Vertrauen.
Bei der Fertigung wurden strengste Qualitätsanforderungen zugrunde
gelegt, die eine einwandfreie Funktion des Gerätes sicherstellen.
Diese Anleitung enthält wichtige Informationen, um das Gerät sicher
und sachgerecht in Betrieb zu nehmen, zu bedienen, zu warten und
einfache Störungen selbst zu beseitigen.
Geben Sie das Gerät an Dritte stets zusammen mit der Betriebsanlei-
tung weiter.
Das Gerät wurde entsprechend dem heutigen Stand der Technik und
den anerkannten sicherheitstechnischen Regeln hergestellt.
Trotzdem besteht die Gefahr von Personen- und Sachschäden, wenn
Sie die Sicherheitshinweise im beiliegenden Sicherheitsheft sowie die
Warnhinweise in dieser Anleitung nicht beachten.

Sicherheitshinweise
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber, sowie von
Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden,
wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des
Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Be-
aufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
Warnung! Stromschlag
Bei defektem Gerät können aktive Leiter frei liegen oder der Schutzleiter ohne Funktion sein.
Reparaturen müssen durch von Weller ausgebildete Personen erfolgen.
Ist die Anschlussleitung des Elektrowerkzeugs beschädigt, muss sie durch eine speziell vorgerichtete
Anschlussleitung ersetzt werden, die über die Kundendienstorganisation erhältlich ist.
Warnung! Verletzungsgefahr
Beim Transport können das Gerät oder Teile herabfallen.
Halten Sie das Gerät nur an den dafür vorgesehenen Griffen.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals als Transportmittel.

Fehlerhafte Installation kann zu erhöhten Arbeitsplatzkonzentrationen führen

Ein übersättigter Aktivkohlelter nimmt keine Gefahrstoffe mehr auf. Die Gefahrstoffe werden
ungeltert wieder an die Umgebung abgegeben.
Halten Sie die empfohlenen Filterwechselintervalle ein.
Durch hohe Schadgaskonzentration kann es zu einer starken Erwärmung der Aktivkohle kommen,
die zur Selbstentzündung des Filters führen kann.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät vor dem Abschalten für mehrere Minuten mit schadgasfreier Luft.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Filtersystem ist zum Absaugen und Filtern von Partikeln und Gasen geeignet - abhängig vom jeweili-
gen Filtermedium.
Warnung! Erstickungsgefahr, Vergiftungsgefahr
Unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Atembeschwerden, Ersticken, Vergiftung oder Krebs
führen
Partikel und Gase, die dem eingesetzten Filtermedium nicht entsprechen, dürfen nicht
abgesaugt werden.
Flüssigkeiten sowie brennbare Gase dürfen nicht abgesaugt werden
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Filter oder mit vollem Filter.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals ohne Abdeckung des Ventilators
Dieses Gerät darf nur bei Raumtemperatur und in Innenräumen verwendet werden.
Das Gerät wurde für den Einsatz als Flächenabsaugung konzipiert und ist nicht geeignet für Direktab-
saugungen am Lötkolben.
Der bestimmungsgemäße Gebrauch schließt auch ein, dass

Löten oder Schweißen von Lackdrähten
Verwenden Sie beim Löten und Schweißen von Lackdrähten die standardmäßigen Vorlter Mediumlter
M5 und einen Feinstaublter der Klasse F7
Absaugen von Klebedämpfen
Verwenden Sie beim Absaugen von Klebedämpfen einen Breitbandgaslter (ohne Schwebestofflter).
Für eigenmächtig vorgenommene Veränderungen am Gerät wird vom Hersteller keine Haftung
übernommen.
Wirksamkeitsprüfung
Entsprechend den allgemeinen Vorgaben der Berufsgenossenschaften müssen Absauganlagen regel-
mäßig, mindestens jährlich auf Ihre ausreichende Funktion und Wirksamkeit überprüft werden (TRGS
528 BGETF). Anhand der Wirksamkeitsprüfung wird die ordnungsgemäße Funktion der Lötrauchabsau-
gungen Zero Smog überprüft.
Benutzergruppen
Aufgrund unterschiedlich hoher Risiken und Gefahrenpotentiale dürfen einige Arbeitsschritte nur von geschul-
ten Fachkräften ausgeführt werden.

von uns schriftlich und unter Verwendung des Begriffs „Garantie“ abgegeben worden ist.
Die Garantie verfällt bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch und wenn von unqualizierten Personen Eingriffe vorge-
nommen wurden.

