INTRODUCTION
You’re holding a unique, multi-functional parent assistant: E-zzy the Sloth. E-zzy combines three dierent devices: it is a
soothing sound emitting device, sleep monitor and parent’s personal assistant. Everything you need in one soft, plush sloth.
We realize that parenthood is not exactly a bed of roses, but with E-zzy on your side you’ll see that it can be easier.

WARNING!
Please read the safety recommendations carefully before using the device and the toy.
Ignoring the rules may be dangerous or illegal. Read this manual carefully for important safety information and operating
instructions before using this toy.
• Keep these instructions for future reference, as they contain important information.
• If the toy is installed in a crib, bed, or pram, remove the toy to avoid the risk of a possible injury due to the child getting
entangled when they start making the rst attempts at crawling. Always fasten the Velcro opening completely to protect
your child from contact with the soothing device.
• Remember that the device and the USB cord are not toys! To avoid injury, don’t leave the device and/or the USB cord near
children unattended!
• Make sure the batteries are placed in correct positions (+/-). Keep batteries outside children’s reach. Use only the
rechargeable batteries. Don’t mix dierent types of batteries, or new and old batteries of the same type. Remove the
batteries if you’re not using the device for a long time. Exhausted batteries should be charged, or removed from the toy if
they are damaged. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Do not throw exhausted batteries into the household
waste; turn them in at a local recycling point.
• Do not overheat batteries or expose them to extreme cold (below 0°C/32°F or above 4°C/104°F), sunlight, or other heat
sources. Extreme temperatures may aect battery life. Contact with liquids and metal objects may damage the battery. Do
not destroy, damage, or dispose of this product in a re – it may be dangerous, cause an explosion and re.
• Do not use non-rechargeable and/or alkaline batteries. They can damage the device or cause re or explosion of the battery
and the device.
• Keep the batteries away from children. Rechargeable batteries should only be charged and replaced by an adult.
• When opening the battery compartment, keep sharp tools and screws outside children’s reach!
• IMPORTANT: Always consider your child’s safety!
• Check all elements of the product before use to ensure there are no potential deciencies or threats to your child’s safety and
health. If you notice any deciency, immediately stop using the product and contact the manufacturer.
• Do not turn on the toy in locations where using electronic devices is forbidden, or where the device may cause interference
or other accidents.
• Follow any and all instructions, rules, and warnings issued by the personnel employed at the place where you want to use
the toy or the device.
• Do not turn on the toy or the device or use it near ammable materials.
• Cords and plastic wrap elements of the packaging may be swallowed by children, which may lead to choking and
suocation – keep them away from children.
• Children of all ages can use the toy, but when the sound producing device is installed, it is recommended not to leave
children unattended.
• The toy includes magnets or magnetic elements. Magnets attached to each other or to a metal object when introduced to a
human body may cause serious or lethal injury. In case of swallowing a magnet or introducing them to airways, immediately
call 911.
• The soothing device emits electromagnetic waves at 2.4 GHz frequency. Other wireless devices may interfere with the toy’s
operation.

• The manufacturer shall not be liable for audio or video interference caused by self-made modications or by using cords or
chargers other that supplied with the product.
• Charge the device away from children.
• Before charging the device, remove it from the toy and always charge it on a at surface.
• Stop charging the device if you see any signs of a possible malfunction.
• To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not shake or hit the device.
• Do not use the product if it is malfunctioning, has been dropped or damaged.
• Do not use the product for purposes other than those for which it was intended.
• The device is not water-resistant. Do not expose it to water or other liquids.
• Exposing the toy and/or device to water or other liquids may aect the life and work of electronic components.
• Don’t use the toy or the device in very humid or dusty environments, because water or dust particles may lter into the device
and aect its electronic components, damaging or ruining the device.
• Keep away from intense sunlight and do not use near other devices that produce a lot of heat.
• Don’t use the device’s highest volume setting for a prolonged time and do not put your ear directly to the device when it’s
working.

