GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION FOR POWER TOOLS
Keep all safety information and instructions for future use.
The term "power tool" used in the safety information refers to mains-fed power tools (with power cable)
or batte-operated power tools (without power cable).
a) Keep your work area clean and well illuminated. Untidy or badly illuminated work areas can lead to
accidents.
b) Do not work with the power tool in potentially explosive environments in which there are
combustible liquids, gases ,or dust. Power tools generate sparks which could ignite dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and other persons away while using the power tool. Distractions can lead to loss of
control of the power tool.
1. Workplace safety
a) The power tool connecting plug must t into the socket. The plug must not be modied in any way.
Do not use adapter plugs in combination with power with protective eah. Unmodied plugs
and suitable sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with grounded suaces such as pipes, heaters, ovens。 and fridges. When your
body is eahed, the risk of electric shock increases.
c) Keep power tools away from rain or moisture. The penetration of water into a power tool increases
the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not misuse the connecting cable to car or hang up the power tool or use it to pull the plug out
of the socket. Keep the connecting cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges ,and moving pas.
Damaged or tangled connecting cables increase the risk of electric shock.
e) If you are working outdoors with a power tool, only use extension cables which are suitable for
outdoor use. Using an extension cable that is suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating the electric tool in a humid environment is unavoidable, use a fault-current circuit breaker.
Using a fault-current circuit breaker reduces the risk of electric shock.
2. Electrical Safety
WARNING Read all of the safety information, instructions, illustrations and technical data
which is provided with this power tool.
Failure to comply with the following instructions can cause electric shocks, res and/or serious injuries.
02
a) Pay attention, watch what you are doing, and work sensibly with a power tool. Do not use an electric
tool if you are tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of carelessness
when using the power tool can result in serious injuries.
b) Wear personal protective equipment, and always wear protective goggles. Depending on the type
and use of the power tool, wearing personal protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-slip
safety shoes, a hard hat or hearing protection reduces the risk of injuries.
3. Safety of persons

03
a) The batteries can only be charged with the chargers that are recommended by the manufacturer. A
charger suitable for a ceain type of batte represents a re hazard if it is used with other batteries.
5. Use and handling of the batte tool
a) Do not overload the power tool. Use the power tool that is intended for your work. Within the
specied peormance range, the use of the appropriate power tools can be better and safer work.
b) Do not use a power tool with a defective switch. A power tool that can no longer be switched on or
o is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Pull the plug out of the socket and / or remove a removable batte before changing the device
settings, replacing pas or putting the power tool away. This precautiona measure prevents the
power tool from staing up unintentionally.
d) Keep unused power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons to use the power tool
who are unfamiliar with it or have not read this manual. It is dangerous for an inexperienced person
to use power tools.
e) Keep power tools and the inseion tool with care. Check whether the moving pas can work
normally, whether there is jamming phenomenon, whether there is any pa damage or serious
damage, aecting the function of the power tool. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are
less likely to jam, and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories, inseion tools etc. in accordance with these instructions. Take the
working conditions and the work to be carried out into account. The use of power tools for
applications other than those for which they are intended can lead to hazardous situations.
h) Keep the handles and gripping suaces d, clean and free of oil and grease. If the handle and
clamping suace of the power tool are slippe, the power tool cannot be safely operated and
controlled under unforeseen circumstances.
4. Use and handling of the power tool
c) Avoid unintentional sta-ups. Make sure that the power tool is switched o before connecting it to
the power supply and/or the batte, picking it up or caring it. If you have your nger on the
switch when caring the power tool or connect to the power supply with the power tool switched
on, this can lead to accidents.
d) Remove any adjustment tools or wrenches before switching on the power tool. A tool or wrench that
is in a rotating pa of the power tool can cause injuries.
e) Avoid abnormal postures. Ensure you have a rm footing, and keep your balance at all times.
This gives you better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelle. Keep hair and clothing away from
moving pas. Loose clothing, jewelle or long hair can become caught in moving pas.
g) If dust extraction and collection devices can be tted, they must be connected and used properly.
Using a dust extractor can reduce hazards caused by dust.
h) Do not be lulled into a false sense of security and ignore the safety rules for power tools, even if you
use them regularly and are familiar with them. Careless behavior can lead to serious inju in a
fraction of a second.

b) Only use the batteries provided for this purpose in the power tools. The use of other batteries can
lead to injuries and re hazards.
c) Keep the unused batteries away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, and other small metallic
objects which could cause bridging of the contacts. A sho circuit between the batte contacts can
result in burns or re.
d) If used improperly, liquid will leak out from the batte. Avoid contact with liquids. In case of
accidental contact, rinse with water. If uid gets in the eye, seek medical attention immediately.
Leaking batte uid can cause skin irritation or burns.
e) Do not use damaged or modied batteries. Damaged or modied batteries can behave unpredictably
and lead to re, explosion or risk of inju.
f) Do not expose a batte to re or excessive temperatures. Fire or temperatures above 130 ℃ can
cause an explosion.
g) Follow all of the charging instructions, and never charge the batte or the cordless tool outside of
the temperature range specied in the operating manual. Improper charging or charging outside the
permitted temperature range can destroy the batte and increase the risk of re.

Safety instructions for polishing machines:

05
• Always check that the mains voltage matches the voltage specied on the rating plate of the power tool.
• Remove the batte from the machine before making any adjustments, changing the polishing pad or
putting the machine away again.
Electrical safety:
• Maintenance work on the machine may only be carried out in a specialist workshop, otherwise there is
a risk of inju.
Seice:
1. Only charge the 12V batte with the supplied charger, otherwise the batte may become damaged
and lead to a risk of inju and re.
2. Do not charge the batte if the temperature is lower than 4 ℃ or higher than 40 ℃.

Ambient temperature range for the charging system when charging: 4℃ - 40℃.
Safety information about the batte and the charger:
Caution / Warning.
Wear hearing protection.
Read the instruction manual.
Wear eye protection.
Batte recycling
The batteries must be removed from the device before disposal.
Separate disposal of used products and packaging makes it possible to recycle and reuse
materials. The reuse of recycled materials helps to avoid environmental pollution and
reduces the need for raw materials.
WARNING INFORMATION

Note: The sound and vibration values have been measured in accordance with EN 62841-1 and
EN 62841-2-4.
Sound and vibration
The specied vibration value and the determined noise emission values have been measured in
accordance with a standardized test method and can be used to compare dierent power tools with
each other. The specied overall vibration values and the specied noise emission values can also be
used to make a prelimina assessment of the load.
Warning! The vibration and noise emissions during actual use of the power tool may dier from the
indicated values, depending on the way in which the power tool is used and paicularly on the type of
work piece that is being processed. Take measures to protect yourself against vibration stress, lake the
entire working procedure into account, including the times when the power tool is working without a
load or is switched o.
