1Safety Instructions
Carefully read the instructions before operating the unit.
Read the maintenance instructions before opening the appliance.
This appliance is for indoor use only.
This unit must be only connected to a 100 -240 V / 50 - 60 Hz
earthed outlet.
Installation must be in accordance with regulations of the country
where the unit is used.
If you are in any doubt about the suitability of your electrical supply,
have it checked and, if necessary, modified by a qualified electrician.
The air purifier has been tested and is safe to use. However, as with
any electrical appliance - use it with care.
Instructions for the safe usage of the V-SAFE 100 Air Purifier
●Do not let water or any other liquid or flammable detergent enter
the appliance to avoid electric shock and/or a fire hazard.
●Do not clean the appliance with water, any other liquid, or a
(flammable) detergent to avoid electric shock and/or a fire
hazard.
●Do not spray any flammable materials such as insecticides or
fragrance around the appliance.
●Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the
local power voltage before you connect the appliance.
●Never operate this appliance if the cord or plug is damaged.
Ensure the power cord is not stretched or exposed to sharp
object/edges.
●A damaged supply cord should be replaced by the manufacturer
or a qualified electrician to avoid a hazard.
●Do not use the appliance if the plug, the power cord, or the
appliance itself is damaged.
●This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

●Do not use the product if the housing is damaged. It may result in
the escape of UV-C radiation. In small doses UV-C radiation can
cause harm to the eyes and the skin.
●Disconnect the power from the unit before dismantling,
assembling, replacing the UV lamps, replacing any part, or
cleaning the unit. Avoid touching any moving parts of the
appliance.
●Do not block the air inlet and outlet, by placing items on the air
outlet or in front of the air inlet.
●Make sure that foreign objects do not fall into the appliance
through the air outlet.
●Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects though the
guard.
●Cleaning and user maintenance must be conducted by adults over
18 years old.
●Never connect the unit to an electrical outlet using an extension
cord. If an outlet is not available, one should be installed by a
qualified electrician.
●Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than for its
intended use.
●Always place the unit indoors at a height of 180 to 200 cm.
●The High Velocity speed is designed to create rapid air movement,
therefore make sure the fan is not placed near curtains or objects
that may be drawn into the fan inlet.
●The appliance should not be installed in laundries or wet rooms.
●Do not use this unit in environments with flammable and
explosive gases.
●Do not use the unit in temperatures greater than 40°C.
●Do not place the unit in sunlight, near a gas-powered appliance,
or near a heat source such as a heater or fireplace.
●Do not insert any type of metal object into the unit.
●To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not allow the power cord to
come into contact with damp or wet surfaces.
●Do not try to repair or modify any type of mechanical part.
●If you notice unusual noises or suspicious signs, immediately
disconnect the plug from power and contact your dealer.
●Do not use the unit near a fire alarm. If the outlet air is blowing
towards a fire alarm, the alarm may respond late, or not at all.

●Place the unit at least 1 meter away from the main sources of
pollution for example: fireplaces, chemical sprays/products, glued
flooring, to have a representative analysis of the ambient air
quality.
●V-SAFE 100 products utilize Germicidal Ultraviolet (UV-C) Lamps
with and without O3.
Possibly hazardous optical radiation emitted from
this product
The appliance contains a UV-emitter.
Even with the benefits it provides, germicidal ultraviolet lamps pose
imminent danger if used without taking the proper precautions.
You MUST avoid exposure to direct or reflected germicidal ultraviolet
rays, since they cause painful eye irritation and reddening of the
skin. Under no circumstances should you look directly or indirectly at
the germicidal light.
For maximum performance the minimum distance from a
ceiling or objects should be 40 cm.

2V-SAFE 100 Air Purifier
The V-SAFE 100 air purifier is a smart air and surface disinfectant. In
closed spaces within 15 minutes of operation, the live virus presence
is reduced by 97% and within 30 minutes by 99.9%.
2.1 V-SAFE 100 Packaging
The packaging includes:
●3 x UV-C with O3 Lamps
●1 x UV-C Lamp
●1 x 12VDC Power Supply
●1 x AC Cord 2m
2.2 Features of the V-SAFE 100 Air Purifier
The unit includes the following features:
●Wi-Fi remote control and supervision
●Slim design
●LED Display for showing the current mode of operation
●High speed Motor with 5 Fan Speed Settings
●Dedicated Application allowing various functions to be changed.

The following diagram shows the components of the air
purifier.
There is a small hole in the lid on the left side next to the
smile. Insert a pin into the hole and hold for 5 seconds to start the
initial process to connect the unit to the local Wi-Fi or to connect to a
new network.

