5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Turning the unit on
Momentarily press the blackЭ button. Listen for a
double beep to confirm activation of the unit.
A continual VoltBeat flash visually indicates the
unit is active
2) Turning the unit OFF
Press and hold the black Эbutton for more than 1
second. Listen for a long 1 second beep to confirm
deactivation of the unit. The absence of the VoltBeat
flash indicates the unit is inactive
3) VoltBeat(system self test)
VoltBeat is a self –test feature for visually confirming
battery and system integrity, and power-on. It provides
once flash every 1 second during normal operation.
4) Checking for the presence of AC voltage &
radialization
Placing the tip of the unit near an AC voltage and
display produces a steady glow at the tip and
(if enabled) a continual beep
5) Auto power off
After about 3 minutes of non-use, the unit automatically
performs a power off to save batteries. A longer beep
provides an audible indication of the event.
The absence of the VoltBeat flash serves as a visual
power-off indication
6) Flashlight on & off
Press and hold the back black button for flashlight
on, if button undo for flashlight off
6. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the battery voltage drops below 2 volts VoltBeat
provides a visual indication by stopping the VoltBeat
flash. Replace with 2 AAA batteries. Slide the battery
cover (○3/Fig) and remove the battery. Make sure the
battery cover is secure after changing the battery.
NOTE : If it will be not in use for long time, please
remove battery.
