speakers and ensure that all advice on how to look after your speakers is
followed.

Introduction
This instruction manual is for your safety and must be adhered to at all times. Please read and ensure that you fully understand the
installation and set up procedures as explained and if you are unclear on the installation or set up of your VIBE BlackAir Series
speakers please contact your nearest authorised VIBE dealer.

BEFORE WIRING DISCONNECT THE CABLE FROM THE POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL - failure to do so may result in electric shock or
injury.
ENSURE GOOD AND CORRECT CONNECTIONS - failure to make the correct connections may result in fire or dama e to the product.
DO NOT USE FUNCTIONS OF THIS EQUIPMENT THAT MAY TAKE YOUR CONCENTRATION AWAY FROM DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE - do
not set up your amplifier whilst drivin , doin so may result in an accident. For set up, make sure that your vehicle is stationary and in
a safe location.
KEEP THE VOLUME AT A LEVEL SO YOU CAN STILL HEAR OUTSIDE NOISE - failure to do this may result in an accident. VIBE
equipment is capable of producin sound levels that can permanently dama e your hearin . VIBE recommends caution when listenin
at hi h volume. For safe and enjoyable listenin the sound should be comfortable and clear without distortion.
CAUTION
Never connect any speaker lead to the car chassis. This can cause severe dama e to your speaker /car radio /amplifier.
Before drillin or cuttin any holes, investi ate the layout of your vehicle thorou hly.
Use caution when workin near the fuel / hydraulic lines and electrical wirin .
Observe the correct polarity when wirin , improper phasin may cause a loss of bass response.
Ensure that no movin parts catch on the speaker or rill (e. . window or door handles, or window lass inside the door)
Inst ll tion
The quality of the installation will affect the system performance and reliability.
Contact your nearest authorised VIBE dealer if you are unsure on the installation of this product.
Please mount this unit away from any potential hazards.
Minimisin the len th of wires will provide hi her audio output from the system.
The speaker should be securely fastened to the mountin position usin the screws provided.
Pre drill your mountin holes usin a drill and position with the template provided.
Be sure to investi ate your mountin area thorou hly for electrical wires, brake or fuel lines or fuel tank to prevent causin any
dama e.
Firstly make sure that the speakers will fit in your chosen location. This may involve the removal of the standard vehicle speakers.
Please use the mountin depth and hole cut dimensions as detailed in this manual for uidance.

Surf ce mount tweeter inst ll tion.
Locate a suitable position for the tweeter. Many positions will provide ood sound quality. For optimum sta in , position tweeter hi her
than woofer but within 5” to 10" of the woofer.
Carefully unscrew the tweeter casin and remove the tweeter.
Usin the base of the casin mark the two mountin holes and a hole for passin the wire throu h.
Cut out these holes.
Pass the tweeter cable throu h the bottom of the case and into the previously drilled holes.
Securely fix the base of the tweeter in place usin the screws provided.
Select whether the standard casin or the sli htly an led casin is to be used and carefully screw the tweeter casin back to ether,
ensurin that no cable ets trapped.
The tweeter direction should then be adjusted so that the tweeter is focused towards the listener.
Flush mount tweeter inst ll tion
Locate a suitable position for the tweeter. Many positions will provide ood sound quality. For optimum sta in , position tweeter hi her
than woofer but within 5 to 10" of the woofer.
Use the cut out template and mark and cut out the hole for the tweeter to sit into.
Place the entire tweeter pod into the hole.
From the rear of the tweeter. Slide the rooved lockin device over the tweeter cable and then over the back of the tweeter case to
firmly hold it in place.
The Tweeter direction should then be adjusted so that the tweeter is focused towards the listener.
Crossover inst ll tion BlackAir 5 & 6
The crossover units are desi ned to be mounted as close to the woofers as possible.
Locate a suitable mountin place for them.
Remove the lid by usin the fin er hole in the top of the cover.
Mark the two mountin holes inside the crossover unit.
Cut these holes out.
Secure the crossovers with the screw provided.

