Operating Instructions
Operating Modes: You can use the VK918 in 5 ways:
● Sound activation – The unit wi activated by sound.
● Static disp ay – The unit wi disp ay ONLY the chosen co our.
● Auto Mode - The unit wi automatica y chase through different co ours.
● DMX contro (WDMX 2.4ghz) mode - This function a ows you to contro the fixture with a DMX contro er.
● Phone app contro (WIFI-contro ) – Contro co our from an IOS or Android Device app.
Turning On Power to the Light
Press & Ho d the Menu button for 3 seconds to power up the unit
Turning Off Power to the Light
Press & Ho d the Menu button for 3 seconds to power off the unit - the LED disp ay shows OFF to confirm power
down. When power is restored to the unit the battery charge status wi be shown in the LED disp ay as fo ows;
DMX Mode:
1. The VK918 uses 6 or 10 channe s of DMX to operate. P ease see the DMX Channe List be ow for channe properties.
2. To run your fixture in DMX mode, p ug in the fixture via the XLR connections to any standard DMX contro er .
3. Set your desired DMX address on the VK918 ie; A124 on the Led disp y and 6Ch or 10Ch according to preference.
4. The unit automatica y recognizes the DMX signa once the DMX connection is made.
Stand Alone Mode StAt):
Under the VK918 menu option StAt the user can set a Stand a one co our for the unit to produce. Using Rxxx,Gxxxx,
Bxxx,Uxxx,Yxxx,Pxxxx where xxx is va ue 0-255 you can set the brightness of co ours Red, Green, B ue, Amber,
White, & UV respective y. These wi be retained when the unit is powered down. Strobing is a so set under this option
on the Stxx menu option from 0 (no strobe) to 20 (fastest).
Auto Mode Auto):
Under the VK918 menu option Auto the unit can be set to chase co ours through a sequence of Fades, or Snaps or
sound (Soud) activated changes.
Wifi Mode:
There are 2 Wifi Modes se ectab e under the system menu option SySt : rF24 - receiver for wire ess DMX from a
2.4ghz transmitter, and WIFI for contro from IOS or Andriod device app.
rF24: Ensure rF24 feature is set to ON and frequency of receiver (FrEq in system menu) in the ight matches your
transmitter (1 to 7) & the unit wi respond to Wire ess DMX from your contro er.
WiFi: Under User Settings press ENTER choose WiFi mode press ENTER to confim, Wifi modu e wi show up. Insta
the app ”LedHome” into your ce phone in IOS or Android. Find and get in touch with device named ”LED_XXX”
Remember both WiFi and rF24 modes consume more battery power and a shorter running time before cre-charging will apply.

Tips for charging the battery:
● After a FULL charge the battery can ast for 6 hours with a LEDs on, & can ast for
more than 12-14 hours on auto mode chasing through each co our, or up to 20 hours
with one co our on static. Resu ts wi vary based on brightness of LEDs
●It is suggested to charge the battery for at east 4 hours before use. This can be done
in the Charging F ight case or individua y by p ugging the ight into a 13a socket direct y.
For best battery ife p ease remember to switch off rF24 and WIFI modes if not being used.
