qualified electricians. Contact a qualified electrician in the event of fault or
break down.
● A circuit breaker (250VAC, 10A) type C according to EN60898-1 of load 1 (↓/
T1) must be installed in the fixed wiring for protection.
A circuit breaker (250VAC, 6A) type C according to EN60898-1 of load 2
(T2A,T2B) must be installed in the fixed wiring for protection.
● If using power tools, ensure that they are set to a low torque setting.
Test Function
Under Test mode the load will switch on for 3 sec to each detection, and switch off
for 2 sec before next detection. Under Test mode the Lux setting is deactivated.
Day Mode Function
Under Day Mode the sensor can operate regardless of brightness level.

INSTALLATION AND WIRING
FIG. 1 FIG. 2 FIG. 3 FIG. 4

Knockouts for Power Cable Entry
There are several layers of knockout at the cable entry where can be trimmed
according to the size of power cable to be connected. The existing cable entry is
suitable for cable size Ø2.5~4mm. Trim the lower knockouts gradually by layer to
reach the ideal space for cable size Ø5~10mm. If more space is required, please
also trim upper knockout gradually by layer to reach the space up to Ø15mm.

Installation Procedure
1. To install the detector, please drill a hole with diameter of 64~68mm on ceiling
board and keep the power cable outside. Please strip off 6 - 8mm of cable
sheathing for wiring (FIG.6).
2. Please refer to illustration of FIG.5 for correct wiring.
3. Insert the power module into the ceiling first, raise the two spring clips, and
insert the detector into the drilled hole on ceiling (FIG.7).
4. Detection range can be extended with additional slave sensors.
5. Restore the power supply.

Walk Test
It takes about 60 sec for sensor to warm up after power is supplied. The purpose
of walk test is to check and adjust the detection coverage at the installation of
sensor. Set Time VR knob to “Test”, and then conduct the walk test. Pay attention
to the walking direction in the walk test. The sensor is more sensitive to movement
across the detection range and less sensitive to movement directly towards it. The
load will switch ON for 3 sec for each movement detected, and switch OFF for 2
sec before next trigger. Set the Time VR knob to the desired setting after walk test.
When using IR remote control to enter Test mode, it will exit Test mode after 10
min. The sensor LED indicator will stay ON during the warm up period. For remote
controllable models, the sensor LED indicator will blink during the warm up period
if the sensor has previously been programmed via remote control..
Usage of Lens Shield
Undesired detection areas can be shielded off by fixing the enclosed lens shield
onto the lens. Trim the lens shield with scissors either horizontally or vertically until
the desired detection area is obtained.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. Unit will not function at all/Lights won’t turn on
- Check wiring to make sure that you have correct AC power at the unit.
- Check the wiring from the unit to the source of power to make sure you have
wired the unit correctly.
- Check the ambient light control to see if it was set at your desired level.
2. Detector clicks but does not work
- Check if lamps are broken.
- Check if lamps are tight in lampholders.
3. Lights go on and off quickly
- Ensure light and heat are not being reflected onto the detector. Check for white
or reflective surfaces that may be causing the problem.

- Note the detector is more sensitive in cold weather.
- Make sure the sensor is not installed close to air-conditioner.
- Make sure the Time setting is not set to Test Mode position.
4. Lights stay on
- Light bulb sockets may be wired directly to the power source -Recheck the
wiring diagram.
- Adjust time to minimum, and ensure unit is firmly fixed to a solid object with
no moving branches etc. in field of view.
- Ensure detector is not being activated by stray moving heat sources such as
heating outlets.
- Fit the lens shield to eliminate triggering outside detection field.
- Reduce the sensitivity level.
5. Detector goes on under windy and rainy conditions
- Adverse weather conditions and temperature changes can result in unwanted
activations.
- This can be minimized by mounting in a protected location.
6. Maintenance and repair
- Do not attempt to repair as this could invalidate warranty or result in personal
injury.
- Clean detector lens and outside casing with damp cloth.
