Compression
The Visioneer 6400 features Visioneer’s JPEG Enhancement
Technology (JET). Visioneer scanners using JET have a
built-in compression engine that allows the user to scan
large files very quickly. Through JET, the Visioneer 6400
can scan documents at speeds up to two times faster than
comparable scanners. The compression engine can easily
be tuned to provide smaller files or better image quality.
