INSTALLATION
PRIOR TO CONNECTING
ENSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS NOT DAMAGED. Check
that the oven door closes firmly against the
door support. Empty the oven and clean the
interior with a soft, damp cloth.
AFTER CONNECTING
THE EARTHING OF THIS APPLIANCE is compulso-
ry. The manufacturer will accept no re-
sponsibility for injury to persons, ani-
mals or damage to objects arising from
the non-observance of this requirement.
The manufacturers are not liable for any
problems caused by the user’s failure to ob-
serve these instructions.
DONOT OPERATE THIS APPLIANCE if it has a
damaged mains cord or plug, if it is not
working properly, or if it has been dam-
aged or dropped. Do not immerse the
mains cord or plug in water. Keep the
cord away from hot surfaces. Electrical
shock, fire or other hazards may result.
ENSURE the oven cavity is empty before mount-
ing.
CHECK THAT THE VOLTAGE on the rating
plate corresponds to the voltage in your
home.
MOUNTING THE APPLIANCE
FOLLOW THE SUPPLIED separate mounting in-
structions when installing the appliance.
FIRST HEAT. Insulating materials and pro-
tective greases can cause some smell
and fumes the first time the oven is heat-
ed up. Therefore you should heat the
empty oven at 200°c for about an hour
in order to eliminate them. Ensure the
room is well ventilated during this pro-
cedure. Turn kitchen fan on and/or open
the kitchen window.
REMOVE ALL STICKERS from the oven door
and front of the oven with the exception
of the rating plate which shall remain in
place.
REMOVE ALL PROTECTIONS, cardboard & plas-
tic films from the control panel and oth-
er parts of the oven.
REMOVE ALL LABELS from accessories (for
example, underneath the Glass Drip
Pan).
REMOVE ALL ACCESSORIES from the oven and
ensure the oven cavity is empty.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
DONOT HEAT, OR USE FLAMMABLE MATERIALS in
or near the oven. Fumes can create a fire
hazard or explosion.
DONOT USE YOUR APPLIANCE FOR DRYING TEX-
TILES, PAPER, SPICES, HERBS, WOOD, FLOWERS,
FRUIT OR OTHER COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS. FIRE
COULD RESULT.
DONOT OVER-COOK FOOD. Fire could result.
DONOT LEAVE THE OVEN UNATTENDED, espe-
cially when using paper, plastic or oth-
er combustible materials in the cook-
ing process. Paper can char or burn and
some plastics can melt if used when
heating foods.
If you are using a lot of fat or oil since
they can overheat and cause a fire!
IFMATERIAL INSIDE / OUTSIDE THE OVEN SHOULD
IGNITE OR SMOKE IS OBSERVED, keep oven
door closed and turn the oven off. Dis-
connect the power cord or shut off pow-
er at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.
READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
ONLY ALLOW CHILDREN to use the appliance
without adult supervision after adequate
instructions have been given, so that the
child is able to use the appliance in a safe
way and understands the hazards of im-
proper use.
THIS APPLIANCE IS NOT INTENDED FOR use by per-
sons (including children) with reduced
physical. sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, un-
less they have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
CHILDREN SHOULD BE SUPERVISED to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
CHILDREN SHOULD ONLY USE THE APPLIANCE UN-
DER ADULT SUPERVISION DUE TO THE HIGH TEMPER-
ATURES GENERATED.
DONOT USE YOUR APPLIANCE FOR
HEATING ANYTHING IN AIRTIGHT
SEALED CONTAINERS. THE PRES-
SURE INCREASES AND MAY
CAUSE DAMAGE WHEN OPENING OR
MAY EXPLODE.
DONOT USE corrosive chemicals or va-
pors in this appliance. This type of oven
is specifically designed to heat or cook
food. It is not designed for industrial or
laboratory use.
DONOT HANG OR PLACE heavy items on the
door as this can damage the oven open-
ing and hinges. The door handle should
not be used for hanging things on.
DONOT COVER the bottom of the oven with
aluminum foil or other objects. The bot-
tom heat is obstructed with poor cook-
ing as result.
NEVER PUT OR DRAG utensils across the bot-
tom of the oven as this could scratch the
surface. Always put utensils on the wire
rack or plates.
DONOT POUR WATER on the inside of a hot
oven. The enamel coating may crack and
be damaged.

GENERAL
THIS APPLIANCE IS DESIGNED FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY!
DEEPFRYING
DONOT USE YOUR APPLIANCE FOR DEEP-FRYING,
BECAUSE THE OIL TEMPERATURE
CANNOT BE CONTROLLED.
CAREFUL
FOOD & ALCOHOL. Be extra careful when cooking
or reheating food that contains alcohol. If you
are adding alcohol (e.g. rum, cognac, wine etc.)
While roasting meats or baking cakes, remem-
ber that alcohol evaporates easily at high tem-
peratures. You should therefore bear in mind
that the vapors released can ignite when they
come in contact with the electrical heating el-
ement. If possible you should refrain from us-
ing alcohol in this oven.
PRECAUTIONS
USE HOT PADS OR OVEN MITTS to prevent
burns, when touching containers, oven
parts, and pan after cooking.
DONOT USE THE CAVITY for any storage purposes.
FRUIT JUICE DRIPPINGS may leave permanent
stains. Let the oven cool and clean before next
use.
CHOOSING SHELF LEVEL
WHEN SOME FUNCTIONS ARE SELECTED, the level indi-
cators will flash and light up. First the levels pos-
sible to use with this func-
tion flashes briefly and then
the recommended level to use
with the function is lit. In this
example the level 1 & 3 would
flash briefly leaving the rec-
ommended level 2 lit.

