INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
CHARGING
POWER ON/OFF
To begin charging the watch, expose the USB connector by removing the associated
watchstrap covering it. The location is marked with an . Please connect the
USB end of the watch to a USB port or power adapter (not supplied) until the charging
icon appears on the screen.
Long press the Virtual Key
to switch on your Active.

the “Off” option is selected from the
“More” menu.

CONNECTING THE WATCH WITH A MOBILE PHONE
1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
2. Pair your smartphone with the watch (see “Locating the Bluetooth Menu”
for more details).
3. Open “Volkano Active App” on your smart phone, set your profile from
the Settings menu in the “My Profile” tab.
4. Tap “Connect the smart watch” in the Settings Menu.
5. Select “VK-5068” from the list of devices.
6. A success prompt will appear on-screen. Tap “Next” to navigate to
the App’s dashboard.
INSTALLING THE VOLKANO ACTIVE APP
To download the Volkano Active App, please
direct your browser to the following website:
volkano.co.za/active-app or scan the QR
code from your phone.

CONNECTING WITH PAIRED DEVICES
Once the Volkano Active is turned on, it will automatically connect with the last
paired Bluetooth device that is on and within range. If the Volkano Active does
not connect automatically, open the Bluetooth menu on your device and select
“VK-5068” from the Bluetooth device list.
LOCATING THE BLUETOOTH MENU
iPhone
a) On your iPhone device, go to “Settings”.
b) Select “Bluetooth”. If Bluetooth is not on, turn it on.
c) Then open the Volkano Active App. Go to “Settings”, click “Connect the
smartwatch”. You will see different options.
d) Choose “VK-5068” and click “Connect”.
Android™ Phones
a) On your Android phone, go to “Settings”.
b) Select “Bluetooth” (on older Android devices Bluetooth is found in
the Wireless & Networks menu). If Bluetooth is not on, turn it on.
c) Then open the Volkano Active App. Go to “Settings”, click “Connect the
smartwatch”. You will see different options.
d) Choose “VK-5068” and click “Connect”.

UNBIND THE VOLKANO ACTIVE FROM A MOBILE PHONE
1. Open “Volkano Active App” on your smartphone.
2. Tap “Disconnect Smart Watch” on Settings.
3. Forget your device on your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings.
To do this, please refer to your smartphone’s instruction manual.
CONTROLS
• Press the “Virtual Key” to switch the main menu interface.
• Long press the “Virtual Key” to “Confirm”.
• Long hold the “Virtual Key” to switch on the watch from its powered-off state.

From the “More” menu, select the watch dashboard icon. Swipe the “Virtual Key” to
browse the selection of dashboard looks. Long press the “Virtual Key” to confirm
your selection.
WATCH FACE
The watch will record your daily activity automatically.
After synchronizing with Volkano Active App, you can
check your steps taken, calories and distance data on
your smartphone. Swipe the “Virtual Key” to switch
between these displays.
PEDOMETER

MULTI-SPORT
Long press the “Virtual Key” to enter the Multi-sports function once it is selected.
The Volkano Active has six multi-sports modes: walking, running, biking and hiking.
Choose your desired mode by long pressing the “Virtual Key”.
The Volkano Active will record the data of the selected sports mode and send it to
the Volkano Active App.
To exit the sports function, long press the “Virtual Key” until the countdown
displayed reaches zero. The watch will show your sports data. After synchronizing
with Volkano Active App, you can check your sports record.
Please note that if the sports time less than one minute, the data will not be saved.
