Wen 5500 (13 hp engine) carburetor assembly
To disassemble the carburetor on a Wen 5500 generator, do the following:
Remove the two P2 (#2 PoziDrive) head screws holding the solenoid to the bottom of the
carburetor bowl.
Remove the 14mm hex head bolt from the bottom of the carburetor bowl.

Separate the bowl from the bottom of the carburetor.
Remove the pivot pin from the float and pull the float away from the carburetor.
Insert a ¼” flat head screwdriver into the center stem of the carburetor and remove the
jet.

Remove the nozzle from inside the center stem.
Reassembly is in reverse order. Be sure the o-ring is properly seated between the bowl
and the bottom of the carburetor.
