The numbered referen e dots below indi ate the DCC system
setup steps in order. Please refer to the opposite page for
additional instru tions for ea h step.
Make sure that you have a pair of power feeder wires
atta hed to your existing tra k per the tra k manufa turers
instru tions. For short runs of less than 3 feet smaller 18-
22 gauge wire is permissible. For longer runs use larger
gauge wire to avoid urrent and voltage losses leading to
poor performan e. After onne ting the wires to the tra k
strip off 3/8” of insulation from the end of the wires that
will be onne ted to the WiCC-B5.
Insert the power feeder wires from your tra k into the
provided 2-pin tra k power plug Do this by loosening the
s rews on the onne tor with a small flat blade s rewdriver.
Insert ea h stripped end of ea h wire into ea h hole of the
tra k power plug. Carefully tighten the s rews on the plug.
Insert the tra k power plug into the female onne tor on
the WiCC-B5 ba k panel labeled “TRACK POWER”. Note that
the polarity of the wires at the onne tor is not important.
Insert the provided 12 volt, 5 amp power supply plug into
the female onne tor on the WiCC-B5 ba k panel labeled
“12-24 VDC”. Only use a WiCommand ertified power
supply as other makes and models might damage the
WiCC-B5 and will void the warranty.
After onne ting the tra k feeder wiring and power supply
into the WiCC-B5, you may plug the power supply into a
standard 120 volt wall outlet. On e booted the Status LED
indi ator on the WiCC-B5 ba k panel should turn green.
Using your Android or IOS ompatible devi e download and
install the WiCC-Cab app. For links to the app for your
devi e please visit us online at www.wi ommand. om and
li k downloads. After installing the app, laun h it and then
follow the instru tions within the app for onne ting your
devi e to the WiCC-B5 system.
STATUS LED: Off = Power Supply is not onne ted
Yellow = CPU is booting
Green = Normal operation
Red = Fatal error return to us for servi e
CONN LED: Off = No wireless devi es onne ted or
Tra k power is turned off in the app
Green = App is onne ted and tra k power is on
Red = Tra k power output is shorted
