BLACK OUT ALARM
Afterapowerblackout,yourproductisdesigned
toautomaticallymonitorthetemperaturein
thefreezerwhenelectricityisresupplied.Ifthe
temperatureinthefreezerrisesabovefreezing
level,theBlackOutindicator turnson,the
Alarmindicator blinksandtheacousticalalarm
soundswhenelectricityisresupplied.Toresetthe
alarmpresstheStopAlarmbutton justonce.
IncaseofBlackOutAlarm,thefollowingactions
arerecommended:
• Ifthefoodinthefreezerisunfrozenbutstill
cold,allthefoodinthefreezershouldbeeaten
withinthenext24hours.
• Ifthefoodinthefreezerisfrozen,thisindicates
thefoodwasthawedandthenrefrozenwhen
electricitywasre-suppliedwhichdegrades
taste,qualityandnutritionalvalueandalso
couldbeunsafe.Itisrecommendedtonot
consumethefoodbuttodisposeoftheentire
contentofthefreezer.TheBlackOutAlarmis
designedtoprovideguidanceonfoodqualityin
thefreezerintheeventofelectricityblackout.
Thissystemdoesnotguaranteefoodquality
orsafetyandconsumersareadvisedtouse
theirownjudgmentinevaluatingfoodqualityin
freezercompartment.
TEMPERATURE ALARM
Theacousticalarmsoundsandtemperature
indicator(°C)blinks.Thealarmisactivatedwhen:
• Theapplianceisconnectedtothepower
supplyafterprolongeddisuse
• Thefreezercompartmenttemperatureistoo
high
• Thequantityoffoodsloadedintothefreezer
exceedsthatindicatedontheratingplate
• Thefreezerdoorhasbeenleftopenforalong
time.
TomutethealarmbuzzerpressStopAlarm
button justonce.TheAlarmindicator is
automaticallyturned-offassoonasthefreezer
compartmentreachesatemperaturebelow
-10°Candthetemperaturesetindicator(°C)stop
blinkingandshowsthechosensetting.
NOTE: Thetemperaturealarmmayevenbe
activatedfollowingprolongedopeningofthedoor
orafterfreshfoodproductshavebeenplaced
inthefreezingzone;thetemporaryincreasein
temperaturesignaleddoesnotaffecttheperfect
preservationofalreadyfrozenfood.
DOOR OPEN ALARM
The Alarmiconlightsupblinkingandthe
acousticalarmsounds.Thealarmisactivated
whenthedoorisleftopenformorethan2minutes.
Todisengagethedooralarmclosethedoor,or
pressonce StopAlarmbuttontomutethe
acousticalarm.
KEY LOCK
Thisfunctionpreventsanyonefrominadvertently
changingsettingsorswitchingofftheappliance.
Tolockthekeys,pressStopAlarmbutton for
3secondsuntilthedisplayshowstheKeyLock
indicator andanacousticsignalconfirmsthe
functionhasbeenselected.After3s.indicator
goesoff.Whenactivated,pressingtheother
buttons(exceptStopAlarmbutton)activatesan
audiblesignalandondisplayflashestheKeyLock
indicator .Anyalarmcanbedeactivatedwhen
KeyLockfunctionisactive.
Tounlockthekeys,followthesameprocedure
untilthedisplayshowstheKeyLockindicator
andanacousticsignalconfirmsthefunctionhas
beendisengaged.After1s.indicator goesoff.
SHOCK FREEZE
The“ShockFreeze”compartmentisspecifically
designedtofreezeupto2kgoffreshfood
extremelyquickly.Theultra-fast“ShockFreeze”
functionminimizestheformationoficecrystals
insidethefoodasitfreezes,thusensuringitisof
thebestpossiblequalitywhendefrostedpriorto
consumption.Whenthe“ShockFreeze”function
isnotactive,thecompartmentcanbeusedas
normalfortraditionalfreezingorforthestorageof
alreadyfrozenfoods.
NOTE:WhentheShockFreezefunctionisactive
youmayhearahummingsound.Thisisabsolutely
normalandiscausedbyairflowthatpermits
optimumcolddistributioninsidecompartment.
Activating and deactivating the “Shock
Freeze” function:
1. Makesureatleast12hourshavepassedsince
thelasttimethe“ShockFreeze”functionwas
activated(ifatall).Donotactivatethefunction
morefrequentlythanonceevery12hours.
2.Makesurethatthe“FastFreeze”functionis
notactive:“ShockFreeze”and“FastFreeze”
functionscannotbeactivetogetheratthesame
time.
3.Emptythe“ShockFreeze”compartment.
4.Activatethe“ShockFreeze”functionbybriefly
touchingthebutton onthecontrolpanel:the
iconlightsupandthefansonthebottomofthe
compartmentcomeon,increasingtheflowof
coldairandacceleratingthefreezingprocess
asaresult.
5.Placethefoodtobefrozeninsidethe
compartment,afewcentimeters(min.2
cm)awayfromthefansonthebottomofthe
compartment,sothatcoldaircancirculate.
6.Toachievemaximumfreezingspeed,we
recommendnottodeactivatethe“Shock
Freeze”functionuntilitisautomatic
deactivation,keepingclosedthedoor.
