Do not attempt to tamper with the device. All device
maintenance must be completed by a certi ied
technician of Ventorlux. Tampering of the product
may cause harm and void the warranty.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION
1. Upon receipt of device, check for any potential damage and inclusion of all equipment
required to use device properly. Refer to Device Description for components.
2. This device is intended for indoor use only.
3. Turn device o prior to installation and engaging with power supply.
4. Do not obstruct airow to or from device.
5. To move the device, turn the device o and disconnect from power supply.
6. To avoid electric shock and device damage, plug into an appropriate 110v outlet using the
power cord provided.
7. Do not handle device with wet or damp hands.
8. Do not sit or stand on the device.
9. Do not submerge the device or expose the device to water.
10. Never insert any object or limbs into the device.
11. Do not stand directly in front of the device when in use.
12. This device is a hard-mounted unit. The device should be disconnected from power supply
before installing, moving, cleaning, fuse replacement and/or mounting. For hard-mounted,
device must be secured properly, using approved mounting hardware.
13. Do not use unapproved tripods, mounting devices, or electric cords to operate or install this
device.
14. Do not attempt any maintenance on this device. All maintenance must be performed by a
technician certied by VentorLux. Tampering may cause harm and void warranty.
15. This product employs overload protection. A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-
circuit situation. If the device does not turn on, it may indicate a fuse is blown. Replacing a
fuse is not considered maintenance and may be performed by operator. Prior to changing
fuse, disconnect the device from power supply and replace the fuse as outlined in Operating
Instructions. In the event the device continues to short-circuit, discontinue use and contact
the manufacturer at (706) 992-8382.
16. Removing dust accumulated on the outside of the device is not considered maintenance
and may be performed by an operator. Before cleaning, disconnect the device from power
supply. See Operating Instructions.
17. To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or injury, turn the unit o and disconnect the unit
from power supply before moving, cleaning, or changing fuse.
18. After moving, cleaning, or changing fuse the unit must be reinstalled or remounted as
previously installed prior to operation.
19. Do not operate the device with a damaged cord or plug.
20. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from trac
area to avoid a tripping hazard.
21. This device is not a toy and should not be handled or operated by children.

product occurs. This product has tested safe for use in occupied spaces for humans, pets, plants,
and food.


SOULIS units are designed to be ceiling, wall or oor mounted. Each unit comes
with a 3/8” threaded rod holding hole in the upper section of the hanging yoke
as well as a wall or counter mount stand.

MOUNTING/INSTALLATION GUIDE
OPERATION
Soulis serves as a continuous, proactive air defense system to provide minimal risk in indoor
environments by eliminating airborne viruses, surface pathogens, as well as mold and bacteria.
Soulis has 99.99% pathogen reduction ecacy testing. (Assured Bio, Oak Ridge, TN.)
Soulis is intended for use indoors in healthcare facilities, tness facilities, nursing home
facilities, places of worship, municipal facilities, educational institutions, large venues, etc.
Upon receipt of Soulis check for any potential damage and inclusion of all equipment required
to use the device properly. Refer to Device Description for components.
To avoid electric shock and device damage, plug into an appropriate 115V outlet using the
power cord provided. Secure any hanging power chords to U shaped Hanging Yoke provided
in packaging.
Do not obstruct airow to or from the device.
Soulis is required to be ceiling or wall-mounted above 7ft with a required 115V 115v recepticle
if hard mounted with Ventorlux provided mounting equipment.
Soulis should only be placed in a location that allows for maximum airow into and out of the
unit.
To engage Soulis connect power cord and click the switch ON(I). To turn Soulis o, click the
switch OFF(O).
Cleaning the outside of Soulis is not considered maintenance and may be performed by
the operator. Use a dry rag to remove dust from the device exterior. The device must be
disconnected from the power source before cleaning.
Changing a fuse is not considered maintenance and may be performed by the operator. To
change the fuse safely the following steps are provided:
1. Disconnect/unplug the device from the 115V power source.
2. Remove the fuse from its holder. (Additional fuse secured inside fuse holder)
3. Inspect the fuse wire. If there is a visible gap in the wire or a dark or metallic smear
inside the glass then the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced.
4. Replace the fuse.
5. After moving, cleaning, or changing the fuse the unit must be reinstalled or
remounted as previously installed before operation.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE FEATURES AND
FUNCTIONS OF SOULIS X1 TO ENSURE OPTIMAL USE OF THIS PRODUCT
SOULIS X1 works to destroy harmful pathogens, and other micro-organisms by cycling air
through the device’s Photolysis Chamber. The air is then exposed to a specic frequency of
UVC light, causing the Pathogens, and other micro-organisms to be modied or destroyed. The
Photolysis chamber ensures no UVC light or Radiation can escape the chamber, making it safe
to use around people without the use of (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment.

