Helpful Tips
. Remember Teddy RuxpinTM requires 4 AA (LR6) batteries to operate.
They are not included and must be installed by an adult before playtime.
. Lithium batteries are suggested for longer playtime.
. If Teddy Ruxpin’sTM eye animation and mouth movements don’t match, try
turning him off and back on.
. If Teddy Ruxpin'sTM eye animation freeze try turning him off and back on.
If this does not fix the issue you can also try removing and reinstalling the
batteries, or replacing with fresh batteries.
. If you haven't played with Teddy RuxpinTM in a while, you may have to turn
his switch off and on to wake him up again.
. There are 20+ eye expressions in Teddy Ruxpin’sTM 3 pre-loaded stories.
The rest can be seen as more stories are unlocked.
. Give Teddy RuxpinTM a pleasant environment. Excessive heat or submersion
in water will cause damage.
. Surface washable only.
. Keep sharp objects such as pencils and scissors away from Teddy RuxpinTM,
especially around his delicate LCD eyes. Puncturing them will cause
serious damage.
. Be sure never to poke Teddy RuxpinTM in the eyes.
. Do not shake or drop Teddy RuxpinTM.
. Don’t feed Teddy RuxpinTM. He’s not hungry.
. The Micro USB port in Teddy Ruxpin’sTM back is not for charging. He runs on
batteries only.
. An eye mask is included to protect Teddy Ruxpin’sTM eyes when he’s
not in use.
. It is recommended to remove batteries when Teddy RuxpinTM is not
expected to be used for extended periods of time or when storing.
. Give Teddy RuxpinTM lots of love!

• Check out your unlocked stories by tapping the “Library” button in the top right
corner of the Home Screen.
• The app on your device can only run with one Teddy RuxpinTM, which is the first
one with which it synced.
• If you delete and re-install the Teddy RuxpinTM App on your chosen smart device,
stories previously unlocked will automatically sync again.
• The App will only function when connected with Teddy RuxpinTM.
• No sound will come from the app. All sound will come from Teddy RuxpinTM.
• If Teddy Ruxpin’sTM battery is low, an alert will appear at the top of the app screen.
• If Teddy RuxpinTM beeps, his batteries are low and need to be changed.
• Teddy Ruxpin’sTM stories will always cycle in the same order, shown above.
• To unlock additional stories, tap “Library” in the top right corner of the
Home Screen.
• Stories available for purchase are grayed out with lock icons. Tap the
covers to learn more and purchase.
• You will always be asked for a confirmation before making any purchases.
In-app purchases cost real money and should always be made by an adult.

Pairing And Launching App
• Check to make sure that the Bluetooth on your smart device is ON.
• After the app download is complete and Bluetooth is enabled on your device,
open the Teddy RuxpinTM app.
• Push the Bluetooth Button on the Battery Box in Teddy Ruxpin’sTM back.
• Press the “Let’s Start Reading!” button on the main screen to start syncing with
Teddy RuxpinTM.
• Once the App has successfully connected with Teddy RuxpinTM, you will be
prompted to press Teddy Ruxpin’sTM right paw to skip to the next story.
• Some Android devices may require GPS enabled for Bluetooth connection.
• REMEMBER! The app will not work without your Teddy RuxpinTM. If he is too far
away from your device, the connection will not be successful.

For users of Android 6 and up, this app requires users to allow Storage and Location Services.
If the app does not automatically prompt you to do so, please follow these instructions:
1. Close the app and go to Device Settings.
2. In Apps, select the Teddy Ruxpin app.
3. Go to Permissions and enable Location Services & Storage.
4. Open the app and connect with your Teddy Ruxpin
