QUICK START GUIDE
ADJUST YOUR DEVICE
SETTINGS FOR VITASTIQ
Some devices may require manual adjustments.
iOS users:
•Settings > Vitastiq > Allow Vitastiq to access:
Microphone - turn ON
•Settings > Music (or iPod) >
Volume Limit - set to maximum - turn OFF
(or adjust manually with '+' button)
•Settings > General > Accessibility:
Mono Audio - turn OFF
•Settings > General > Accessibility:
Adjust the audio volume balance
between left and right channels - set to
CENTER
Turn off any
application
that is using
phone’s audio
or microphone,
even those
working in the
background.
Android users:
•Sound - Volume (Multimedia) - turn to MAX
(or adjust manually with '+' button)
•Application Manager - Vitastiq:
allow access to MICROPHONE (turn ON)
•Audio BALANCE between left & right
channel set to CENTER
•Mono Sound OFF / Stereo Sound ON
•Make sure MUTE is NOT ON
Note: Not all Android operating systems are
the same, so you may find some differences in
the settings on your device.
Turn off any

VITASTIQ INSTALLATION
•Download the free Vitastiq app by scanning
this QR code or visit the App Store or Google
Play.
•Log in with Google, Facebook, or e-mail.
•Set up your app profile.
•Connect the smartphone to your Vitastiq
device using the enclosed cable. Simply
insert the connector into the headphone
mini jack socket on your smartphone.
•Certain Android devices may require an
additional CTIA to OMTP adapter to function
properly (a small metal part included in the box).
•Register your Vitastiq device by scanning or
entering the code found inside the Vitastiq
box or received via e-mail.

2. Calibrate
Carefully determine the reference point.
Hold the device as you would hold a pen. Move
the tip of the device exactly as shown on the
screen during the calibration. Press the tip so it
retracts all the way in. The hand holding the
Vitastiq device should not be touching the rest
of the body. Tap the “i” icon on the screen to
get the precise description.
TIPS & TRICKS
•If the results are showing unusually high or
unusually low vitamin or mineral levels, please
review the tutorials and try again. There is a
possibility that your reference point has not
been determined correctly or that you
applied too little or too much pressure to the
reference point.
•To check the specific vitamin or mineral level
again, simply tap its name on the screen.
•Do not hold the smartphone in your hand.
Your phone shouldn’t be in contact with your
skin when using Vitastiq device.
•Do not check your vitamin and mineral status
on a metal surface as this can interfere
with electrical conductivity.
•Do not charge your smartphone during
the vitamin and mineral status check.
•Check the cable connection. Remove any
phone cover/case so the audio cable is
connected properly.
•Please wait about 30 minutes before
performing the vitamin or mineral status
check on the same acupuncture point.
The nerve/meridian impedance can increase
due to repeated treatment and can lead to
inaccurate results.

START YOUR VITAMIN AND MINERAL
STATUS CHECK
Take the time to get familiar with the whole
process as this will increase the precision of the
results. Practice makes perfect!
1. Prepare
•Take off all your jewellery.
•Make sure that your skin is clean.
•Do not use any body or hand lotion.
•Clean and dampen all checking points on
your skin (use cotton pads and water).
3. Check
Start checking your vitamin and mineral levels.
Be precise when placing the tip of the device
on the individual checking point: please pay
close attention to the exact position of each
point. Press the tip so it retracts all the way in.
If necessary, slightly move the tip to find the
highest value as this shows the correct point
position (at the exact acupuncture point you
should get the highest value).
Do not touch the nail root as this can affect the
accuracy of the results.
Tap the “i” icon on the screen to get precise
instructions on how to find the exact point.
