IMPORTANT: The gasinstallation must conform with local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas
Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54.
The dryer must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the National
Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.

WARNING: For your safety, the information in this manual must be followed to minimize
the risk of re or explosion, or to prevent property damage, personal injury, or death.
– Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this
or any other appliance.
– WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
•Do not try to light any appliance.
•Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
•Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone. Follow the gas supplier's
instructions.
•If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the re department.
– Installation and service must be performed by a qualied installer, service agency, or
the gas supplier.
•Clear the room, building, or area of all occupants.

WARNING: Gasleakscannot alwaysbe detected by smell.
Gassuppliersrecommend that you use a gasdetector approved by UL or CSA.
For more information, contact your gassupplier.
If a gasleak isdetected, follow the “What to do if you smell gas” instructions.

Do not dry anythingthat has ever hadany type of oil on
it (includingcookingoils).
Items containingfoam, rubber, or plastic must be dried
on a clothesline or by usingan Air Cycle.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death
or re.

ThisUse and Care Guide coversseveral different models. Your dryer may not have all the cyclesand featuresdescribed.
Press POWER.
Press POWER.
Press and holdSTART/PAUSE to begin.
Adjust the DRYNESS level, if desired.
Select the desired AUTOMATIC cycle.
Select the WRINKLE SHIELD and/or SIGNAL
feature, if desired.
Select the WRINKLE SHIELD and/or SIGNAL
feature, if desired.
You may select or deselect the WRINKLE SHIELD and/or
SIGNAL feature at any time during the cycle, if desired.
Open the door or press START/PAUSE once.
Close the door and press and hold START/PAUSE.
Press POWER.
Press and holdSTART/PAUSE to begin.
Press TEMP until the desired temperature glows.
Select the desired TIMED Cycle.

To add or remove options duringan Automatic Cycle:
You may select or deselect the WRINKLE SHIELD and/or
SIGNAL feature at any time during the cycle, if desired.

on the following pagesfor more information.
