4.Onceyouaresasedthatyoufullyacknowledgeandunderstandtheapplicablelaws,ensure
thatyoureadthefollowingsafetyinstrucons.
PREPERATION
1.Eachpassengermustwearadequateclothingandasuitablelifejacket.
2.Ensurethatthestandardboatequipmentisonboardandtforuse.Thisincludestheoars,
footpumpandrepairkit.Notethataddionalsurvivalequipmentmaybeneccessary.
3.Theboatshouldneverbeoperatedbyperson(s)undertheinuenceofalcoholordrugs.
4. Do not exceed the maximum load rang or maximum engine power indicated within this
instruconleaet/buildersplate.
5.Ensurethatyoufactorwind&depaernsbeforedisembarking.Anyvariaoninthesecan
haveaneectonfuelconsumpon.
6. Consult with local authority to familiarise yourself with any dangers and hazards before
navigangwithinunfamiliarwaters.
7.Informsomeoneonshoreofyourmeandpointofdeparture,yourrouteandtheesmated
methatyouwillreturn.
8.Donotnavigatewithindarkcondionswithoutanynavigaonallighnginstalled.Checkall
navigaonalproductsinstalledarefullyworking.
9.Itisthedurtoftheboatoperatortoknowandfullyunderstandmarimeregulaonsandto
enquireaboutweatherandwatercondionsbeforeheadingouttosea.
10.Ensureallsurvivalequipment(signalares,rstaidkit,anchoretc)arefullychecked.
11.Donotuseacompressedairsourcetoinatetheboat.Overinaonmaycausetheseams
to rupture. Note that no inatable product is 100% airght, and that it is normal for your
cratoloseairduringlongperiodsofacvity/inacvity.Ifexcessivepressureislost,seizeuse
immediatelyandcontactyourdealer.
12.Considercarefullywhetheroarsorasmalloutboardmotorshouldbeuseddependingonsea
condions.Thepowermaynotbeenoughtocounterdalcurrentsorshallowwater.
13.DONOTEXCEEDRECOMMENDEDENGINEPOWERRATINGS!Anoutboardenginewithtoo
muchpowercanbeverydangerousandmayresultinseriousconsequences.
14.Ifyouintendtouseanoutboardengine,ensurethatyoutanemergencykill-switchcord.
15. Check regulary that your outboard engine is completely secure. If your engine becomes
loose,yourcramaybecomeuncontrollableormaycomeunaached.
16.Avoidplacingyourcraincontactwithobjectswhichhaveatemperaturelowerthan-20ºC
orhigherthan60ºC.Thiscanseriouslydamagetheboatskin.
