The Tank
The machine comes fitted with a tank. It can be filled without taking it off the machine by removing the
black cap and pouring in water or pre-mixed solution. If you need to remove the tank from the machine,
first disconnect the pipe at the bottom of the tank by pushing the button on the connector. Disconnect the
chain which attaches to the trigger on the machines handle.
With the tank disconnected from the pipe and the trigger you can remove it from the machine by
unscrewing the two screws on the tank back, then just lift it off
The tank can be filled under a standard tap or by hose. To re-fit the tank, place the tank into the holders on
the handle and tighten the screw nuts at the back, then push the pipe connectors together until you hear a
click. Return the chain to the trigger and ensure it lifts the activation bar when pulled.
Fitting the Pads
Ensure battery isolation switch is in the off position and the handle is in the lock position. Tilt the machine
back onto its wheels and lay the machine flat on the floor. From behind the drive plate, place the pads onto
the base of the machine. Push the pads on so they are securely fitted and grip the drive face, make sure
they are centred across the drive. Then carefully lift the handle of the machine and lower the pads onto the
floor. The machine is now ready to use.
Operating the Machine
To get power to the machine first turn on the power switch on the top of the handle and ensure the battery
isolation switch is in the on position. A red light should appear, this indicates there is power from the
battery.
Release the foot catch and lower the handle to set it to a comfortable height.
To turn the machine on, slide either of the safety switches to the outside of the machine and pull the small
lever under the associated switch. To stop the machine simply release the levers.
To turn the machine off, release the levers and turn off the battery isolation switch so no light shows.
To clean the floor with the machine simply move the machine over the floor by pushing or pulling.
To activate the solution simply pull the solution trigger lever located on the left of the handle.
You do not need to keep the solution trigger pressed all the time, just pull the trigger when required.
Having control over the solution function means you use less solution and can use more solution where
necessary, for example to clean a stubborn mark.
IMPORTANT - When the battery requires charging the machine will stop and the battery indicator light on
the battery will be mostly red. Please ensure that you turn the battery isolation switch to the Off position
when this happens before you charge the battery.
Charging the Battery
Before charging the battery read and be familiar with the charger instructions. A representative copy has
been printed below for your convenience.
The battery can be charged whilst still attached to the machine. Or if you are rotating batteries, please use
the key to remove the battery and charge at the designated charging station.
Plug the charger into a mains socket. Attach the battery to the charging socket. Turn on the mains power.
Charging is complete when a green light is displayed on the charger.
