Overview
The FD9367-EHTV-v2 is an outdoor xed dome network camera capable of 1920 x 1080 at
30 fps. With the VIVOTEK WDR Pro technology, the camera series is capable of capturing
the highest quality images in both low light and high contrast environments.
The onboard IR can provide illumination in total darkness. With the Smart IR feature, the
rmware automatically adjusts the IR intensity for objects that came too close, in order to
avoid over-exposure.
The cameras support WDR function at the effectiveness of up to 120dB. These models
support local video stroage on the MicroSD cards if network service should be interrupted.
The cameras also come with congurable motion detection and tampering detection with
up to 5 privacy mask areas.

Read Before Use
The use of surveillance devices may be prohibited by law in your country. The Network Camera
is not only a high-performance web-ready camera but can also be part of a exible surveillance
system. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the operation of such devices is legal before
installing this unit for its intended use.
It is important to first verify that all contents received are complete according to the Package
Contents listed below. Take note of the warnings in the Quick Installation Guide before the Network
Camera is installed; then carefully read and follow the instructions in the Installation chapter to
avoid damage due to faulty assembly and installation. This also ensures the product is used
properly as intended.
The Network Camera is a network device and its use should be straightforward for those who
have basic networking knowledge. It is designed for various applications including video sharing,
general security/surveillance, etc. The Configuration chapter suggests ways to best utilize the
Network Camera and ensure proper operations. For creative and professional developers, the URL
Commands of the Network Camera section serves as a helpful reference to customizing existing
homepages or integrating with the current web server.

IMPORTANT:
1. The product must be installed and protected in a location that is not easily accessible,
and is away from impacts or heavy vibration. For example, at the location where the
surveillance cameras are looking down or installed at high positions such as on a wall,
or at least 3 meters above the ground.
2. The camera should be installed at least 10 centimeters away from the eave of a building.
3. If powered by a power adapter, the adapter should be properly grounded.
4. Maintenance and repair work must always be carried out by qualified technical
personnel.
5. Disconnect power from the unit when performing a maintenance task.
6. Please contact VIVOTEK's certied dealers for power adapters.

IMPORTANT:
1. The camera is only to be connected to PoE networks without routing to outside plants.
2. For PoE connection, use only UL listed I.T.E. with PoE output.

Use the camera only with a DC power supply that is UL listed, and limited power source
(LPS) certied. The power supply should bear the UL listed and LPS marks. The power
supply should also meet any safety and compliance requirements for the country of use.

IMPORTANT:
The equipment comes with a RTC battery. Note the following:
• Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard (for
example, in the case of some lithium battery types);
• Disposal of a battery into re or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a
battery, that can result in an explosion;
• Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can
result in an explosion or the leakage of ammable liquid or gas; and
• A battery subjected to extremely low aire pressure that may result in an explosion or the
leakage of ammale liquid or gas.

1.Jot down the camera's MAC address for later reference.

3.Disassemble the camera from its base plate by pulling the retention clip up and turning
the camera counter-clockwise.

If you prefer routing cables through a conduit pipe, refer to the Installation option B.
Use the alignment stick to drill mounting holes and a routing hole on a wall or ceiling.

5.Remove the silicon seal from the camera.

6.Remove the tip of the silicon seal. Insert the RJ45 connector of your Ethernet cable into
the penetration cap.

7.Insert and pass the cable through the silicon seal.
If grommets are damaged, replace them with new ones.
8.Install the silicon seal to the original opening from the
bottom of the camera. .

9.The I/O combo cable comes with a pre-installed seal. Install the cable to the opening and
place I/O wires in the cable clip. Note the orientation of the I/O pin headers.
Connect the I/O pin headers and the Ethernet connector to the camera.
10. When installing the silicon grommet, make sure the cable is slightly pulled back to the
outside. Do not leave the rim of the seal jammed in the inside of the seal.

11. If preferred, install a MicroSD card to the camera. You can connect a WiFi dongle to the
camera's micro USB port for an onsite adjustment of imaging and the shooting direction.
You can use a notebook to connect the camera at the installation site.
Refer to Step 21.

12. Below are the pinouts of the I/O combo cable. If you prefer more audio, DC, and I/
O connections, you can purchase and install an extension kit. Refer to the installation
option A section for more information.

1. Stretch the waterproof tape by twice its length and
wind around the cables.
2. The tape should overlap the cable joints by 20mm.
3. All connectors, whether they are used or not,
should be waterproof.

14. Remove the seal on the dehumidier breathe hole from the back of the camera. Use a
crimping plier to connect a grounding wire to the ground screw.

15. Assemble the camera with its base plate. Lower the camera with its protruding tab into
the opening on the side of the groove.

The camera supports the corridor view. You can turn the lens module 90 degrees to
obtain a vertical view.

20. Install the sun shield using the 2 screws you previously removed.
If tilted 40 ~ 60 degrees, and IR is on top,
IR
will have a black-out
area.
Note that the sun shield can create a black-out area if the IR module is on top, when in a
light mode.
