Consignes de sécurité
Les consignes de sécurité doivent se trouver sous forme de texte à
l’emplacement correspondant. Elles sont signalées par un symbole
et un texte d‘information.
Consigne de sécurité importante :
Les consignes signalées par ce triangle d’avertissement
indiquent un danger qui peut entraîner la mort ou de
graves blessures ou sont importantes pour le fonctionne-
ment du store.

Lecture de la notice de montage et d’utilisation
Les instructions de montage et d’utilisation doivent être
lues et respectées.

Qualification
La notice de montage s’adresse à un installateur qualifié qui
dispose de connaissances solides dans les domaines suivants :
• sécurité au travail, sécurité de fonctionnement et prescriptions
de sécurité
• utilisation d’échelles et d‘échafaudages
• manipulation et transport d’éléments de construction longs et
lourds
• utilisation d’outils et de machines
• mise en place de moyens de fixation
• évaluation du volume bâti
• mise en service et fonctionnement du produit
Si l’installateur ne dispose pas d’une de ces qualifications, les
opérations doivent être confiées à une entreprise de montage.

Transport
Les charges par essieu admissibles et le poids total admis-
sible du moyen de transport ne doivent pas être dépassés.
Le comportement sur route du véhicule peut changer
suite au chargement.
La marchandise transportée doit être fixée correctement et de
manière sûre. L’emballage doit être protégé de l‘humidité. Un
emballage détrempé peut se défaire et entraîner des accidents.
L’emballage ouvert à des fins de contrôle de la marchandise
doit être refermé correctement pour pouvoir être transport
ultérieurement.

Levage à l’aide de cordes
Si le système de store doit être soulevé dans une zone
surélevée à l’aide de cordes, le store doit être sorti de son
emballage, être attaché avec des cordes de traction de
sorte qu’il ne puisse pas en sortir et être soulevé en
position horizontale uniformément.
Cela s’applique également pour le démontage du store.

Supports muraux et supports de caisson
Avant de commencer le montage, vérifier que le type et
le nombre de consoles de montage fournies correspon-
dent aux données de la commande.
Si des divergences pouvant entraver la sécurité devaient être
constatées, le montage ne doit pas être réalisé.

Safety notes must be found in the relevant parts of the text. They
must be marked with a sign and a warning text.
Important safety note:
This warning triangle indicates notes which explain a
danger which could lead to death or serious injury or is
important for the proper function of the awning.

Reading the assembly and operating instructions
The assembly and operating instructions must be read
and their content noted.

Qualifications
The assembly instructions are aimed at a qualified technician who
has knowledge of and is experienced in the following areas:
• Safety at work, operating safety and accident prevention
regulations
• Use of ladders and scaffolding
• Handling and transporting long heavy components
• Use of tools and machines
• Fitting fasteners
• Assessment of building fabric
• Setting up and operating the product
If he does not have one of these qualifications he must use a
qualified assembly firm.

Transport
The maximum axle loads and gross vehicle weight of the
goods vehicles must not be exceeded. Loading a vehicle
can alter its handling characteristics.
The goods must be fastened properly and safely. The awning
packaging must be protected from the wet. Softened packaging
can come loose and cause accidents. Packaging which has been
opened for goods inward purposes must be sealed again properly
for further transport.

Lifting with ropes
If the awning has to be raised to a higher level using
ropes, the awning must be removed from the packaging,
attached to the ropes so that it cannot slide out, be lifted
horizontally and evenly.
The same applies when removing the awning.

Mounting brackets
Before starting assembly, check that the type and number
of mounting brackets supplied comply with the order.
Should any deviations be found which could impair safety, assembly
must not be carried out.

Moyens de fixation
Le store répond aux exigences de la classe de résistance
au vent indiquée sur le sigle de conformité CE (cf. notice
d‘entretien et d’utilisation). Une fois monté, le store
répond à ces exigences uniquement
• lorsqu’il est monté avec le type et le nombre de
consoles recommandés par weinor et
• lorsqu’il est monté en tenant compte des forces
nécessaires pour extraire les chevilles.
Deux supports de caisson au moins sont nécessaires pour fixer le
caisson. Le support de poignée est fixé au support avec 2 vis.
La force d’extraction maximale par support de caisson pour un
écran Paravento aux dimensions maximales (8 m2) est de 600 N.
La force d’extraction maximale au niveau du support de poignée
est de 600 N.
Les moyens de fixation doivent être choisis selon le support de
fixation. Respecter les instructions du fabricant concernant les
moyens de fixation.

