drilling positioning paper: rst stick the positioning paper on the appropriate position of the ceiling
(diagram shown at right),and then drill holes according to the marked position and requirements. ① ② ③ ④
Drill 2 holes on the black line, making sure they are on either side of the red line

4. After pasting, drill holes on the black lines at both ends of the long beam
positioning paper.
1) make sure the hole is punched on the beam.
2) There are 2 holes at both ends of each long beam positioning paper, a total of 4
holes.
3) Two holes at each end of the long beam positioning paper, one for each with the
red line as the center, and the spacing is about 20 inches.
09
5. Finally, all the holes are nished, install the ceiling bracket before installing the
column. When installing the column, align the left (right) edge of the column with
the red line and x it on the bracket.

6. Adjust the length of the Veical Post to the desired distance from the ceiling.
Ensure the lower section of the veical post is placed on the inside of the two post
pieces. All posts are adjusted to the exact same length.
Secure the post together using 2pcs Hex Bolt M8x16, 2pcs Hex Nut and 4pcs
Washer. Make sure one bolt and nut assembly on each face of the veical posts. ( As
following drawing B)
Repeat this step for the remaining posts.
Using a single Hex Bolt M8X16 with 2 pcs Washers (one on each
side ) and lpc Hex Nut, connect the rst veical post assembly to
the ceiling bracket that was installed in the previous step.
Notes:
*For now, leave the veical posts slight loose on the ceiling
bracket so that they can move back and foh during the next
step. They will be tightened down in the upcoming steps.
*When installing the veical posts to ceiling brackets that are in
line, ensure that the veical posts are in-line, ensure that the
veical posts are 48" or 96" apa (depending on the orientation
of the rack)
10

11
ALWAYS install the veical posts
between the Lag screws in the ceiling
bracket.
DO NOT attach the veical posts
outside of the lag screws in
cantilevered fashion.
WARNING
If you install the ceiling bracket &
veical posts as the left drawing, the
ceiling brackets will bend, causing
your storage items to fall to the oor.

12
7. Place the rivets of the Side beams in the bottom 2 holes of the veical posts.
Ensure the side beams are on the inside of the veical posts. Use a rubber mallet to
hammer the rivets into the bottom of the teardrop holes.
8. Finish with installation of the other left Beams.
WARNING: Opposite ends may come loose when hammering beams into place.

13
9. A: Connect Center suppo to C channel beams by using 2pcs Hex Bolt M6xl6,
2pcs Hex Nut and 2pcs Washer. Repeat this step to the opposite of Center suppo
(4pcs C Channel beam design only).
*Fully tighten the bolts.
B: Place the center suppo to the rivets on C channel beam. Hammer it gently to the
top of the teardrop holes on the center suppo.

*Once the center suppo is installed, go back and tighten the veical posts to the
ceiling brackets.
10. Install and x the two ends of the diagonal brace on the holes of the ceiling
bracket and the veical post respectively (as seen in the picture). There are 4
diagonal braces in total. Installation requirements:
1) The angle between the diagonal brace and the ceiling bracket should be as close
as possible to 45°.
2) It is recommended to install the diagonal brace on the outside of the rack.
3) Bolts need to be tightened.
14

11. Take the Wire Decking unit and place them on the rack one by one.
*Look at the ceiling brackets and Lag screws to make sure that they have not pulled
out during the beam seating process.
If they have, it is an indication that the Lag screws may not be in the center of the
ceiling joist, or that they were not fully tightened when installed.
*Finally, check all the Nut and bolt connections on the veical posts and ceiling
brackets to ensure that evething is tight.
*Congratulations! You are now ready to load your rack and enjoy the extra space
that you have created.