SERVICE ACCESS AREA
After removing the top element of the casing, service
staff gain access to all the systems that make the
device, even if the device is working. Disassembly
of the lower section of the casing requires
disconnecting the device from the power supply.
OPERATOR ACCESS AREA
The battery compartment is the device’s operator
access area. Accessing the area requires a tool.
TOOL
Removing the cover plate of the battery casing
requires a PH1 Philips screwdriver.
Work time Built-in software allows for maximum work time of the device:
90 minutes of continuous noise emission
180 minutes in the stand-by mode (CRYsensor mode active)
The suggested batteries allow the device to work:
Maximum idle work time: 250h
Maximum stand-by (CRYsensor) work time: 80h
Maximum active work time (producing soothing sound): 7.5h
Battery Charging Using the device while charging is not recommended. In particular, switching the soothing
sound on, changing the soothing sound’s settings, or remote access to the device.
Additional information: The device is designed to be routinely moved around.
Class III Device compliant with PN-EN 60950-1:2007. The voltage of the device does not
deliver electric shock.
During normal use, without applying tools, the user can access the control button (on the
casing) and the USB port (to charge the batteries that supply power for the device).

STARTING THE SOOTHING DEVICE
To operate, the device requires THREE RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES TYPE AAA NiMH. Whisbear® recommends size
AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries (1.2V), but remember that
the actual size of batteries produced by dierent manufacturers
may vary even if they are the specs are the same in the
documentation.
To insert or replace batteries, unscrew the screw and prise the plate open. Load the batteries into the
compartment and screw the plate back. If the batteries are at, charge them with a recommended
charger by connecting it to the USB port ofthe soothing device.
To turn the device on or o, press anywhere on the top side of the device briey once. The soothing device may be also switched on
the same way while secured in the E-zzy’s pocket.
CHARGING
Before rst use install new rechargeable batteries in the soothing device, and connect the device to a charger. Use the USB cord
supplied with the product. Connect the USB cord to a charger. The charger is not included in the set. Connect the USB cord to
the USB port in the device.
It takes about 2 hours to fully charge a completely dead battery. Disconnect external charger after that time.
It’s best to charge the device only after the batteries are completely depleted.
The device informs about depleted batteries with a short, intermittent audio signal. Low power may aect the quality and sound
volume of soothing sound. If the audio quality or the volume of the soothing sound is signicantly worse, replace the batteries.
Use only chargers dedicated for the device. Using non-compatible chargers and cords may cause permanent damage to the
battery or the device. Failure to connect the charger correctly may damage the charger or the device. The warranty does not
cover damage resulting from incorrect use.
Do not leave the toy unattended while it is charging.
USING THE DEVICE WITH CRYsensor FEATURE OFF
To turn the device on or off, press the top of the device briefly once. It will gradually
automatically reduce the sound volume and turn o after about 45 minutes of work. The
duration can be changed with the app.

USING THE DEVICE WITH ACTIVE CRYsensor FEATURE
The intelligent CRYsensor function analyzes the sound from its surroundings and it is particularly sensitive to a baby’s cry.
Soothing sound switches on automatically, when the device detects a sound and interprets it as a cry. If E-zzy the Sloth is
located close to the child, the device may also switch on after detecting other loud noises that may wake the baby up, or when
the baby moves rapidly.
To turn the device on or o, press the top of the device briey once. It will gradually automatically reduce the sound volume and
automatically switches to the 3-hour CRYsensor stand-by mode.
If the baby starts crying during the 3 hours of CRYsensor standby mode, the device analyzes the cry for a few seconds and
automatically starts soothing sound for additional 45 minutes. After that time it switches to the 3-hour long CRYsensor standby
mode again. The cycle is repeated until the device is switched o. The device switches o automatically after 3 hours if no crying
is detected or it can be switched o manually by pressing the button.
The default duration of soothing sound and CRYsensor stand-by mode can be changed with the app.
Removing the batteries automatically restores the device’s default settings.
TURNING THE CRYsensor FEATURE ON AND OFF
To turn the CRYsensor feature on or o, when the device is o (not producing soothing sound) press and hold the button on
the device for about 3 seconds. A short audio signal conrms CRYsensor’s mode change.

