Never blend ice on its own.
The Blender is fitted with an interlocking
safety switch. All components must be
correctly assembled before use in order
for the appliance to operate.
When using for the first time, your Ultra

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using this appliance for the first time, please ensure you complete the following
steps:
• Remove all packaging and labels.
• Inspect the product for any damage and check
that all parts are included.
WARNING! Do not use the Ultra Blender if any
parts are missing or damaged.
• Before initial use, wash all removable
components using warm soapy water and dry
thoroughly.
• Wash the BLENDING JARS and BLADE UNIT
with warm water and mild detergent. Dry
thoroughly before assembly.
CAUTION: Take extra care when washing
the BLADE UNIT as the BLENDING BLADES
attached are very sharp.
NOTE: The BLENDING BLADES are non-
detachable from the BLADE UNIT.
• Wipe down the MAIN UNIT using a clean damp
cloth.
WARNING! Do not immerse the MAIN UNIT,
cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
ASSEMBLY
4
• Position the MOTOR UNIT on a stable, level,
heat-resistant work surface. Firmly push down so
the suction feet stick to the surface.
• Add your chosen ingredients to the preferred
BLENDING JAR. (See the ‘Recipes’ page for
ideas).
CAUTION: Do not exceed maximum capacity
marker.
CAUTION: Do not add any hot liquids to the
BLENDING JARS.
CAUTION: If you are choosing to blend ice with
your ingredients, we highly recommend adding
a small amount of liquid to the BLENDING
JAR to prevent any possible damage to the
BLENDING BLADES. Do not pack with large ice
cubes.
IMPORTANT: Add enough ice to ensure the
BLENDING BLADES are covered.
NOTE: We recommend adding a small amount
of liquid to any of the ingredients you are using
to help the blending function.
• With the ingredients added, screw the BLADE
UNIT onto the open end of the BLENDING JAR
and ensure it is securely attached.

OPERATION
IMPORTANT: For your safety, the Ultra Blender
is fitted with an interlocking safety switch. All
components must be correctly assembled and
fitted to the MOTOR UNIT in order for the
blending function to operate.
CAUTION: Ensure the MOTOR UNIT is
disconnected from the mains before attaching
the BLENDING JAR/BLADE UNIT to prevent
accidental starting.
• Invert the assembled BLENDING JAR/BLADE
UNIT and align the tabs with the small openings
on the MOTOR UNIT.
• Connect the appliance to a suitable mains
socket to begin blending
• Once aligned, turn the assembled BLENDING
JAR/BLADE UNIT clockwise to lock into place.
CAUTION: Do not operate continuously for
more than 1 minute at a time in order to avoid
the appliance overheating. If more blending
is required, allow the appliance to rest before
blending again.
NOTE: For ‘pulse-like’ blending, instead of
locking into place, firmly push and hold down
the BLENDING JAR when placed onto the
MOTOR UNIT.
• Once you are happy with the consistency of
the ingredients, unlock the BLENDING JAR/
BLADE UNIT from the MOTOR UNIT by twisting
anticlockwise to release.
• Disconnect the MOTOR UNIT from the mains
and allow to cool.
• Invert the BLENDING JAR and unscrew the
BLADE UNIT from the top.
NOTE: We recommend rinsing the BLADE
UNIT immediately after removing it from the
BLENDING JAR. Leaving ingredients to dry on
the blades will make the blades more difficult
to clean.
• Replace the BLADE UNIT with the SPILL-PROOF
LID or SIP & SEAL LID. Ensure the LID is tightly
screwed on top.
• The BLENDING JAR can be placed in the
refrigerator for later consumption (time scale
for consumption will depend on the ingredients
chosen).

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• To clean the MOTOR UNIT, wipe with a damp cloth. A multi-purpose spray cleaner may be used.
CAUTION: Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or metal scourer pads as continued use will
scratch the surface and make subsequent cleaning more difficult.
WARNING! Do not immerse the MOTOR UNIT in water or any other liquid to clean.
• It is recommended that you wash the BLADE UNIT by hand using warm soapy water and a sponge.
• The BLADE UNIT may need to be left to soak in warm water for several minutes to remove any clogged
ingredients around the BLENDING BLADES.
CAUTION: Take extra care when cleaning the BLADE UNIT as it is very sharp. We recommend using a
small cleaning brush to avoid contact with the BLENDING BLADES.
TIP: To clean the BLENDING JARS, add a small amount of washing up liquid to the JAR and fill with warm
water. Attach the BLADE UNIT on top, then fit onto the MOTOR UNIT. Connect the appliance to the
mains for a few seconds to clean before disconnecting. Remove the BLENDING JAR/BLADE UNIT and
rinse thoroughly under running water.
• Wash the SPILL-PROOF LIDS in warm water with mild detergent. Leave to soak to remove any odours.
• Dry all removable components thoroughly before reassembling. Store the appliance in a dry place, out of
reach of children.
IMPORTANT: Always store the BLENDING JARS without the SPILL-PROOF LIDS or BLADE UNIT attached.
CAUTION: Do not use the BLENDING JARS to store food or blended ingredients. Do not freeze or
microwave.
CAUTION: Before carrying out cleaning or maintenance,
disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow to cool.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM SOLUTION
• Check that the appliance is connected to a
suitable mains socket.
• The Ultra Blender is fitted with an
interlocking safety switch which requires all
parts to be correctly fitted in order for the
appliance to work. Refer to the ‘Assembly’
section for guidance on correct assembly.
• Ensure maximum capacity of the chosen jar
has not been exceeded.
• Hard fruits and vegetables should be diced
before adding to the BLENDING JAR
• Allow any warm ingredients to cool before
blending.
• Too much ice may have been added.
Always add a small amount of water of
other required liquids to help with the
blending function. Never pack BLENDING
JAR with ice.
• Blend ingredients a while longer. Ensure
you allow the appliance to rest before
blending further.
• Ensure the ingredients used are suitable
for use with this Ultra Blender. Foods such
as cheese and chocolate are not suitable.
• Pulse blending may be best suited for
certain ingredients. Firmly press down on
the BLENDING JAR once placed on the
MOTOR UNIT rather than twist and lock.
• Add a small amount of liquid and then
re-blend.
ULTRA BLENDER WILL NOT
START.
BLENDING STOPS DURING
OPERATION.
DESIRED CONSISTENCY HAS NOT
BEEN ACHIEVED.
