SLoosen wing nuton handle.
SRotate handleto uprightposition and
tighten in acomfortable positionbetween
thetriggerandthesafetylabelonthetube.
Tighten handlesecurely.
ATTACH THE SHIELD
WARNING:Theshieldmustbeproperly
installed.The shield providespartial
protectionfromtheriskofthrown objectsto
theoperatorandothersandisequippedwith
alinelimiterwhichcutsexcessline.Theline
limiter(on undersideofshield)is sharpand
can cutyou.

withagoodquality2--cycleair--cooledengine
oil designed to be mixed ataratio of40:1.
Poulan/Weed Eaterbrand oil is
recommended.(A40:1ratioisobtainedby
mixing 3.2 ouncesofoil with 1 gallon of
unleadedgasoline).Whenmixingfuelfollow
the instructionsprinted on the container.

lengthsof12-1/2feetof .080” (2mm)

usewire,rope,string,etc.,whichcanbreak
off and become a dangerousmissile.