technician of VentorLux. Tampering may
cause harm and will void warranty.
Soulis is designed for 24-7 operation with minimal maintenance.
All required maintenance will be performed by authorized VentorLux technicians. Maintenance
plans are separate agreements outlined at the time of sale.
Soulis contains UV Light which may be harmful to skin and eyes if mishandled. Do not tamper with
this device. Tampering may cause harm and will void the warranty.
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons, disconnect Soulis from the power
supply before cleaning, or changing the fuse.
Cleaning the outside of Soulis is not considered maintenance and may be performed by the
operator. See Operating Instruction for details.
Changing a fuse is not considered maintenance and may be performed by the operator.
SoulisParticle Filters are required during operation. (2) Soulis particle lters are
provided (1 installed)(1 additional lter inside packaging) For optimal performance and to
maintain the warranty, Ventorlux requires replacement of the Soulis particle lters every 30
days. Use only Soulis particle lters.
Wall mount and Ceiling hanging yoke are provided. Suggested installation hardware provided in
diagram below.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN POTENTIAL INJURY. FILTERS MUST BE
CHANGED EVERY 30 DAYS

Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact customer
service at (706 992-8382.
1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. (Do not unplug by pulling on cord)
2. Open fuse cover in the center.
3. Remove fuse carefully from the fuse holder. Grab on both ends.
4. Risk of re. Replace fuse only with a 5 amp fuse.
5. Insert and close fuse cover back into switch. Push so that all tabs latch.

REPLACEMENT PARTS & SERVICES

LIMITED 1YEAR WARRANTY
VentorLux warrants, for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, that
all products, component parts, and accessories, will be free from defects in material
and workmanship under normal use and service.
THE PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED
TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PARTS. ALL DEVICES SHOULD BE
RETURNED TO VENTORLUX FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT.
To keep this warranty in eect for the aforementioned twelve month period, the
purchaser must (i) promptly, i.e., immediately upon discovery, inform VentorLux
customer service of any defects, and (ii) properly use the Product in accordance with
guidelines outlined in the manual, (iii) adhere to a maintenance program provided by
VentorLux, and (iv) refrain from any tampering with the product.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or defects caused by (i) improper or
negligent handling or unauthorized modications; (ii) defective or improper premises,
chemical, or electrical inuences; or (iii) weather or other forces of nature.
To provide the best customer service possible, VentorLux requires the purchaser to
complete the LIMITED WARRANTY REGISTRATION FORM and submit to VentorLux
within 30 days of purchase date.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND
OBLIGATIONS OF VentorLux OR ITS SUPPLIERS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. VentorLux
EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
LIMITATION OF REMEDY
Under no circumstances shall VentorLux or any supplier of VentorLux be liable for any
loss or damage, including, but not limited to, loss or damage arising out of the failure
of the Products to operate for any period of time, inconvenience, the use of rental
or replacement equipment loss of prots or other economic loss, or general, direct,
special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or property damages.
PRODUCT SUITABILITY
States and localities may have varied codes and regulations governing sales,
construction, installation, and/or use of products for certain purposes. While VentorLux
attempts to assure that its products comply with such codes, it cannot guarantee
compliance, and cannot be responsible for how the products are installed or used.
VentorLux recommends that, before purchasing and using a product, purchasers
review the product applicatio and the local, state, and federal regulations, to be sure
that the product installation and use are compliant. VentorLux provides free consulting
services to Spec and Design spaces with the best combination and/or placement of
equipment to create pathogen free environments.
This Warranty will become VOID if evidence of misuse, and/or
tampering are discovered

Soulis provides continuous, proactive air defense in the ght against airborne pathogens such
as viruses, bacteria, mold, and surface contagions. Providing a minimal-risk environment in

Combining state-of-the-art Ultra-violet light(UVC) and fan technology, Soulis eciently and
eectively moves air through its disinfecting chamber, discharging disinfected air, providing a
pathogen free space.
Tested 100% safe for occupied spaces, Soulis is safe for use in the presence of humans, animals,
plants, and food and oers 24-7 proactive disinfection of the air.
Soulis creates approximately 300 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) of clean air, creating pathogen
free environments. Surrounding air is safely and quickly disinfected, greatly reducing the risk of
infection, transmission, and spread of disease related to virus, mold, and bacteria.
