PRACTICE
Before your first pumping session, we recommend that you practice
Alignment with just the Flange.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT FLANGE SIZE
In addition to proper alignment, choosing the right flange size is critical to successful pumping.
If you’re not sure what your flange size is, visit our website: www.willowpump.com
Your breast flange size may fluctuate with birth, breastfeeding, and pumping. We
recommend you revisit your flange fit from time to time.
Too Small: During
pumping, some or
your entire nipple rubs
against the side of the
flange tunnel.
Too Large: During pumping,
more areola is drawn into
the breast flange with your
nipple. Your areola may
rub against the side of the
breast flange tunnel.
Good Fit: During pumping,
your nipple moves freely in the
breast flange tunnel. You see
space around the nipple, and
little to no areola is pulled into
the tunnel with the nipple.
