2.
Insert the battery which is loose until the screw cap is securely fitted. The correct polarity is marked
inside the compartment.
3.
Close the battery compartment by placing the sealing cap into the thread and turning it clockwise. The
battery will now be fixed automatically.
4.
Switch the microphone on with the
On/Off
switch (1). The battery indicator control lamp (2) comes on
brielly. It it stays on it signals that the battery is discharged. You should then replace the battery.
5.
The appliance should always be switched off when not in
use
to save the battery. When not in use for
longer periods, the battery must be removed, otherwise there is a danger of the battery leaking and
damaging the microphone.
Consider the environment:
Please do not throw used batteries away with your domestic rubbish but hand

3.2. Reception unit
1.
First connect the 12 Volt plug-in power supply unit (C ) to the low voltage socket (9). Then connect the
plug-in power supply unit to the mains supply (230 V
I50
Hz).
2.
Then connect the audio lead (D) to the audio output socket (6) on the receiver. Connect the other end to
the microphone input socket of your hi-fi appliance (amplifier tape deck etc.). If your hi-fi appliance does
not have any microphone socket please ask your dealer for support.
3.
To achieve the microphone range given, the aerial must be fully extended and as vertical as possible.
3.3. Tuning the microphone and reception unit
1.
First ensure that your hi-fi appliance is set up correctly (input select, volume control etc.).
2.
Then switch on the microphone and watch the reception lamp (5) at the reception unit. Tune with the small
screwdriver (F) the frequency adjustment control (3) at the microphone until the reception lamp comes
on. Your microphone set is now tuned and ready for use.
3.
If the reception is disturbed or if you want to use 2 microphones at the same time, you can select another
channel at the reception unit. Use channel selection switch (8) and proceed as described in step 2. Impor-
tant: we recommend not to use more than 2 microphones at the same time.
4.
If the microphone is switched off or the distance between the microphone and the reception unit is too
far distorsion may appear. By adjustment of of the squelch control (7) with the small screwdriver (F)
you can minimize this.
