Installation and instruction manual
We cordially congratulate you for purchasing the VOSS.sonic 2800
ultrasonic system. The VOSS.sonic 2800 is an ultrasonic system
of the latest generation. You can use this repeller to protect your
garden, carport, garage, warehouse, house, attic and many other
places against unwanted guests.
The combined use of selectable ultrasonic frequencies and a
switchable ashing light also repells persistent vermin.
The VOSS.sonic 2800 is an all-round device for repelling dogs,
cats, foxes, martens, hedgehogs, mice, rats, badgers, deer,
raccoons, hares/rabbits, herons and birds.Installation and positio-
ning

During a simultaneous use of battery and mains adapter, the device
is also ready for operation in case of power failure. The device then
switches automatically to battery power.
Tip
In outdoor locations, the device should be approximately 15 cm
above the ground. This provides an ideal coverage area and
a good ultrasonic transmission.
Tip
Installation and positioning
The VOSS.sonic 2800 is splash-proof and can be used indoors as
well as outdoors.
In dry places that are protected against water, you can simply place
the VOSS.sonic 2800 on the ground. For outdoor installation (eg. in
the garden), we recommend the installation post supplied. A xing
slot on the back of the device makes a wall installation possible.
You can exibly use the VOSS.sonic 2800 in places where you
need it.
Please note: Ultrasound spreads straightforward and does not
penetrate any building materials. The ultrasonic signal is not
eective behind objects that are in the
sphere of inuence.
Under certain circumstances,
many devices should be
installed in order to ensure
a complete deterrence.
Preparation and function
The operation of the VOSS.sonic 2800 is done using 4x 1.5 V mono
D batteries or a 230 V mains adapter. A simultaneous operation
using battery and a 230 V mains adapter is possible.
Ensure that the device is switched o before you insert the batteries
or connect the mains adapter. Batteriebetrieb

Operation and application
When switching the device on, a red control LED on the upper half
of the viewing window lights up for approximately 5 seconds.
After 25 more than seconds, the device is totally ready for
operation.
The motion detector will now be triggered. After a short, acoustic
starting click, the device emits ultrasonic sounds for approximately
9 seconds. The signal lamp behind the motion detector also lights
up red as a visible function control.
The VOSS.sonic 2800 begins to work as soon as the motion detector
is triggered.
The device is now ready for operation.Battery operation
Battery operation
In order to open, push down the cover on the back of the device.
Insert the batteries according to the markings. Then carefully close
the cover again.
The lifetime of the batteries depends on many factors:
Number of releases, use of ash, surrounding temperature.
NOTE: Batteries that are not fully charged cannot release the ash.
This occurs when the voltage (system performance of the 4 batte-
ries) is lower than 3.6 V.
If the voltage drops below 3.4 volts, even the ultrasonic sounds will
not emit precisely enough. The batteries are very weak and have to
be replaced.
Operation - Mains adapter (230 V) (not included in Item-No.: 45340)
The mains adapter included in delivery is splash-proof, robust,
weather-resistant and appropriate for the outdoor use.
When you operate the device using the mains adapter, remove the
moisture prevention cover on the side of the unit and insert the
adapter pin completely.
