Instructions
The VS-XO is a true dual overdrive. Think of it as two separate pedals in one
housing. The following instructions will give you some tips on setup and use,
although you can pro a ly just plug in and start using it right away.
Overdrive 1: Typical Drive, Tone (high oost / cut), and Volume kno s, plus
Overdrive 1 Overdrive 2
Use the Clean Mix kno to go from 100% Clean oost (minimum setting) to
100% Overdrive (max. setting), or anything in etween.
Clipping chooses etween three different clipping diode voices:
A) No diodes low gain, organic. B) Two LEDs medium gain, right.
C) Three signal diodes higher gain, smooth asymmetrical clipping.
Bass switch chooses etween three different ass levels:
A) Slight ass cut. B) Slight ass oost. C) Larger ass oost.
You will find that B sounds almost exactly in the middle of A and C.

Overdrive 2: Typical Drive, Tone (high oost / cut)*, and Volume kno s, plus
* The Tone kno is slightly different than a typical overdrive tone control in that it
oosts gain slightly as it oosts highs when turned toward maximum.
Internal Buffer On/Off: If you open the pedal, you will see a slide switch for each overdrive
which allows you to turn on/off the Pure Tone uffer circuit. We recommend that you leave the
first channel uffer on. However, if you want pure true ypass switching, you may turn oth
switches off.

Use the Bass kno to go from ass cut (minimum setting) to ass oost (max.
setting), or anything in etween.
