Quickstart Guide
Thank you for purchasing this Visual
Land Player. Please read through the
user manual in order to understand the
functions of your new player.
Adding Your Files to the Player
When connected to a PC, the player acts
as a standard USB-Disk drive, supporting
Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista,
Mac OS 10.3, and Linux Red Hat 8.0. Once
your player is detected, drag and drop or
cut and paste the files that you wish to save
to the player’s internal memory.
Note: MAC Computers - When connected
to your MAC computer, the device will act
as a removable drive. Simply drag your files
to the device.
Charging the Player
Your player can be charged through either
a USB wall charger or by being directly
connected to the computer. Please note
that charging times vary between these
two methods.
NOTE: Make sure that your player is on the
“ON” position in order for charging to occur.
Turning on the Player
To turn on the player, move the switch on
top of the player to the left, then hold down
the play button. To turn off the player, move
the switch to the right. Holding down the
Play/Pause button will place the player into
standby mode, which powers off the player,
but saves the menu location of where the
player is.

Troubleshooting
Cannot fit more than 99 files onto the
player:
To fix this problem, create a new folder on
your player and insert your files in there.
Please do not insert a subfolder within a
subfolder as it may cause problems with
your player.
Short battery life:
The screen can drain the battery life of
your player. To increase the battery life, we
suggest that you change the brightness,
and the time it takes for
the player screen to turn off when idle.
Firmware Upgrade:
We strongly recommend that you only
download Visual Land approved firmware
from our website. Downloading any other
firmware may harm your player.
For further details on how to use your
player, consult the full PDF manual located
inside the player or download it from our
website: http://www.visual-land.com
