POWERING UNIT
Press Switch on side of unit to turn unit ON/OFF (Fig. 1)
NOTE: Charge battery prior to initial use. (see recharging battery)
RECHARGING BATTERY:
1. Before using spotlight for first time, charge battery for ten (10) hours.
2. Before recharging battery, turn function switch to off position.
3. Press solar charger lock to detach charging base (Fig. 1).
4. Plug AC/DC charger unit into any electrical outlet, and plug other end of cord of
charger to DC jack of charging base. OR
5. Plug car plug charger unit into cigarette lighter socket of car, and plug other end of
cord of charger into DC jack of charging base. OR
6. Press button to open solar panel, place solar panel in a location directly facing sun.
7. Red LED light will come on to indicate charger is working; when battery is fully
charged, Green LED light will come on.
To Change Handle Position
Press Handle Button (Fig. 1) and pull handle into desired position.

WARNINGS & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that
may cause undesired operation.
• Use only as directed
• Never place spotlight face down when light is on or is still hot from recent use. Doing
so could burn/ignite surfaces such as seats, carpeting, etc. and could cause property
damage. Always turn spotlight off when not in use.
• Always unplug charger from light and power source when not in use.
• To prevent damage to eyesight, never look into light when light is on. DO NOT shine
light into the face of someone else.
• DO NOT touch lens of spotlight when light is on or if it was recently on. Lens will be
hot and could cause burns.
• DO NOT place spotlight in water. Keep all components dry and out of water at all
times. Dry location use only.
• DO NOT allow children to handle or operate this spotlight.
• DO NOT use this product for other than its intended use.
• DO NOT charge or operate in close proximity of combustible or flammable materials.
• DO NOT charge battery in gas tight enclosures.
• DO NOT attempt to charge or operate this spotlight if cord, plug, battery, bulb, or any
part of the spotlight is damaged or corroded.
• Only use charging devices that are provided with the Q-Beam™ Stellar Spotlight or
its replacements.
• DO NOT disassemble or tamper with the battery.
