Large amounts of ice (more than two
glasses) should be taken from the ice
maker storage bin not the dispenser.
The dispenser motor may stop if the
dispenser bar is held in too long. If
the motor stops, it will restart in
about 3minutes.
Cubes left in the bin for long periods
of time may develop an off-flavor, like
stale water. Throw old cubes away.

Goodwater quality is important for
good ice quality. It is not
recommended that you connect the
ice maker to a softened water
supply. If a softened water supply
cannot be avoided, it is important to
maintain the water softener soit
operates properly. Water softener
chemicals, such as salt from a
malfunctioning softener, can damage
the ice maker mold and lead to poor
quality ice.