ACCESSORIES
GENERAL
THERE ARE a number of accessories available on the market.
Before you buy, ensure they are oven proof
BAKING PLATE
USE THE BAKING PLATE when
cooking or baking.
GLASS DRIP TRAY
USE THE GLASS DRIP TRAY beneath the wire shelf.
It may also be used as a
cooking utensil or as a
baking plate.
The Glass Drip Tray is used
to collect the drip-
ping juices and
food particles that
otherwise would stain and
soil the interior of the oven.
Avoid placing vessels di-
rectly on the oven
bottom.
WIRE SHELF
THE WIRE SHELF allows hot
air circulation around
the food and can be
placed with the high end
up or down to adjust
the distance from the grill
element. When you put food directly on the
Wire shelf, place the Glass drip tray under it.
START PROTECTION / CHILD LOCK
CHILD LOCK
THIS FUNCTION IS TURNED ON/OFF by press-
ing the Back and OK buttons simulta-
neously for 5 seconds until the key
symbol is displayed. No buttons or
knobs will function when this safety fea-
ture is activated.
COOLING DOWN
WHEN AFUNCTION IS FINISHED, the oven may car-
ry out a cooling procedure. This is normal and
switches off automatically when finished.
THE COOLING PROCEDURE can be interrupted with-
out any harm to the oven by opening the door.
ITCAN BE TURNED ON/OFF
AT ANY TIME even during
cooking.

STAND BY
THE OVEN IS IN “STAND BY” when the 24 hour clock
is displayed. The displaying of the clock can be
turned off by turning the function knob to the
zero position and pressing the Back button.
THE CLOCK WILL RETURN as soon as any but-
ton or knobs are operated or simply by
pressing the Back button again.
FUNCTION CHANGE PROTECTION
IFTHE MULTIFUNCTION KNOB is rotated e.g. switch-
ing to another function, during cooking, the
oven will ask you to confirm this change be-
fore switching to the new function. This is to
prevent accidental function change during the
cooking procedure.
THE OVEN WILL CONTINUE COOKING with the current
settings until the change is confirmed. If the
multifunction knob rotation was accidental,
simply return the knob to it’s previous position
and the display will once again show the cur-
rent cooking settings.
SPECIAL COOKING INTERRUPTION
ITIS NORMAL to check, stir or turn food during
cooking. However, for foods that requires in-
sertion into a cold oven or cooking on very
low operating temperature, should not be in-
terrupted at all. This because the oven will au-
tomatically restart the cooking process from
start and it will wait until the temperature in
the oven has returned to room temperature
before it starts cooking again. If the cooking
must be interrupted anyway you should re-
start the cooking process using the Conven-
tional function instead.

CHANGING SETTINGS
WHEN THE APPLIANCE IS FIRST PLUGGED IN it will ask
you to set the Language & Clock.
AFTER APOWER FAILURE the Clock will flash and
needs to be reset.
YOUR OVEN HAS a number of functions which can
be adjusted to your personal taste.
TORESET to the factory settings, simply keep
the Back button pressed for 5 seconds.
1. TURN THE MULTIFUNCTION KNOB to the setting po-
sition.
2. USE THE ADJUST KNOB to choose one of the fol-
lowing settings to adjust.

DELAYED START WORKS WITH
THESE FUNCTIONS

KITCHEN TIMER
USE THIS FUNCTION when you need a kitchen tim-
er to measure time for various purposes such
as cooking eggs etc.
THE KITCHEN TIMER AUTOMATICALLY STARTS the countdown after 10 sec-
onds. Press the OK button again if you wish it to start sooner.
ANACOUSTIC SIGNAL will be heard when the timer has finished to
count down.
4. TOTURN THE KITCHEN TIMER OFF before the countdown have fin-
ished, press the Back button twice.
TIMER
-/+ TO SET
1. TURN THE MULTIFUNCTION KNOB to the zero position. The clock is
displayed if it has been set, else the display will be blank.
2. PRESS THE OK BUTTON to activate the timer.
3. TURN THE ADJUST KNOB TO SET THE TIME to measure.
DELAYED START
USE THIS FUNCTION when you need to have the
cooking finished at a specific time. The oven
needs to know the desired cooking duration
and the time of day when the food should be
ready.
1. FOLLOW THE SETTING PROCEDURE for the function you wish to use
and stop when the cooking time has been set.
2. PRESS THE OK BUTTON. You will automatically be taken to the
next setting.
3. TURN THE ADJUST KNOB to set the Cooking End Time.
4. PRESS THE OK BUTTON again. Delayed Start is automatically acti-
vated and the oven starts when the time left to “ready time”
equals the cooking time set.

RAPID PREHEAT
USE THIS FUNCTION TO PREHEAT the empty oven.
PREHEATING is always done with the oven empty
just like you would in a conventional oven be-
fore cooking or baking.
DURING THE HEATING PROCESS the indicator bar is rising until the set
temperature is reached.
1. TURN THE MULTIFUNCTION KNOB to the Rapid Preheat position.
2. TURN THE ADJUST KNOB to set the temperature.
3. PRESS THE OK BUTTON TWICE.
DONOT PLACE FOOD BEFORE OR DURING preheating
in the oven. It will be burned from the intense
heat.
ONCE THE HEATING PROCESS has been started the temperature can
easily be adjusted by turning the adjust knob.
WHEN THE SET TEMPERATURE IS REACHED, insert food and choose
Forced Air or Conventional function to begin cooking.