Woofer inst ll tion. - BlackAir 5 & 6
1. If necessary cut any material away to allow the speaker to sit correctly.
2. Cut out the mountin hole and pre-drill any other fixin holes.
3. If the rill is to be fitted, place it over the speaker and screw throu h both rill and speaker usin the screw provided until the
speaker is securely fastened.
4. If no rill is fitted then securely screw the speaker into place usin the screws provided.
Crossover inst ll tion BlackAir 5 & 6
The crossover units are desi ned to be mounted as close to the woofers as possible.
1. Locate a suitable mountin place for them.
2. Remove the lid by twistin anti clockwise 1/4 turn
3. Mark the two mountin holes inside the crossover unit.
4. Drill these holes out.
5. Secure the crossovers with the screw provided.

The VIBE Blackair speakers feature a removable mesh rill, to remove and refit the rill please follow the procedure below.
1. Remove the 4 retainin bolts that secure the alloy asket to the chassis
2. Lift off the alloy asket from the chassis and remove the steel mesh rill
3. Refit the alloy asket and secure to the chassis with the 4 retainin bolts
4. Gasket fitment is now complete
To refit the rill simply follow this procedure insertin the rill at step 2.

Limited W rr nty
All VIBE products carry a full twelve months warranty, valid from
the date of the ori inal receipt / proof of purchase. In order to
validate this warranty, the warranty card should be returned to VIBE
within seven days of the ori inal purchase date. The ori inal receipt
and packa in should also be retained for this twelve month period.
If at any sta e durin the warranty period you have a problem with the
product then it should be returned to the point of purchase, with proof of purchase in its
ori inal packa in , complete with no items missin .
If the store is unable to fix the product it may have to be returned to
VIBE this process takes around 7 workin days.

VIBE BC10 level controller
The VIBE BC10 ain level controller is a perfect addition to any subwoofer system, the BC10 allows the level of the amplifier to be
controlled from the driver’s seat ivin the user easy adjustment of ain level. Particularly useful for adjustin the ain level for
amplifiers controllin subwoofers. The BC10 controller is RCA input and output makin it compatible with any system allowin ain
level adjustment of any amplifier it is connected to. It can also be used with full ran e amplifiers.

The VIBE FastPlu ™ (pat. pendin ), is a product lon overdue. Desi ned and developed by VIBE En ineers the plu
offers safe, fast removal of your active bass enclosure (bass box) or amplifier. You may wish to remove your
system for security reasons, or for the full use of your boot space, whatever the reason the VIBE FastPlu makes
it easy and safe.
The plu is a heavy duty connector that connects positive, ne ative and remote wires. It is made up of 2 parts –
one end to connect to your equipment and the other to your power source – made from hi h quality ABS plastic

The Deltabox line driver is the ideal solution for those lookin to install multiple amplifiers from a sin le RCA preout. Most people use
RCA “Y” splitters for this task unaware of the si nal de radation caused. The Deltabox not only divides the si nal but also isolates and
boosts the si nal up to a maximum of 9 volts independently for each of the 3 output channels ivin much cleaner sound and
excellent si nal to noise ratio. For SPL competition the Deltabox is an essential tool as each of the outputs can be split 4 times ivin
control of 12 amplifiers from a sin le ain enablin precise adjustment of the system without havin to reset every amplifier
individually. Additionally if your headunit has a weak preout or you wish to run multiple amps but only have one output the Deltabox™

The VIBE 1.5 farad power capacitor is a must for any hi h performance audio system. VIBE’s 1.5 farad power capacitor
brid es the ap between the vehicles battery and the amplifiers ensurin rapid smooth current flow resultin in louder
ti hter bass and clean crisp midran e and treble. The built in di ital volta e display constantly and accurately displays the
systems DC volta e. An all new VIBE power distribution block is built into the top of the capacitor to allow easy wirin into
the system and also will allow 3 amplifiers to be wired directly to the capacitor for maximum current flow to the amplifiers.
