sure that you profit from this system to your entire satisfaction over many years. In order
to ensure this, we strongly recommend you to let our experienced specialists perform the
installation.

of applicable standards and regulations, state-of-the-art technology as well as our
cognition and experiences over many years..

Purpose and Scope of this service manual
This manual enables safe and effective use of the Markoprint integra Vivid.
The Operating manual is a component of the device and must be stored close to the
device to be accessible to the staff at all times. The staff must have read this manual
thoroughly and understand the content before starting any work. Compliance with all
safety notes and instructions given in this manual is a basic prerequisite to safe
operation.
Furthermore, the local accident prevention regulations and general safety provisions for
the area of application of the device are applicable.
Images in this manual serve to provide a basic understanding and may differ from the
actual device version.
In addition to this manual, the instructions in the annexure on the components included
are also applicable.
This document is an extension of the instruction manual for the Markoprint X1JET
series and integra PP 108. This document does not replace the instruction manual
of the respective main system.

2.Safety Regulations
Behavior in Case of an Emergency
The operating personnel have to be familiar with the operation and the location of safety,
accident notification-, first aid- and rescue devices.
What to do in Case of an Emergency?
Initiate immediately all required emergency measures for injured persons.
Observe valid safety regulations in any case in order to avoid further damages to
persons.
Call medical attendance for injured persons.
Eliminate all accident causes.
General Safety Regulations
Safety regulations provide information in written and symbol form in order to warn you
against dangers and to instruct you to avoid any damage to persons or to properties.
Safety regulations are started by signal words indicating the level of danger.
Safety regulations may be placed directly at the print system or in documents about this
print system.
Explanation of Danger Degrees
This symbol indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury. All safety
regulations have to be observed to avoid any damage to
persons.

4.Construction and function
Brief description
The Markoprint integra Vivid is used for visual presentation of the functions and settings
of the Markoprint X1JET series and integra PP 108.
Various settings of the print system can be checked and changed via the display.
In addition, different print images can be selected and filled with data.
System unit
The Markoprint integra Vivid consists of a 7 inch display. The integra Vivid is equipped
with an installation bracket for easy mounting.
The Integra Vivid is controlled via a touch display.

Safetynotes
Danger to life through electric shock!
DANGER TO LIFE!
Contact with live parts poses imminent danger to life.
Damaged insulation or individual components can be
lethal.
Therefore:
–Immediately switch off the power supply and initiate
repairs if the insulation is damaged.
–Work on the electrical system may only be performed
by electricians.
–Before working on the electrical system, disconnect
from the mains (remove mains plug) and check that
power is off.
–Always disconnect mains before performing cleaning
and repair tasks.
–Keep moisture from live parts. Moisture may cause a
short-circuit.
Risk of stumbling posed by dirt, objects lying about
and connecting lines!
RISK OF INJURY!
Dirt, objects lying about and connecting lines for power,
data- and signal lines may cause slipping and stumbling
resulting in severe injuries.
Therefore:
–Always keep working area clean.
–Remove objects no longer required.
–Mark stumbling areas with yellow-black marking tape.
–Non tension connecting lines to system and pass it
that no places of danger do arise

Edges and corners pose risk of injury!
RISK OF INJURY!
Sharp edges and pointed corners may cause abrasions
and cuts to the skin.
Therefore:
–Be cautious when working near sharp edges and
pointed corners.
–If in doubt, wear protective gloves.
Placing the integra Vivid
The installation position must allow adequate access for operators and service
technicians.
Make sure that all fasteners are secured securely enough.
Observe all points of the "Intended Use" in the chapter on safety regulations.
During installation, please note the maximum cable length of 2m or 5m. Other lengths on
request.

Material damage due to improper print system
installation!
With the print system switched on, a defect may occur in
the system electronics.
Therefore:
–Only install the system when it is switched off.
–Network cables only connect or disconnect if the
power supply is switched off.
Possible material damages!
Product mounting rails prepared by the customer protect
the system unit from vibrations and damage whilst the
product is passing the system unit.

Please install the integra Vivid as follows:

Mount the holder of the integra Vivid Display in a suitable position near the
printing system.

Attach the Vivid display to the holder.
Use an Allen key size 5 for this purpose.

Connecting the integra Vivid
The integra Vivid is connected via an optional 15-pin cable with male/female Sub-D
connector. This is connected through 1:1. The cable must be ordered separately.
Requirements
The integra Vivid has been installed near the printing system.
To be able to use the integra Vivid, the firmware >4.026k must be loaded in the
printing system.
Instruction
Please connect the integra Vivid with the print system as follows:

Connect the connector of the integra Vivid with the optional 15pin
connection cable.

Connect the printing system with the optional 15pin connection cable.

Connect additional Periphery and, if needed, the power supply to the Vivid.

Activation of the HMI
To be able to use the integra Vivid, it must be activated once on the X1JET or PP 108.
Requirements
The HMI has been connected to the printing system
The printing system is connected to a PC or laptop via Ethernet or USB stick.
Instruction
To activate the HMI:

6.Operation
The Markoprint integra Vivid can be used to enter and change various functions.
These depend on the configuration of the respective printing system.
Functions that are not enabled in the respective version of the system cannot be
used via the integra Vivid.
An overview of the software upgrades can be found in the appendix to this
document.
User interface of the Markoprint Integra Vivid

Start
Press the [Start] button on the touch display briefly to activate the print
system mode.
Provided that the printer startup process is completed and there are no other faults present.

Pause
Press the [Pause] button briefly to pause printing.
Printing is paused and can be restarted by pressing the [Restart] key that
appears.

Stop
Press the [Stop] button briefly. The print image is deleted from the print
memory and the device does not print when the signal is present.

Switch ON
The system starts automatically with the connected print system. Switching on
separately is not possible.
After switching on, a boot screen with a progress bar appears during startup.
Switch OFF
The system is automatically deactivated, together with the connected print system.
Switching off separately is not necessary.

Home Screen Status Print Image selection
All settings can be changed popularly (see picture
explanation).
1. The print position can be adjusted step by step by tapping or holding the (+) and (-)
field.
The change is accelerated the longer the button is pressed
Any value can be selected with the slider. To operate, first touch for 1 sec. The slider
turns green and can be operated as long as it is green
2. Any value can be entered by tapping the numbers.
Then confirm with .
3. When dragging or tapping on the dots, scroll through the settings on the screen.

Print stopp
To avoid accidental touching of the start, pause and stop
buttons, it has been programmed with a 3-second delay.
The delay is visible in the blue bars.

Please activate a print stopp / print pause as follows:
