Electrical Gang Box Adapter
Installation Instructions
This Quick Install Guide covers the IQM-GBA Flush Ceiling mount for the Alliance-mx camera domes. Be sure to go
to our website www.vicon-security.com to assure you have the most current documentation.
1 Service
If the unit needs repair service or parts, the customer should contact Vicon Industries for authorization to return, as
well as shipping instructions.
2 Unpacking
The IQM-GBA Alliance-mx Electrical Gang Box Adapter assembly should include the following:
1. Electrical Gang Box Adapter
2. Pack of (8) machine screws
(4) #6 x 1” Philips Pan Head machine screws
(4) M4 x 12mm Phillips Pan Head machine screws

3 Installation
1. Route the Ethernet cable through the opening in the Electrical Gang Box Adapter, and attach the adapter as
shown in Figure 2 using the four supplied #6 x 1”machine screws.
2. Route the Ethernet cable through the gasket installed in the enclosure. Attach the Alliance-mx series camera to
the adapter as shown Figure 3 using the four M4 x 12mm machine screws and sealing washers supplied with the
Alliance-mx dome camera.
3. After the field-of-view and focus are completed, attach the dome trim ring cover with shroud to the enclosure by
tightening the three tamper-proof screws with the Torx T-20 security wrench supplied with the Alliance-mx camera.
