Replacing TPHK8T(S)E Series Mechanical Seal
1. Removing mech seal. WI-D3-S-B051E-1
Place the pump on work bench.
Loose the screws and remove the motor fan
cover.
Using Allen wrench to remove the motor fan.
Loose the nuts on straps.
Remove the 3 straps.
Remove the suction intercon-nector.

Using wrench to loose the lock nut.
Remove the lock nut.
Remove all impellers, sleeves and
intermediate chambers.
Place all impellers, sleeves and intermediate
chambers in order.
Remove the cap.
Remove the spring.

Remove the rotary parts of mechanical seal.
Remove the stationary part.

2. Assembling mech seal.
Spray water on the shaft as lubrication.
Place the stationary part in position and press in.
Before press in rotary parts, insert the
sleeve through the pump shaft aligning the
slots on sleeve to tabs on washer.
Remove the cap and press in rotary parts.
Place the spring onto rotary parts.
Place the cap onto rotary parts.

Place back all impellers, sleeves and
intermediate chambers in order.
Place the lock nut.
Using wrench to tighten up the lock nut.
※torque 210-300 kgf．cm
Place the suction intercon-nector.
Install the 3 straps.
Tighten up the nuts on straps.
※Torque 160-180 kgf．cm

Remove the filter.
Rotate the shaft and make sure no rubbing noise
inside. Otherwise, loose the screws and repeat the
above process until the rotation is smooth.
Install the filter.
※Torque 35 kgf．㎝
Install the motor fan.
※Torque 10 kgf．㎝
Install the motor fan cover.
※Torque 25 kgf．㎝
