2.2 Responsibility of the customer
Inadditiontotheworkingsafetyinstructionsinthisoperatingmanual,observesafety
andaccidentproteconguidelinesandenvironmentalproteconguidelinesapplicabletothe
areaofapplicaonoftheequipment.Parcularlyapplicableinthisregard:
• Thecustomermustinformhimselfofapplicableindustrialsafety
 regulationsand,withintheframeworkofahazardanalysis,identify
 otherhazardsthatmayexistattheequipment‘sinstallaonsitedue
 tothespecicworkingcondions.
• Thecustomermustclearlyregulateandspecifyresponsibilitiesfor
 installaon,operaon,maintenance,andcleaning.
• Thecustomermustensurethatallpersonnelwhohandletheequipment
 havefullyreadandunderstoodtheoperangmanual.
• Inaddion,theoperatormusttrainpersonnelandinformthemofthe
 dangersofworkingwiththemachineryatregularintervals.
Moreover,thecustomerisresponsibleforensuringthattheequipmentisalwaysintechnically
faultlesscondion.Consequentlythefollowingapplies:
• Aereveryusage,atleastonceperyear,thedevicemustundergoa
 visualinspectionbytrainedpersonnel(perDGUVGrundsatz305-002or
 country-specicdirecve).
• Everythreeyears,orintheeventofdoubtsaboutthesafetyorreliability
 oftheequipment,anaddionalfunconalandloadtestistobecarried
 out(perDGUVGrundsatz305-002orcountry-specicdirecve).

2.3 Operang personnel
Thefollowingqualicaonsarecitedintheoperangmanualforthevariousacvityareas:
• Trained person
 Isinformedaboutthetasksassignedtothemandthepossibledangers
 intheeventofimproperbehaviourthroughcustomertraining.
• Specialist
 Isanindividualwho,duetotheirspecializedtraining,skills,and
 experience,aswellasknowledgeoftheapplicablemanufacturer‘s
 regulaonsiscapableofexecungthetasksassignedtothemand
 ofrecognizingpossiblehazardsontheirown.
WARNING!
Danger of injury due to insucient training!
Improperhandlingoftheequipmentcanleadtoseriousinjuryormaterial
damage.Thereforeitisimperavethat:
» Parculartasksareonlycarriedoutbythepersonnellistedin
 theappropriatechapterofthisinstruconmanual.