2.3 Preparing the V-SAFE 100 Air Purifier for
Installation
Prepare the unit for installation by:
1Carefully remove the unit from the box.
2Open the cover by inserting a screwdriver in one of these
locations.
3Connect the new lamps to their appropriate sockets.
Note: The correct lamp must be inserted into the correct socket
4Close the cover.
2.4 Installing the V-SAFE 100 Air Purifier
There is an air intake and air outlet. The intake is at the bottom of
the air purifier.
1Locate the most central available wall.
2Make sure there is no obstacle in the air flow.
3Apply the supplied drawing to the wall with the top part at a
height of 200 cm from the floor, and drill the two holes as
directed.

4Insert the two supplied wall-plugs into the holes.
5Screw the two supplied screws in position and hang the purifier in
place.
6Connect the AC cord to the AC outlet.
The Unit operates instantly. The LED lamps lights in white and the
fan operates at Mid Speed.
2.5 Operating the V-SAFE 100 Air Purifier
1Download the VIRUSAFE App from the Google App Store or Apple
App Store.
2Using your mobile device, scan the QR code located at the bottom
of the unit and log in to the
3Follow the instructions to connect the air purifier to your local Wi-
Fi.

4Follow the instructions to set up a room for the air purifier and to
connect the device.
2.6 Application Control Panel
After connecting the Air Purifier to the Wi-Fi, the unit can be
controlled as follows:
●Turn on/off: Turns the air purifier On and Off. The default
setting is On.
●SET operating Hours: Set the specific times for the Night Mode
in which the purifier is in sleep mode. Include a start and end
time. The default settings are between 0:00 to 06:00 AM.
●Speed: Choose between the five available fan speeds. The default
setting is Mid Speed.
●Reducing the O3 Threshold: O3 has a distinctive odor relative
to it’s concentration in the air. Our Patent Pending control circuit
verifies that the concentration of the O3 in the air is always below
the regulation. You can decrease this level if the odor is too
strong.

This option only allows you to DECREASE the level of the O3 in the
room. Press to reduce the level by single increments of 5% each.
It is recommended that you change this threshold after initial
operation of 48hrs and to reduce only a single increment a day to
allow for the odor to change and still maintain good operation.

2.7 Modes of Operation
The air purifier has the following modes of operation:
●Green: The space is purified and safe
●White: The purifier is idle/sleeping
●Blue: Operating, purifying the air and the surfaces
●Red: Alert

3Maintenance/Cleaning and Replacement
ATTENTION: Before any maintenance/cleaning
operation the units must be turned off and unplugged from
the socket.
3.1 Cleaning the Surface
Clean the outside fins with a duster or soft wet cloth.
Do not use any chemical solvents as they might cause irreversible
damage. Make sure no water enters through the air inlets/outlets
into the air purifier not to cause damage to the electrical
components.
3.2 Cleaning the Filter
Clean the filter once every three months, as follows:
1Remove the front cover by using a screwdriver and press the top
two clips to loosen the lid.
2Take the filter out and wash it in running water till it is white.
3Dry and replace the filter.
4Replace the front cover.
3.3 Replacing the UV/O3 Lamps
Replace the UV/O3 lamps once a year.
DO NOT use NON-Original UV/O3 lamps not purchased from
approved distributors.
1Remove the front cover.
2Remove the four lamps from their sockets.
3Connect the new lamps to their appropriate sockets.

Note: The correct lamp must be placed in the correct socket.
4Close the front cover.
3.4 Replacing the Ballasts
Replace the ballasts every two years.
1Remove the front cover.
2(Optional) Open the two screws (drawing).
3Unlock the inside cover from the base by pressing a screwdriver in
the middle of the top section (drawing).
4Open the inside cover to 80 degrees to enable maintenance.
5Disconnect the two connectors (four wires each) connected to the
top part of the two ballasts.
6Disconnect the two connectors (eight wires each) connected to
the bottom part of the two ballasts.
7(Optional) Disconnect the two connectors connected to the control
circuit.

8Take care to remove the ballasts up and out from their position.
9Place the two new ballasts in the in and down position and
connect the three different connectors in place.
10 Close the inside cover.
11 Secure the two screws in place.
12 Close the front cover.

4Troubleshooting
Do not repair or disassemble the unit by yourself, unauthorized
repair attempts will invalidate the warranty and may cause bodily
harm.

5Appendix
Disposal: Do not dispose this product as unsorted
municipal waste. Collection of such waste must be
handled separately as special treatment is necessary.
Recycling facilities are now available for all customers at
which you can deposit your old electrical products. Customers will be
able to take any old electrical equipment to participating civic
amenity sites run by their local councils. Please remember that this
equipment will be further handled during the recycling process, so
please be considerate when depositing your equipment. Please
contact the local council for details of your local household waste
recycling centers.