Fasteners
The awning complies with the requirements of wind
resistance class shown on the CE-conformity marking (see
Maintenance Instructions and Directions for Use) When
fitted, it only complies with these requirements provided
• the awning is fitted with the type and number of
brackets recommended by the manufacturer,
• the awning is fitted taking into account the forces
needed for pulling out rawlplugs, as given by the
manufacturer.
At least 2 box brackets are needed for fixing the casing. The grip
bracket is fixed to the base with 2 screws.
The maximum extraction force per box bracket with a Paravento
of maximum size (8 m2) is 600 N.
The maximum extraction force at the grip bracket is 600 N.
Suitable fixings should be chosen for the base to which it is to be
attached. Please observe the manufacturer’s notes on fixings.

The casing can be mounted on either side (either way round).
Please note that the hook of the pull handle must always point
downwards.

• Mark positions of wall bracket holes on the wall.
• Drill holes for fixing, align wall brackets on the wall and screw
on.
• Align box brackets on the casing and fix, tightening box bracket
locking screw completely.
• Place casing on the wall brackets.

(casing cannot be removed)
• Mark positions of box bracket holes on the wall.
• Drill holes for fixing, align wall brackets on the wall and screw
on.
• Swing casing into the box brackets and tighten locking screws at
the box fastener completely.

Attaching the grip bracket
• Measure grip bracket pointing towards casing, drill and attach.
The sideways deviation in the direction of projection must not
be more than 15°.

Il faut toutefois noter que la poignée doit toujours être orientée
avec le crochet vers le bas.

Montage du caisson avec les supports muraux (caisson amovible)
•Marquer le positionnement des trous du support mural sur
le mur.
• Percer les trous de fixation. Aligner et visser le support mural
au mur.
• Aligner et fixer le support de caisson au niveau du caisson, pour
cela, visser entièrement la vis de blocage du support de caisson.
• Placer le caisson sur les supports muraux.

Montage du caisson avec les supports de caisson (caisson non
amovible)
• Marquer le positionnement des trous du support du caisson sur
le mur.
• Percer les trous de fixation. Aligner et visser le support du
caisson au mur.
• Insérer le caisson dans les supports de caisson en l’inclinant et
visser entièrement les vis de blocage au niveau des supports de
caisson.

Montage du support de poignée
• Mesurer, percer et fixer le support de poignée orienté vers le
caisson. La différence latérale dans le sens de la projection peut
être de 15° maximum.

Fixation avec le socle
• Mesurer, percer et fixer le mât orienté vers le caisson.
• Les dalles en béton de jardin et les sols en asphalte ne convien-
nent pas en tant que support de fixation.
Fixation avec la douille à sceller dans le béton
• Visser le mât emboîtable à la douille. Creuser un trou (environ
30 x 30 cm) d’une profondeur de 40 cm env. à la distance
appropriée du caisson. Sceller le mât emboîtable avec la douille
dans le béton. Le support de poignée doit être orienté vers le
caisson.
• Ajuster le mât emboîtable dans toutes les directions avec un
niveau à bulle et veiller à ce que la plaque du socle forme une
surface plane avec le sol. Compresser le béton tout autour du
mât en vérifiant constamment son positionnement avec le
niveau à bulle. Laisser l’ensemble pendant 2 jours avant de le
soumettre à des charges (protéger l’ensemble des intempéries
et des influences mécaniques).

Réglage de la poignée
• Desserrer légèrement les vis au niveau de la poignée. Tirer le
tissu et l’accrocher au support de poignée. Ajuster verticalement
la barre de charge, le tissu ne doit pas présenter de plis. Revisser
ensuite les vis au niveau de la poignée. Le crochet de la poignée
doit toujours être orienté vers le bas (cf. fig. page 4).
Attention !
Le caisson ne doit pas être ouvert. L’arbre à ressort se
trouvant à l’intérieur du caisson est soumis à une
importante tension de ressort. Risque de blessure !