Zur ordnungsgemäßen Funktion des Filtersystems muss der Filter wie
folgt gewechselt werden
mindestens 1 mal pro Jahr oder
bei Überschreiten der zulässigen mittleren Arbeitsplatzkonzentration
oder
nach Wartungsplan
Der Schwebstofflter und Breitband-Gaslter sind aufeinander
abgestimmt, so dass sie als Kompaktlter zusammen ausgetauscht
werden. Um eine einwandfreie Filterfunktion zu gewährleisten, muss
der Kompaktlter einmal im Jahr gewechselt werden. Der Feinstaub-
lter (Filtermatte), ist die Vorlterstufe des Kompaktlters und ist
daher häuger zu wechseln.
Hinweis
Verschiedene Flussmittel, Flussmittelanteile sowie unterschiedli-
che Staubanteile der abgesaugten Luft können die Lebensdauer
des Filters wesentlich reduzieren. Beim Absaugen von Kleber-
dämpfen ist ein Breitband- Gaslter (ohne Schwebstofflter) zu
verwenden.

Safety information
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children wit-
hout supervision.

If the device is faulty, active electrical conductors may be bare or the PE conductor may not be
functional.
Repairs must always be referred to a Weller-trained specialist.
If the electrical tool‘s power supply cord is damaged, this must be replaced with a specially
prefabricated power supply cord available through the customer service organisation.

The device or parts of the device may fall off during transportation.

Improper installation can result in above-normal workplace concentrations

If suction capacity is impaired by build-up within the pipe system, replace the contaminated parts
A saturated activated carbon lter will not be able to capture harmful substances. The harmful
substances will be released back into the environment unltered.
Observe the recommended lter replacement intervals.
High concentrations of harmful gases can lead to overheating of the activated carbon and possibly
trigger spontaneous combustion of the lter.
Run the unit on clean air for several minutes before switching off.

Specied Conditions Of Use
This ltration system is suitable for the extraction and ltration of particles and gases, depending on the lter
medium used.
Warning! Danger of asphyxiation, Danger of poisoning
Improper use may result in respiratory problems, asphyxiation, poisoning or cancer
Particles and gases which are unsuitable for the lter medium in use may not be extracted.
Liquids and ammable gases may not be extracted
Never use the device without a lter or with a full lter.
Never use the device without the fan cover
This device may only be used at room temperature and indoors.
The unit is designed for use as a surface extraction unit and is not suitable for extracting fumes directly
from the soldering gun.
Intended use of the soldering station/ desoldering station also includes the requirement that you
adhere to these instructions,
observe all other accompanying documents,
comply with national accident prevention guidelines applicable at the place of use.
Soldering or welding enamelled wire
Use the standard prelter (medium lter M5) and a class F7 ne dust lter when soldering and welding
enamelled wire
Extraction of adhesive vapours
Use a broadband gas lter (without a suspended matter lter) for the extraction of adhesive vapours.
The manufacturer will not be liable for unauthorised modications to the device.
Efciency test
In accordance with the general guidelines of the trade association, fume extractor systems must be
checked regularly, at a minimum annually, in order to ensure that they are fully functional (TRGS 528
BGETF). The efcacy test can be used to check the proper functioning of the Zero Smog solder fume
extraction units.

Warranty
Claims by the buyer for physical defects are time-barred after a period of one year from delivery to the
buyer. This does not apply to claims by the buyer for indemnication in accordance with §§ 478, 479
BGB (German Federal Law Gazette).

To ensure that the ltration system functions properly, the lter must
be replaced as follows
at least once a year or
if the maximum allowable workplace concentration is exceeded or
as per maintenance schedule
The suspended matter lter and the broadband gas lter are comple-
mentary to one another and can be replaced together as a compact
lter. The compact lter must be changed once a year in order to
ensure it is fully functional. The ne dust lter (lter mat) is the pre-
liminary stage of the compact lter and therefore must be replaced
more frequently.
Notice
Different uxes and ux constituents and the amount of and size
of dust particles in the extracted air will signi cantly effect the l-
ters working life. Submicron particles in the extracted air increase
when soldering or welding to varnish insulated wire.