ADJUSTING VOLUME ON THE DEVICE
Adjust the soothing sound volume according to your baby’s needs.
To adjust volume, press and hold the button for at least 3 seconds when the device is working (producing soothing sound). The
rst time you do it, the sound volume increases; the second time it decreases. Pressing and holding the button for at least 3
seconds when the device is o (not producing soothing sound), switches the CRYsensor feature on or o.
The device remembers the selected volume value and, when switched on again, it will automatically use the last setting.
USING A DEVICE WITH THE WHISBEAR® APP
BLUETOOTH® CONNECTION
Turn on Bluetooth® on your mobile device and pair it with E-zzy through the Whisbear® app.
• Successful pairing is conrmed with the “E-zzy found” notication.
• You can start using E-zzy the Sloth now.
SWITCHING THE SOOTHING DEVICE WITH THE APP
The basic version of the Whisbear® application manages your toy, pairing it with a Bluetooth® smart module.
At any moment only one device can be connected to E-zzy the Sloth. After severing the link, another device can connect to E-zzy
as long as it is paired with it via the same account.

WHISBEAR® APP SETTINGS
® :
• Turn the soothing sound on and o.
• Select the soothing sound’s duration. Available durations are: 15/25/45/60/75/90 minutes. Unless any of these options
have been selected, Ezzy produces sound for 45 minutes. The app informs you of the remaining shushing time.
• Adjust the soothing sound volume. The app recognizes manual settings and displays them in the app screen. You can also
adjust the sound volume manually, directly on the device (see ADJUSTING VOLUME ON THE DEVICE).
• Select the sound’s type.
• Turn the device on at specic time (IMPORTANT: if you do not turn this feature o, the device will switch on at that time
every day).
• Turn the CRYsensor mode on and o. The device noties the user if CRYsensor has been manually turned on/o.
• Set the active mode duration for the CRYsensor.
• Determine ambient noise level in the environment – this option changes CRYsensor’s sensitivity. Available settigns:
1) quiet – CRYsensor is more Sittensen to sounds (e.g. the room where the child sleeps is very quiet).; 2) loud – CRYsensor
is less sensitive to sounds (e.g. the room adjacent to the child’s room is noisy); 3) Default – default CRYsensor settings.
CRYALERT feature noties you if a soothing sound has been switched on. If the app works in the background, the user still receives
notications.

INSTALLING THE DEVICE IN THE TOY
Insert the soothing device into the pocket in the toy and secure it by completely closing the pocket with Velcro straps.
Once the device is secured inside, E-zzy the Sloth can be easily attached to the crib, pram, or car seat. The sloth’s paws have
sewn-in magnets, which attach to each other when you bring together two front or two hind paws.
PROBLEM-SOLVING GUIDE
In case of any problems with the device, read the following tips rst:
Unable to turn the device on • To restart the device remove the batteries and insert them again.
• Charge or change the battery
Unable to pair the device with
a smartphone.
• Check whether the smartphone Bluetooth® feature is on.
• Check if the toy is not paired with another device or assigned to another account.
If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer’s customer service.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To extend the product’s life:
• Avoid exposing the device to liquids, because they may damage the toy’s electronic components.
• Avoid exposing the toy to very high temperatures, which decrease the life of the device’s electronic components, may melt
plastic elements and destroy the battery.
• Do not disassemble the device. Modications made by untrained amateurs may severely damage or destroy the device.
• REMOVE the soothing device from toy before cleaning the sloth.
• The toy may be washed manually in a maximum temperature of 30°C/86°F.
• The toy may also be washed in a washing machine in a maximum temperature of 30°C/86°F a delicate program.
• Do not wash in the washer.
• Do not bleach or use other detergents.
• Do not dry in a combo washer-dryer.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry-clean.
• Clean the device only using a dry cloth. Don’t use highly acidic or alkaline detergents.
• Use only original accessories. Breaking this rule may result in nullifying the warranty.
• The device’s packaging may be recycled according to the local regulations.
• ATTENTION! The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for the consequences of any situations involving incorrect use
of the toy or not following the instructions in this user’s manual.
RECYCLING INFORMATION
• Pursuant to the European Directive 2012/19/UE on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), the device is marked
with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.
• The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste.
• Instead, it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By
