Installation
Technical specification
Fasten the flood light bracket to the mounting surface with stainless steel bolts or similar
suitable mounting accessories
Adjust the flood light to direct the light output as required, then tighten the adjustment
screws on each side of the flood light
If hard-wiring the flood light, remove the 3-pin plug and connect the cable as follows:
∆Brown – Active/Live
∆Blue – Neutral
∆Yellow/Green – Earth
All hard-wiring connections must be protected by means of a suitable IP rated junction box
or connector
Ensure the flex is installed to minimise tension at all connection points

The flood light can be installed on a wall, ceiling, or horizontal surface, as shown below.

IMPORTANT NOTES
All fixed wiring and installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
The light source of this flood light is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end
of life, the whole flood light must be replaced.
If the supplied connection flex is damaged on arrival, please return the flood light to Voltex.
Do not disassemble the flood light to replace the flex.
Do not use chemicals or corrosive cleaners to clean the flood light.
The flood light must be Earthed.
The minimum distance from flammable objects to flood light must be kept at least 0.3m.
If the glass fascia is damaged, do not replace. Please return to Voltex.
The non-rewireable mains plug provided for connection of the flood light to the supply
does not have the equivalent IP rating of the flood light. Where the equivalent degree of
protection is required, remove the non-rewireable plug and replace it with a suitably rated
plug/socket combination or connect the lead (tails) to fixed wiring by means of a suitably
rated junction box.