Si el aparato estuviera averiado puede haber conductores activos desnudos o no funcionar el

Las reparaciones deberán ser realizadas por especialistas formados por Weller.
Si el cable de conexión de la herramienta eléctrica estuviera dañado deberá sustituirlo por un cable
de conexión especial que podrá adquirir a través del servicio técnico.

La planicación incorrecta de los intervalos de mantenimiento podría causar un incremento del

Determinar los intervalos de mantenimiento
Al limpiar las tuberías/cavidad de aspiración se produce un incremento de los productos noci-
vos liberados al entorno
Si la potencia de aspiración se viera mermada debido a los sedimentos en las tuberías, deberá
sustituir los componentes afectados
Un ltro de carbón activo saturado ya no puede ltrar substancias nocivas. Se liberan de nuevo
substancias nocivas sin ltrar al entorno.
Cumplir los intervalos recomendados para el cambio de ltro.
Debido a la elevada concentración de gases contaminantes puede producirse un fuerte calentami-
ento del carbón activo que a su vez puede provocar la combustión espontánea del ltro.
Antes de conectar el aparato deje que éste funcione durante algunos minutos con aire limpio
(sin agentes contaminantes).

Aplicación De Acuerdo A La Finalidad
Este sistema de ltración es apto para aspirar y ltrar partículas y gases - dependiendo del tipo de ltro.
¡Advertencia! Peligro de asxia, Peligro de intoxicación
El uso inapropiado puede provocar molestias respiratorias, asxia, intoxicación o cáncer
No está permitido aspirar partículas y gases que no sean adecuadas para el ltro utilizado.
No está permitido aspirar líquidos ni gases inamables
No usar nunca el aparato sin ltro o con el ltro lleno.
No usar nunca el aparato sin la cubierta del ventilador
Sólo está permitido usar este aparato a temperatura ambiente y en interiores.
Este aparato ha sido diseñado para un aplicaciones como extractor de supercie y no es apto para
extracción directa junto al soldador.
El uso conforme a lo previsto incluye también:
siga las instrucciones de este manual,
siga las instrucciones de todos los documentos que acompañan al aparato,
cumpla las normas de prevención de accidentes laborales vigentes en el país de uso.
Soldar con estaño o soldar hilos esmaltados
Para soldar con estaño o hilos esmaltados usar los preltros estándar M5 y un ltro de polvo no de la
clase F7
Extracción de los vapores liberados
Para extraer los vapores liberados usar un ltro de banda ancha (sin ltro de partículas en suspensión).
El fabricante no asume ninguna responsabilidad en caso de realización de modicaciones por cuenta
propia en el aparato.
Comprobación del funcionamiento
Siguiendo las normativas de las asociaciones de profesionales los equipos de aspiración deben ser
revisados periódicamente, como mínimo una vez al año, para comprobar su correcto funcionamiento
y efectividad (TRGS 528 BGETF). Revisar el correcto funcionamiento de los extractores de gases de
soldadura Zero Smog en función de la prueba de ecacia.

Para garantizar el correcto funcionamiento del sistema de ltración es
imprescindible sustituir el ltro como se describe a continuación
como mínimo 1 vez al año o
al superarse el límite medio permitido de exposición profesional
según calendario de mantenimiento
El ltro de partículas suspendidas y el ltro de gas de banda ancha
están perfectamente compaginados entre sí de tal forma que se
pueden cambiar juntos como si de un ltro compacto se tratara.
Para poder garantizar el correcto funcionamiento del ltro es im-
prescindible cambiarlo una vez al año. El ltro de polvo no (estera
ltrante) es la fase de ltrado previo del ltro compacto y por tanto
deberá cambiarse con mayor frecuencia.
Aviso
Los distintos fundentes, contenidos de fundentes así como
distintos contenidos de polvo en el aire aspirado pueden reducir
considerablemente la vida útil del ltro. Al realizar soldaduras di-
rectas o indirectas en alambres recubiertos aumenta la cantidad
de cuerpos suspendidos en el aire.
