Care & Maintenance
Storage
This volumizer does not typically require maintenance.
Keep all vents and openings clear of dirt and dust. If the
cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use.
If cleaning is necessary, unplug the volumizer and allow
it to completely cool. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
Dust and lint can be removed from air inlets and air outlets
using a small brush or a vacuum cleaner brush attachment.
Do not submerge the volumizer in water, allow the
volumizer to come in contact with water, or allow moisture
or debris to enter the volumizer while cleaning.
If the volumizer is malfunctioning, unplug it, allow it to cool,
and contact Customer Support (see page 14). Do not try to
repair it yourself.
Allow the volumizer to cool, then store it out of reach of
children in a safe, dry location. Do not jerk or strain cord or
store with tight bends or folds in the cord.
CAUTION: Never allow the power supply cord to be pulled
or twisted. Only pull the cord from an outlet by the plug.
Never wrap the cord around the volumizer. Do not put too
much tension on the area where the cord connects to the
volumizer. This may cause damage, causing it to rupture
and short circuit. Inspect the cord frequently for damage.
Stop using immediately if damage is visible or if the
volumizer stops unexpectedly or works intermittently.
Note: When using this volumizer near water (such as in
bathrooms), we recommend using an electrical outlet
protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter.
