VAR11N150MMiniWIFIRouterisdesignedspeciallytomeettheneedsforbusiness
peoplewhotravelfrequentlyandthatneedWIFInetwork.ItisbasedonIEEE
802.11Nstandard,canspreadWIFI networkwideandsupply thestabletransmission
up to150Mbpsrateand alsois compatiblefor IEEE802.11BandIEEE802.11G
standard.
VAR11Niswithsmall appearanceandlighttocarry.Itcantransferwirednetwork
signal toWIFIsignal easily,and lettheusersthathasiPad,tabletcomputerand
smartphonethatiswithoutwirednetworkfunctionshareinternetnetworkbyWi-Fi.
Atthesametime,VAR11Nsuppliesthree powersupply modes, omitstheworriesto
carrya largeamountof poweradapters, and is flexibleforusage;plug andplay,and
supply multipleworkmodeand meettheflexiblenetworksolutions.VAR11N iswith

InWIFIroutermode,this port isusedasLANport,itis RJ45 portoflocal areanetwork,

Remark:InWIFIroutermode,WANportand LANportcanbeexchanged.

2.2 Reset
Ifyou needrestorefactorysettings, pleasemakesure therouteris powered, then longpress
RESET button, duringlongpressing, pleaseobservethesystemstatus pilotlight, afterabout
5 seconds, when thepilotlightis frombrightto extinguish, it means it is resetsuccessfully,
this moment,you loosenRESET button, router will reboot.
2.3 SystermRequirement

This chapter introduces how toconnectVAR11Nandachievemultiplecomputersto
sharenetworksuccessfully. If youjustconfigurethebasis setting,youjustneedread
this chaptercontents. If youneedadvancedconfiguration, pleasecontinuereading
thefollow-up contents.
3.1 Work ModeIntroduction
3.1.1 WIFI Router Mode
Inthismode,VAR11NdefaultEthernetcableas LANport,theportasWANport,users
canswitchduring workmode.Thefollowing diagramis thestatusconnectionafter
switching(afterswitching,Ethernetcableas WANport usage,theport as LANport
usage), connectVAR11NtoADSLModemor wirednetwork, thensharethepower
supply toVAR11N,thewholehousecanachieveWIFIcoverageeasily.Smartphones,
tabletcomputerand otherWIFIdevicescangetWIFIsignal inanycornerofthis house.
Inthismode, VAR11NDHCPservershould beopen, wesuggesttosettheIPaddress

3.1.2 WIFI Bridge Mode
WIFI bridgemodeincludesfourkinds ofconnections: Hotelmode(Access Point),
RepeaterMode(Repeater), Bridgemode(BridgewithAP) andClientmode(Client). This
moment, VAR11NRJ45 port as LANport.
Thefollowingis about thefourconnections offourmodes:
Hotel Mode
Inthis mode,VAR11NcantransferwirednetworktoWIFInetwork.VAR11Nconnect
towirednetwork, computer/WIFImobilephone/tabletcomputercanconnectto
VAR11NtogetnetworkbyWIFI. Pleaseseethefollowing connectiondiagramofthis

RepeatermodeisusedforexpandingtheWIFI signalcoverageof APorWIFI router.
Inthismode,RJ45portas LANport, computercanbeconnectedtoVAR11Nthrough
wiredorWIFI. Theencryptionmethodof VAR11Nand WIFIrouter shouldbethe
same, SSID is WIFI routername+thelasttwocharacters ofVAR11N,userscan
changeVAR11NSSIDandencryptionmethod.Pleasesee thefollowingconnection

BridgemodeissimilarwithRepeatermode, isusedforexpanding theWIFI signal
coverageofAPorWIFIrouter.ToavoidtheIP address conflictwith theWIFIrouter,
theIPaddressofVAR11NLANportshouldbechangedtodifferent IPaddress ofWIFI
router.Inthismode,VAR11NDHCPserverisclosed,if youneedloginthewebpageof
VAR11N, youshouldconfigurethecomputerIP addressinthesamesegmentofWIFI

Client Mode(Client)
Theclientmodeissimilarwithwireless networkcard,itis usedforconnectingWIFIhot
spotsignal or WIFIrouter,canmakethedeviceswithout wireless functiontojoinWIFI
network.ToavoidIPaddress conflictwithWIFIrouter, theIP address ofLANport
shouldbechangedtothedifferent IP address fromWIFIrouter.Inthismode,
VAR11NDHCPserverisclosed,ifyouneedloginthewebpageofVAR11N,youshould
configurethecomputerIPaddressinthesamesegmentofWIFIroutermanually.

4.1 Buildcorrect IPconfiguration
ThedefaultLANIP addressof VAR11Nis 192.168.1.254, thedefaultsubnetmask is
255.255.255.0.Thedatacanbechangedbasedonactualneed,buttheinstructionis
accordingtothedefault.ThissectiontakesWindows 7systemfor example,

1. Rightclick Local AreaConnection, chooseProperty .
2. Doubleclick Internet Protocol Version4(TCP/IPv4)
3. InWIFIroutermode,pleasechooseObtainanIP addressautomatically andObtain
DNSserveraddress automatically,clickOK,thenreturn thelastinterface,click OK,
pleasesee thefollowingpicture:

4. InWIFIBridgemode,becauseVAR11NDHCP serverisclosedand can’tassignIP
address forcomputer,thenyoushouldconfiguretheIP address forLocal Area
connectionmanuallytologinthewebpageofVAR11N.TheIPaddress of
computer shouldbeconfiguredto192.168.1.X(2≤X≤253),thesubnetmask to
255.255.255.0.Pleasesee thefollowing picture,click confirm.Returntothe
lastinterface,click confirm,pleasesee thefollowingpicture:

TheUSBportpilotlightof VAR11Nandnetwork cardofcomputershouldbeblink.
2) WhethertheconfigurationofcomputerTCP/IP iscorrect?
If theIP addressis configuredmanually, pleasemakesureifVAR11NIP addressis
192.168.1.254,computerIP addressmustbeautomatic obtainedor 192.168.1.X
(Xis anyintegernumberfrom2 to253),subnetmask is 255.255.255.0.

4.2 Connectto WIFInetwork
If youneedloginWebpageof VAR11N, firstpleasemakesurecomputerormobile
phonemustconnecttoVAR11Nwirelessnetwork orLANport.
4.2.1 Windows 7 WIFI connect
HeretakeWindows7 forexample.
1) Click intherightbottom,inthefollowinglists,chooseVAR11N_VAR11N,then
click Connect.
2) If routerhas beenconfiguredwireless encryption, thefollowingpagewill be
appeared,theninput thepre-setpassword,click OK.

3) Whenthepagedisplays Connected, itmeansnetworkcardhas beenconnected
VAR11NWIFI router.

5.2OperatingMode
Click operating modebutton,canswitchoperating mode, suchas Routermodeand
WIFI Bridge(Bridge+WIFI SignalRepeater)mode,see thefollowingpicture:
