Replacing TQ200 Mechanical Seal
1.Removing mech seal. WI-D3-S-B001E-2
Using Allen wrench (metric size) to remove the 6
screws.
Using wrench to remove the stud bolt.
Remove the 2nd stage impeller.
Remove the intermediate chamber.
Remove the 1st stage impeller.
Remove the rotary parts of mechanical seal.

Remove ceramic parts from mech seal kit.
Remove the stationary part (rubber) of the mechanical
seal.

2.Assembling mech seal.
Spray water on the shaft as lubrication.
Place the stationary part in position and press in.
Put on the gasket and protection cover on the rotary
part of the mechanical seal
Put on the rotary part of mechanical seal
Press in the rotary parts.
Identify impellers –shorter shaft is the 1st stage while
longer one is 2nd stage.

Assemble the 1st stage impeller.
Assemble intermediate chamber.
Assemble the 2nd stage impeller.
Tighten up the stud bolt.
Install O-ring onto pressure tank.
(make sure it is clean)
Install the pressure tank.
(arrow on top position)

Identify different sizes of stud bolts.
Install shorter stud bolts on the red circled places.
Tighten up the stud bolts.
