Setting a permanent room temperature
You can select 3 temperatures:
&Standard room temperature "COM-
FORT"
Setting range: 16.2 to 30 °C
&Reduced room temperature
"LOWER"
Setting range: 10 to 20.8 °C
&Frost protection temperature
"FROST"
Settingrange:6to10°C
Press the following keys:
1. Turn the rotary program selector to
"MENU"; "TARGET TEMP"willbe
displayed and the "t" symbol
flashes.
2. dto confirm. "COMFORT"is
displayed and the tempera-
ture flashes.

displayed.

Setting an individual time program (P3)
Setting the switching points for the heating periods
Set switching points for the whole
week.
For each switching time, enter the
time and the temperature (standard/
reduced room temperature, frost pro-
tection temperature) (see example).
You can select up to 26 switching
points.
There are different input options:
&"MO–FR" thesameswitching
points for Monday to Friday
&"SA/SU" the same switching points
for Saturday and Sunday
&"DAILY" thesameswitchingpoints
for every day
&"SINGLE DAY" different switching
points for single days
Should you wish to change the
selected switching points for single
days, first delete the set switching
points for that day. Then enter the
new switching points for the individual
day ("SINGLE DAY").
Example
From Monday to Friday and on Sun-
day, you want to heat from 8:00 to
22:00 h and on Saturday from 9:00 to
23:00 h with standard room tempera-
ture; the rest of the time you want to
heat with reduced room temperature.

This requires the following steps to be
taken:
1. For Monday to Sunday ("DAILY"):

and 22:00 h
2. For the "SINGLE DAY" Saturday:
Deleting the switching points 8:00 h
and 22:00 h
3. For the "SINGLE DAY" Saturday:
Setting the switching points 9:00 h
and 23:00 h

"MENU" and press the following keys:

Deleting switching points
You can delete all switching points
simultaneously or individually.

Changing the room temperature for a few days only
The following energy saving options are available for times when you are not at
home:
&You can switch OFF central heating completely by turning the rotary program
selector to frost protection mode "Ç".
or
&You can set central heating to minimum energy consumption (e.g. to prevent
your houseplants from being damaged by frost). For this, select the holiday
program "j".

Setting a holiday program
Turn the rotary program selector to
"MENU" and press the following keys:
1. a/buntil "HOLIDAY" is dis-
played.
2. dto confirm; "START HOLI-
DAY" is briefly displayed.
3. a/bto enter the start and end
time "YEAR","MONTH",
"DAY","HOUR".
4. drespectively to confirm.
5. a/buntil the temperature dur-
ing holiday mode is
selected, i.e. "FROST",
"LOWER" or "COMFORT"
6. dto confirm; "END" is briefly
displayed.
7. Turn the rotary selector to the
required program. As soon as the
start time has been reached, the
display may, for example, show:
Note
If you want to change the tempera-
tures for the holiday program for
"FROST","LOWER" or "COM-
FORT", proceed as described on
page 11. The modified temperature
will also apply after the holiday pro-
gram has expired and must be modi-
fied again, if required.
Terminating the holiday program
&The holiday program terminates
automatically after the end time has
been reached.
&Ifyouwanttoterminatetheholiday
program early, turn the rotary pro-
gram selector to "MENU" and press
the following keys:
1. a/buntil "HOLIDAY" is dis-
played; symbol "j"
flashes.
2. dto confirm; "SCAN" is dis-
played.
3. a/buntil "CLEAR" is dis-
played.
4. dto confirm.
5. Turn the rotary selector to the
required program.

The following functions enable you to change the room temperature for a few
hours, without permanently altering your settings.
You want to raise the room temperature unexpectedly:
&In all programs, raise the room temperature with key a(see page 18).
&In programs "P1", "P2" and "P3", select party mode "g"(seepage19).
You want to lower the room temperature unexpectedly:
&In all programs, lower the room temperature with key b(see page 18).
&In programs "P1", "P2" and "P3", select economy mode "û"(seepage18).
Changing with keys a/b
You can change the temperatures
specified in all programs temporarily.
Themodifiedtemperatureremains
enabled until the next changeover
within a program or until the next pro-
gram change.
Press the following keys:
1. a/buntil the required value is
displayed.
2. With the flap closed:
Wait approx. 1 min until the value
is saved automatically.
or
With open flap:
3. dto confirm.
Setting economy mode
In economy mode, the standard room temperature will be reduced automatically
to the selected reduced room temperature. The modified temperature remains
enabled until the next changeover within a program or until the next program
change.
Note
You can only adjust the economy mode in programs "P1", "P2" and "P3".

1. bfor approx. 4 s, "ECO" and
the selected reduced room
temperature will be dis-
played.
2. a/bif you want to change the
economy mode tempera-

3. With the flap closed:
Wait approx. 1 min until the value
is saved automatically.

With open flap:
4. dto confirm.
Terminating economy mode
&The economy mode ends automati-
cally with the next changeover to
central heating with reduced room
temperature.
&If you want to terminate economy
mode early, press bagain for
approx. 4 s.
Setting party mode
In party mode, the reduced room temperature will be raised automatically to the
selected standard room temperature. The modified temperature remains
enabled until the next changeover within a program or until the next program
change.
Note
You can only adjust the party mode in programs "P1", "P2" and "P3".
Press the following keys:
1. afor approx. 4 s, "PARTY"
and the selected standard
room temperature will be
displayed.
2. a/bif you want to change the
party mode temperature.
3. With the flap closed:
Wait approx. 1 min until the value
is saved automatically.
or