Fixing with plinth
• Measure post pointing towards casing,
drill and attach.
• (Concrete garden slabs and asphalt ground are not suitable for
fixing).
Fixing with ground anchor to be concreted in
• Screw post to ground anchor and make a hole (approx. 30 x 30 cm
and 40 cm deep) at the appropriate distance from the casing.
Fix post with ground anchor in concrete. Grip bracket towards
casing.
• Adjust the post in all directions with a spirit level and take
care that the plate of the plinth is level with the ground.
Press concrete in all round while constantly checking the post
with the spirit level. Leave for 2 days before putting it under
any strain (protect from inclement weather and mechanical
forces).

Adjusting the grip bracket
• Loosen the screws on the grip bracket slightly. Pull fabric out
and hang on grip bracket. Adjust the front rail vertically, there
must not be any creases in the fabric. Then tighten the screws on
the grip bracket again. The hook of the grip bracket must point
downwards (Picture see page 4).
Warning!
The casing must not be opened. The flexible shaft inside
is under spring tension. Risk of injury!

Paravento
Intended use
The Paravento may only be used as a wind and privacy
shield. Alterations, such as attaching items or rebuilding
which have not been planned by the manufacturer,
may only be carried out with the written permission of
the manufacturer.
Placing additional loads on the awning by hanging objects from it
or anchoring ropes can cause damage or the awning to fall, and
they are therefore not permissible.

Test run
When it is first opened, nobody must be in the range of
movement or under the awning. The fasteners and brack-
ets must be checked visually after it has been opened for
the first time.

Squashing and pinching areas
There is a danger of being squashed or pinched, for
example between the droparm and the casing, between
the guide arms and between moving sections. Clothing
and body parts can be caught by the unit and drawn in.
㛯㛯㛯
Handover
The manufacturers’ enclosed assembly and operating
instructions for the motor, switches and controls must be
handed to the user who must be instructed in the opera-
tion. Detailed instruction on safe and proper operation of
the awning must be given. If this is not adhered to and
the awning is operated incorrectly, damage or accidents
could result.
The instructions must be kept by the customer and passed on to
the new owner if ownership of the awning passes to a third party.
After noting the local situation and completing assembly, the firm
shall inform the user whether the wind resistance class given by
the manufacturer was achieved when assembled. If not, the firm
must record the wind resistance class actually achieved.
The customer must confirm to the technician the correct model
of awning, assembly, the assembly time and the acceptance
discussion, together with the safety notes, in writing (see handover
certificate).
Utilisation conforme
L’écran Paravento ne doit être utilisé que pour protéger
du vent et des regards. Les modifications, comme l’ajout
d’éléments ou les transformations, qui ne sont pas prévues
par weinor, ne peuvent être réalisées qu’avec l’accord écrit
de weinor.
Les charges supplémentaires appliquées aux stores par des objets
suspendus ou des câbles d’haubanage peuvent endommager ou
faire tomber le store et ne sont pas autorisées.

Essai de fonctionnement
Personne ne doit se trouver dans la zone de mouvement
ou sous le store lorsqu’il est ouvert pour la première fois.
Les moyens de fixation et les consoles doivent être soumis
à un contrôle visuel après la première ouverture du store.

Zones d’écrasement et de pincement
Il existe des zones d’écrasement et de pincement entre la
barre de charge et le caisson par exemple ainsi qu’au
niveau des pièces mobiles. Les vêtements ou les parties du
corps peuvent être happés !

Remise
Toutes les notices d’utilisation doivent être remises à
l’utilisateur en plus d’instructions. L’utilisateur doit être
courant des consignes de sécurité et d’utilisation du store.
Il existe un risque d’endommagement du store et d’acci-
dent en cas de non respect des consignes et d’utilisation
incorrecte.
Les notices doivent être conservées par le client et doivent être
transmises au nouveau propriétaire en cas de remise éventuelle du
store à un tiers.
Après avoir pris connaissance des conditions locales et après le
montage, l’entreprise de montage indique à l’utilisateur si la classe
de résistance au vent donnée par le fabricant a été atteinte une
fois le store monté. Si tel n’est pas le cas, l’entreprise de montage
doit documenter la classe de résistance au vent en réalité atteinte.
Le client confirme à l’installateur par écrit le modèle du store, le
montage, le temps de montage et l’entretien de réception avec les
consignes de sécurité (cf. certificat de remise).
