
CONVECTION OVEN
Models 40701 and 40703 ONLY
Grill Function – Used to grill or brown after the food is fully cooked
1. Place the shelf in the desired location for grilling. Assure the food product is not
too close to or touching the inside top or heater.
2. Switch the bake control knob to the grill function indicated by the icon on the
bake control knob.
3. Set the grill control knob to the desired temperature.
4. The grill pilot light will indicate when the elements are energized.
Note: The fan will not operate when in the grill function.
Model 40702 ONLY
Humidity Function – Used to provide a heavier crust on bread or rolls
1. Press the green push button to activate a spray of water into the cooking
chamber.
2. The humidity function works best if activated at the beginning of the baking cycle
when the oven has reached the set cooling temperature and the product has just
been placed into the oven.
3. Humidity should only be injected in 2-second pulses.

DO NOT SPRAY OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT OR CONTROLS WITH LIQUID OR
CLEANING PRODUCT. LIQUID COULD ENTER THE ELECTRICAL
COMPARTMENT AND CAUSE A SHORT CIRCUIT OR ELECTRIC SHOCK.
Cleaning:
1. Allow unit to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or any other liquid.
3. At the end of each baking cycle clean the unit with mild soap and water; rinse
thoroughly. Caustic based cleaners are not recommend and should not be used.
4. Shelves and sheet pans should be cleaned with hot soapy water or in your
dishwasher.
Repair:
Replacement of oven light:
1. Allow unit to cool completely before servicing.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the electrical power supply
3. Unscrew the oven light glass cover and replace the lamp with the correct
specification oven light. The oven light must be rated for the high temperature
within the oven and must match the nameplate voltage.
